Rude,Disrespectful, and unprecedented acts of outright rudeness. Needs to be disbarred and seriously investigated. Especially after what happened with the 17 year old girl no matter how long ago or how remorseful someone is. Probably remorseful he got caught but what about what he did

I hired Mr McCalep firm and they was all amazing !! I was facing three different charges in Henry County and he really did the impossible on all 3 Charges with getting the two that would of cause me to lose a lot DROPPED and the 3rd one a small fee!! Being African American I pride myself on trying to do business with my people this was a very very disappointing experience if you do not want to take a case say it in the beginning don't ghost people that are supposed to be your clients don't send them in circles don't hide from them don't avoid their calls don't pick up on other lines when they dial you from a number that you don't recognise invented them you were about to call them I would not recommend this law office to anyone who was serious about litigation who was serious about getting what was owed to them or what they deserved this company is not interested in that this company's ambulance chaser this company is all about the easy win and if they feel your case is not an easy win they will ghost you very disappointing in my opinion

Life is so different now with all that is going on in the world point of contact with people is very slim to not at all. So you really can't judge some things. Me and my family were in a car accident. I didn't want to surf the internet looking for a lawyer again, been there done that a total nightmare. But, I needed a lawyer. I called a friend to see if she could refer or knew of a lawyer she shared Ballard's information. I called and texted him never saw him face to face. 100% satisfied with his service very well spoken man, answer the phone each time I called reponded to every text. The Courtroom Assassin strikes again with pure vengeance. He was disgraced when the judge denied his motion to suppress the breath test results. At which time he vowed to me that failure was not an option. He started to prepare our defense. As our trial began on June 8, 2021, he quietly leaned over to me and says, " I got this." When the trial began, he meticulously assaulted the State's witnesses (police) with precision. Upon his conclusion of the cross examination there was nothing left but carnage. The prosecutor even asked for mercy during his closing arguments. The prosecutor reasoned the police had come from a small department and deserved some leniency. Mr. Casey Cleaver concluded with explaining to the Court as to why he was so meticulous/ruthless with his assault on the State's witnesses. He looked at the jury and said, "Mr. Williams is not guilty of DUI." They all looked at him with astonishment, not believing what they had all just witnessed. After closing arguments were done, the Judge released the Jury for deliberation. They deliberated for almost five hours. Finally, they came back with a verdict. The foreman stood up and read the verdict. He said, "For driving under the influence of ALCOHOL, we the jury find the Defendant NOT GUILTY." The Courtroom Assassin sheath his sword and turned and walked out of the courtroom. Justice has been served again.

I believe it was God's timing that I met Scott when I did. After being connected with Scott through a mutual associate, Scott made me feel confident hiring him as my lawyer. I have never been in legal trouble before so of course, I was nervous. Scott did a great job outlining my case, communicating with me and also acknowledged the fact that I am a truly a good citizen. I have had several questions along the case both pertaining to the legal system and society in general. I have felt comfortable and have been able to be my true self within interaction. Unfortunately I am unable to give a positive review of Scott Smith's office. I was referred to him by a friend for a simple DUI case. My experience summed up: After being personally assured from Scott himself that I would be in good hands, my case was passed from person to person and kicked down to what seemed to be the bottom of the totem pole (to an associate named Casey) who not only failed to file my paperwork on time but failed to appear to all court dates after advising me that my presence was not necessary. After several attempts to contact via email, text, voice calls, voice mails, physical appearance- my license was temporarily suspended (I was unaware of this until being pulled over for a 5 day late expired tag and then arrested for driving with a suspended license). Scott's office did acknowledge their negligence but proceeded to show the same lackadaisical effort as before, resulting in the hard suspension of my license and my request for a refund. If it were possible to give a 0 star review- I would.

I was charged with expired tag and driving with a suspended license. Ben took care of it real soon and smooth. All I needed to do was renew my tag and restore my license as I had to with or without him, and he got my both charges dismissed. Read this entire review and you'll know everything you need to know about Thomas Thomas. I was your typical boy next door, all American athlete. High school social drinker turned college animal led to a flurry of DUIs and other alcohol related arrest in my early 20's. Unfortunately I didn't learn after the 1st time or find Tom until 1/2 way through that journey. Even in the face of insurmountable odds, Tom and his team secured the best possible outcome under the circumstances on more than one occasion. After getting my act together, nearly 2 decades later in my 40's, married with 4 young kids and a business to run, my past came back to haunt me. This time, by no fault of my own. When requesting a copy of my court dispositions to get a real estate license, a glitch in the system between the City of Atlanta and Department of Drivers Services suspended my license as if I had just a DUI, which was not the case. I found this out while trying to purchase a car. Thank God I didn't get pulled over and end up in jail not even knowing it was suspended. My license had been suspended for 10 months when I made this discovery. After exhausting every possible resource at the city, DDS, court house and solicitors office. Nobody could give me any explanation as to what was going on. I spent days trying to figure this out, then I decided to give Tom's office a call. His team leaped into action. Got to the bottom of the issue and had my license reinstated in a week. Not once did they hesitate or even hint that I needed to compensate them in any way. I pray I'll never need his help again. But if I do, I wouldn't hire anyone else.

I hired Brandon to be my lawyer the case was drug out over five years he was very Unresponsive to any of my questions very rude try to handle you any kind away when you were paying $5000 constantly have to reach out to him to ask him about what’s going on with your case again very rude and I would not recommend Brandon to anyone he just all about money that’s the all thing that he talks about whenever I’m on the phone with him he sucks‼️ He called me last week saying that he had a disposition and that he will get the paperwork for me of course I had to reach back out to him then he told me you go get the paperwork yourself from the court very unprofessional and I would not use him at all???? Technically he did nothing the state had no proof that’s why my case was dismissed

I worked with George recently on a traffic case. About a year ago, I got into a car accident that was completely my fault. Instead of paying attention to the road, I was too focused on getting my GPS to work. Because of this, i accidentally veered into the middle of the road and hit someone. Thankfully they didn’t experience any injuries. However, instead of just a failure to maintain lane, the officer on scene wanted to also give me a “DUI less safe” with no breathalyzer or field sobriety test done. I was honest and told the officer I had a glass of wine earlier in the day, so I guess he tried to use that as his justification. I was honestly freaking out because with my occupation, a DUI could really hurt me. So I called around. I honestly believe I talked to at least 10 different lawyers. One lawyer tried to convince me to just accept a “reckless driving,” even though I knew I didn’t drink and drive. Another didn’t know anything about DUIs but had a friend who did so he would get advise from them if I worked with him. Finally I went on YouTube and searched, “DUI lawyers in Georgia” and came across George’s videos and knew I wanted to work with him. I’m not rich and I don’t come from a rich family, but I knew I had to pay whatever the cost was to have George as my lawyer and it completely worked out for me in the end. Not only was the DUI dropped, but he was able to get rid of the “fleeing the scene” charge that they later on added because I went next door. I am so blessed that I came across George because I’m almost positive it would have not gone the way it did if he wasn’t there. Thank you George! -Beauty

I contacted Eric Bernstein when I received a speeding ticket in Jasper, GA, going 81 mph in a 65 mph zone on my way back to Atlanta from the N GA mountains. He was incredibly kind, helpful & educational & came up a with a strategy to help me not get the ticket reported to DDS/not get points on my insurance. He worked swiftly to execute his plan & he succeeded! Eric was able to get the prosecutor to agree to knock my ticket down to 79mph, meaning my insurance will not find out about it! Daughter was in an accident, which we did not contest. But the police officer either didn't know the law or just piled on an extra charge that we just KNEW was wrong. George reassured us that we were correct, and that the most logical explanation was that the cop was, ahem, incorrect. It was worth the legal fee to watch the judge correct the officer.

The long story short .. I called Mr. Sullivan at 4 o'clock in the morning regarding an emergency and to my surprise, he answered the phone himself. There were no wait times and no calling trees. At 7 AM that same morning, Mr. Sullivan made his way down to the courthouse and resolved the presenting issue in less than 12 hours. To that, he maintained constant communication and had incredible patience in explaining law jargon in lay terms. Because of this, my family and I will continue to and have already recommended this law firm and Mr. Sullivan to family and friends.
