I was told multiple times that Michael Van Der was going to represent my son at trial. He was there but let a attorney who was a attorney for 1 year. Michael kept saying things to Grant. The judge got irritated and asked who was representing my son and Michael said him. He then took over and lost. No evidence just accusation that the victim didn’t know what year or anything. I know my son was misrepresented. Michael should have the decency to admit he was wrong and represent my son for free. I’m sorry but it’s been 3 years and that’s all I think about. I’m under psychiatrist care and haven’t slept or ate right for these years. Michael I’m asking you please get my son’s convection dismissed. Just think if it’s was your child. I know my son is innocent and I’ll never stop till I take my last breath. Please find it in your heart and conscious to do the right thing. Brian has no idea I’m calling and writing. It’s Mary Alicea his mother who knows he’s innocent. Just read the report again and you’ll see many discrepancies from Anthony and a few from Christina.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. Although some of the lawyers may do their jobs correctly, others are there just to take your money with no work being done at all and management will be right by their side to back them up. It’s a shame when you tell a lawyer he is fired and he still says he is showing up to court dates because another lawyer is not assigned to the case. (Another lawyer was assigned) It’s a shame that you would abuse your power as an attorney and tell someone’s family member they do not know the law and scam them out of their money without making not one appearance in court and when asked for a refund...stating there are no refunds. When asked to speak with a manager, he’s just as rude and nasty and tells you to do what you want to do before hanging up and telling them they still owe money. The communication is horrible!! I’ve never heard a lawyer say, “I’m sorry I’ve been tied up with trial for 2 weeks and could not return ONE phone call.” If you know you do not have time for clients that are paying you a good amount of money, maybe you shouldn’t take on new cases. It could become overwhelming. Know your limits and stop scamming people out of their money just because “everyone seems to have cash now and days.” Just sickening! If I could give them NO STARS I definitely would!

The staff was both professional and friendly; the Covid protocol was tight. I really appreciate the wise counsel I received from Mr. Bruce Castor who reviewed every aspect of my situation, and invited an associate in office to join us in our meeting w/an area of expertise that I needed. After Mr. Castor listened he advised me on my options & quickly addressed my immediate concern before I even got home; he help to save me $ & followed up with encouragement & support.

I wish I can say good things but so far a bad experience. I had a case where I actually build my own case because nobody was actually doing their. The people there are great but the communication is horrible. I would love to continue business but I won’t. I did all the work & i will take my case to another lawyer.

Jeremy Alva helped me out for many years Since I was 14 years old until I turned 28... I hope it’s the last time Ill need his help. But if I was to ever get in trouble again I wouldnt hesitate to call Mr. Alva law firm!!!!! All the Criminal Cases i caught was very serious and some how he still managed to get them thrown out or got me the best deal possible... never did any real time because of Jeremy Alva!!!! Website says he’s the best of the best but I certainly do not agree, feel Mr. Diamondstein didn’t act in good faith in interns of being a lawyer how could you take a case that had nothing to do with the reason my brother was incarcerated. It really wasn’t about the money but more so the integrity and honesty of the situation. Still considering reporting this firm to the Bar.

Out of all the lawyers I have contacted for my boyfriend, Zak was the only one that called me back and took his case. In a case that should’ve ended with many years in a jail cell ended with a few months of house arrest. He answered every question, every concern. He responded to every text and answered every call. Zak is an amazing lawyer. Even during a pandemic he still tried his hardest to make things happen. I appreciate his hard work and dedication. Would definitely choose Zak again if I needed to.

Mr. Fishman is definitely worth the money, this man reassured me that everything would work out fine and I’d be okay. And sure enough he lived up to his word, courteous and respectful of his clients time he took the time to hear me out and make sure he got the right outcome. Unlike other lawyers he doesn’t like to drag out your case just to milk you for every penny you got, he puts you first and even after your case he’ll make sure your set straight. Mr Fishman immediately stood out in court as the sharpest and gets the highest level of respect from staff and judges. That matters A LOT! So I hired him to solve a loved ones issue. In the end Mr Fishman was able to resolve it with no charges at all. If you, or a loved one, ever runs into trouble pick this guy. Relationships matter and you can't do better. I can not stress how great of a lawyer Brian is. At first I wasn’t 100% sure of the quality of lawyer I was getting but from day one he was easy to reach and share details of my case with. He took my case personal as if his own family members freedom was on the line. Our first court appearance he not only exposed a shady police officer but argued for me at my preliminary hearing as if we were in trial and beat the case right then and there! He could of prolonged until trial and got more money out of me but the fact that he didn’t is a testament to his character and quality of lawyer he is. Being a young black male it was a breath of fresh air to finally find a lawyer so altruistic, you can’t find anyone better. And him reaching out after everything was over to just converse about my positive direction for my future was also heartening. Needless to say I highly recommend!!

Over all deal was for 25,000 Paid 10,000 up front Was at 15,000, missed a payment and he made sure he didn’t come to court …. He made sure he didn’t give us the discovery. We was very open about our financial status & he act as if he was understanding … missed 1 payment of 550. And he switched up all the way 15,000 down the drain cause we had to firer him for not putting forth in the court room & not showing up. ( 1 missed payment of 550$ ) made this man no longer interested…. He is all about money I’m a single mother of 3 & my husband was in jail A week late on a payment and he showed his colors he did not come to court for it.. shady man honestly.

I've had the best representation in the city by far when I hired Evan Hughes. I was facing several serious charges and things were looking grim. I really felt like my case was going end in bad terms until I consulted with Mr. Hughes. He gave me insight into how we can get the best results and I must admit I was a little worried. After going to court and seeing Mr. Hughes work through my case, I can't believe that he got the charges dropped down to a single simple misdemeanor!! A lot of lawyers give you good representation. Mr. Evan Hughes is very rude and incompetent. His knowledge of the laws governed by the common wealth of PA are very limited. He give more opinions than facts and there is a lot of guessing and fantasizing of what will happen rather than being prepared for reality. I would never recommend this lawyer to even anyone who has something as small as a public littering charge because his negligence will get you the maximum sentence. Sometimes we are lucky during very unlucky times. That was the case in finding Mark. In a desperate situation to know my daughter's rights as a tenant after the landlord's neglect of a situation leaving her in possible danger and great liability, Mark took the time to hear and understand all the events that had taken place and advised us of our rights and how to proceed to minimize our liability and remove my daughter from the situation - all during the initial consultation. Mark Coupoulous is an extremely smart , polite competent and aggressive attorney. He grasped all the info given ASAP, and processed to trial to get me a great judgement and a great outcome.
