My son was informed that he was being investigated by Federal agents for a crime that could result in felony charges. Neither my son nor anyone in our family had ever dealt with criminal charges nor the legal proceedings associated. Thankfully, another professional highly recommended Peter Greenspun. From the first time we met with Peter, it was clear that he was knowledgeable, experienced, and that he cared about my son as a person and not just a client. Simply put I call MR. Greenspan a miracle worker in my opinion. I was facing multiple felony charges with a maximum sentence of 11 years. Mr Greenspan not only was able to work out a great deal for me but handled him self and this case in the court room like a true champion. He was the reason that my sentence was 17months. He fought for me and he never backs down from what he believes in. He will not give you false hope nor baby you. If your looking for a great lawyer that will keep it honest, real and most of all get you result he is your guy. His assistant Vanessa is awesome and great at communicating through Email in my experience with this firm Was worth every dollar. If you need help with a criminal charge this is the law firm to hire. Never in my life did I expect to be in such a horrible position in the criminal justice system. I was arrested and held without bond for a felony and misdemeanor charge. Within hours of my wife contacting Peter and Muhammad they began working on getting me released. They were successful in getting me released the next day. They worked very closely with me and listened to everything I had to tell them. Peter asked numerous questions and made me feel at ease during the entire process. At no time did I feel like I was just another client they were simply collecting money from. During every step they kept me informed of what was going on, the conversations they had with the prosecutor, email traffic, etc. Peter also set very real expectations and didn't promise anything, yet at the same time still ensured me that he would do everything in his power. Peter is well known throughout the NOVA area and his reputation is well known. One of the things I really appreciated about working with Peter is that he never tried to force me to do anything, take any deals or pleas that I wasn't comfortable with. He always gave me options and let me make the decision with pros and cons for each decision. With a plea agreement on the table I still elected to go to trial. Peter was prepared. There was a lot of back and forth immediately before the trial and Peter was never once hesitant in doing this. I was facing 10 years for the felony and some more time for the misdemeanor. Peter understood all of this and was more than comfortable going to trial, especially given the circumstances of what transpired. In the end within 5 minutes of the trial starting the trial was stopped and Peter and the prosecutor left the courtroom, came back 5 minutes later and the case was dismissed. The professionalism Peter and his firm displayed is top notch. I hope to never use them again but if for some reason I have to I won't take a millisecond to think about who I'm going to call. I absolutely owe the fact that my 'reckless driving' ticket was reduced to Speeding to Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz. They were professional, thorough, available, and ultimately successful. They have my 110% recommendation. When I spoke to Steve initially I could tell right away he was the right lawyer for me. He is a straight shooter and was knowledgeable, interested in not just the facts but me personally, and he did NOT sugar coat when he reviewed the possible tough outcomes as well as the difficult but eventually crucial steps I should take before trial to give me the best chance of a positive outcome. He did not promise any easy verdict but he did promise his very best. He and the firm gave me utterly crucial guidance and hope for a positive outcome despite ultimately being up to the courts- BEWARE anyone who claims otherwise. He and Price Benowitz earned being my counsel by the way they responded to my situation. Again, the fact he did not just "say anything" to gain my representation made all the difference. But he also gave me the feeling of someone very intent on helping me to the best outcome possible AND who without having to say it directly, it was evident to me he fully intended to do right by me and believed he would be successful. He exuded calm, spoke to truth, clearly knew the nature of the charges and people involved in Prince William Cty on every end of things - though I am sure his scope of ability extends beyond that jurisdiction alone, I recommend him especially if you get such a ticket here. I chose to go with him because he was honest, easy to talk to, clearly experienced, intelligent and covered every angle very directly. The firm, Price Benowitz, kept me informed, was able to secure me an immediate continuance (later court date) to give me time to take Driver Improvement classes and such to help my case, and deserves kudos as well. After 6 months of stress, for a 9am court date before even going into the proceedings at 915am, within 15 minutes and before even entering the court room, though he'd been working on everything well ahead of this, Steve met me and walked off and when he returned he had worked out an agreement to reduce my Reckless to speeding (a possible 6 month license suspension with NO work pass limits was avoided, a 2500 fine became 200 dollars, and most importantly what would have been my first and only Misdemeanor of my life was avoided and will never be on my record - oh yeah or a couple nights in jail- all absolutely legitimate possibilities). If you get the wrong cop, prosecutor, judge or lawyer, you will likely not have the same good fortune I had. I owe that to Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz. If you get a reckless do NOT take it lightly and show up at court without a lawyer in jeans and a sweater. I learned a lot about how serious a 'Reckless' charge is once I got it after 29 years of driving never having to face one. A Class 1 Misdemeanor is no joke. If Steve did not have the connections, experience, aptitude and quick thinking, my result and life as I know it right now could easily be a complete nightmare. If I can't drive to work I'd lose my job. I owe this to Mr. Duckett. The bottom line is he is a serious Professional and yet wasn't there to just put his time in- he was fighting to help me personally. And that trumps all the experience in the world and is why I give Steve Duckett and Price Benowitz 5 Stars and hope one day to run into him in Old Town Manassas or Woodbridge to buy him a thank you dinner- but I definitely hope we don't meet again for legal reasons! But if I need someone for who knows what, I wouldn't think twice about calling him and his firm right back. My eternal gratitude and highest recommendation to you Steve.

I would highly recommend Att. Andrew Lindsey for all your needs. I’ve been in law enforcement in one capacity or another since 1976. I was recently retired and headed home from our first season in Florida when I was given a ticket for over 20 MPH on a major highway. To my surprise when I looked closely at my citation it said Reckless. I was never informed by the trooper of the charge of Reckless as is the norm after researching Virginia laws and it’s practices. I immediately looked on line and found Andrew. I do admit to speeding but there was nothing Reckless about a clear day with No traffic on a straight highway. If you’ve found yourself in such a situation in Virginia get a lawyer. Very pleased with Andrew in every way. It was a costly experience that law abiding travelers should not have to experience. The end result was a plead of 9 MPH over the speed limit and a fine of 579.00 including court costs. The judge decided to double my fine because in was in a high accident zone. Lesson learned and couldn’t have done it without Andrew and his representation.

Steve Duckett took my reckless driving case last minute and took the time to explain everything I needed to do. I was charged with doing 52 in a 25. He answered all my questions and someone was available to answer my calls even on the weekend. The charge was lessened and fines totaled to $177. His services was worth the money. I am incredibly thankful to The Gordon Law Firm for representing me in my reckless driving case. There were about 20 cases that went before mine the day of my trial, only one of which had representation (not The Gordon Law Firm), all of them were found guilty and punished with a minimum of hefty fines, court cost, points on their license, and drivers license suspension. The one person that did have representation was also penalized with jail time. After seeing the results of the other cases I was pretty nervous when it was my turn. However, I would’ve been even more nervous had I not taken the pre-court actions Mr. Gordon recommend to lessen any potential punishment. Fortunately, Mr. Gordon worked his magic during the trial and got my case dropped. His experience in traffic court was apparent. He was knowledgeable, calm, and sure of his abilities, unlike the other attorney I saw that day. When I left the courthouse that day, there were no penalties of any kind. There is nothing on my record, I can still drive wherever and whenever I want (most importantly to work), my insurance won’t become more expensive, and I didn’t have to spend hard earned money on fines.
