5 stars is not even enough for everything that Atty. Amy Dohrendorf and Stewart Law Group has done for my family and I. What seemed like impossible, Atty. Amy and her team have made it all possible. My daughter and I are living examples. Almost a year ago, I started my journey through a very difficult divorce and custody battle. Initially, and before Atty. Amy even came into the picture, it seemed as if my ex won sole legal decision making of my then 5 months old daughter. During these times, it felt as if the world crumbled on me. It was probably the lowest point in my life. Then we met Atty. Amy with Stewart Law Group. I will never forget what Atty. Amy said, "we may have lost the battle, but we will win this war." Fast forward to today, we indeed won. We won every aspect of this legal case. One of these is permanent relocation to my family here in Ohio for my daughter and I. It's worth noting that relocation is difficult to obtain. But guess what, for Atty. Amy and her team, it was not impossible. Yes, she will give you all the reality checks for your case but don't be dismay, she is working tirelessly in the background to achieve the impossible and turn it into reality. I don't know how she does it, but she truly is a heaven sent. Now being in Ohio, it will be hard to find anyone like Atty. Amy and Stewart Law Group. I just hope I would not need any legal service for the next 18 years. Even then, I would still continually seek Atty. Amy's trusted advice. Oh and also, my mom said whoever will be the next man in my life, Atty. Amy will have to approve!

The service was amazing. I am a currently active duty military and I have to be real. It was expensive but every penny was worth it. You get what you pay for and I am glad of my decision. Ms Joan answered every phone call, every email, and gave real and truthful counsel she is down to earth. She took the time to really listen and understand my situation. I worked with Jenny Mihalovich and her paralegal Erica Iglesias-Diaz for almost 2 years on my divorce proceedings. Divorce is never a pleasant experience, but add in that I had a high conflict case and it was a very stressful time. Run far away from this guy he charged absolutely insane prices lied about what I said to the other side showed up 30 mins late for meetings and charged me in excess of 10 grand and only made one 30-45 min court appearance. He has no document preparers so he charges you his Ludacris lawyer fees to file paperwork. This clown is a scam artist run far away

I would 100% recommend Angela Y. Peacock as a family law attorney! I was referred to Angela’s office by another attorney who used Angela in his own family case. His glowing reviews were spot-on. From the beginning to the end of my case, I felt the opposing attorney was outmatched. Angela was detail oriented and always prepared. Her knowledge in family law helped set my expectations and follow the strategy that we had put in motion. My questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner. I retained Angela Peacock to help me finalize my divorce. I would like to thank her and her staff for helping me resolve my complicated and botched divorce filing. I mistakenly thought that I could handle the process myself, and after two years of paperwork and multiple court trips, it was still unfinished. From the time I contacted Angela’s office to the time wherein the judge signed off on the decree was just a few, short weeks. The best lawyer I have ever worked with. Ever. I spent several years in litigation with an ex spouse with three children with different lawyers. He was the only lawyer that I actually knew cared, is realistic and present. I refer him to everyone I know that is going through divorce or child custody issues. He is fair and honest. Where do I begin to rate my experience with Todd Simpson? First I met him in 2019 when I began interviewing attorneys. I was apprehensive because in my first divorce (1993) my attorney did not fight for me and I gave up everything. Todd is honest, affable and above all a good human being. He handled everything with my divorce and after I was assaulted he handled all the paperwork associated with filing a restraining order. He was understanding and patient when I went through the grief phase of not being sure if I wanted to divorce. My divorce was a very complicated and took 1.5 years. Todd's fees were more than reasonable and he listened to what I wanted but also gave me honest feedback in what the best options were. Even though my divorce is over there are some loose ends still needing to be wrapped up and he continues to keep me in the loop with the next steps. I would not hesitate to recommend Todd to anyone divorcing or needing any type of legal matter addressed. For me -- I needed an attorney who would fight for me and my son, but also someone who was a good human being -- Todd is and was both.

I was represented by Josh during my divorce process, with Diane as the paralegal. From day one they were honest and professional. Diane kept in frequent contact and made sure I was always aware of deadlines, etc. with plenty of time to provide them the documents and things they needed. She was always willing to jump in and answer my questions or send me a document or whatever the case might have been. If I asked her something that required legal advice, she didn’t try to give me some guess-type answer, she would tell me flat out that I would need to talk that over with Josh and offer to arrange that meeting. Josh would provide a legal point of view and then what I would call a “real world” point of view for each situation, and then talk me through possible outcomes, what to expect, etc. for every approach or scenario. He never told me I “had to” do this or that, he never tried to influence me one way or the other. He would always give me the facts, offer his advice and then let me ask as many questions as I needed to before making a decision. His approach was never a “this is war, let’s destroy the other person” mentality. He always approached things from a reasonable, level-headed and common sense standpoint and fought for a fair and reasonable resolution for both parties. I don’t have a single complaint or negative thing to say about Josh, Diane, or any of the staff I came in contact with at Edwards & Petersen during the 11 months they represented me. If I ever need their services again, I won’t even look elsewhere before going back to them.

I would highly recommend Brian Peterson with Edwards and Peterson. I interviewed about ten lawyers and after talking to Brian I just knew he was the one to handle my very complex case. He was honest, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He made sure that my voice was heard, and during one of the most stressful times in my life , that made all the difference. Chose this law firm for a family law issue. Initial in-person consult was with Billie, who I thought I was hiring. Afterwards she referred me to a different Lawyer in her firm that she thought would be best. (Kylie) Billie was aware I had a hearing in a months time. I then was asked to go online and put down a retainer, which I did. Then I scheduled a strategy meeting with Kylie through text messages with her assistant? When I showed up for the meeting, they were puzzled and stated Kylie only does virtual work. I explained that I cant do that and said I would reschedule. 15 minutes later (I had barely left the parking lot) I had my entire deposit refunded. No explanation, no rescheduling, nothing. Just an email saying I was refunded. Now I am even closer to my hearing date after they did this. Initial consult was frustrating. Billie seemed pessimistic about helping a Father who had an ex-wife consistently out to get him. After that it was even weirder. They ask you to pay for a program to share files and communication. They send you a link to a questionnaire. When you go to the link, you have to sign up for the software to do it. Then you get welcoming emails from Paralegal's and assistants..never the Attorney. I didnt want to buy software unless I knew it was needed, so they said the attorney would talk to me about it in our meeting. If you're a father I would go elsewhere. If you want to put up a retainer and let them exhaust it on a case easy for them, they will happily oblige. I find it highly unprofessional to refund a retainer and refuse to work with someone because they wanted to reschedule for an in-person strategy session. Especially when the law firm knew there was pending action.

I had one consultation with Mark and before he was even my lawyer he looked at the case and acted as my lawyer and called the opposing lawyer right away to get more details about a ridiculous acquisition i was up against. That moment I Hired Mark as my attorney for a custody/divorce settlement. I worked with Mr. Shields on my family court appeal. He was truly nothing short of amazing. He was kind and patient as I filled him in on the lengthy background of the case.
