This is my first time having Ashley represent me, she helped me SO much! She was really concise with reading and identifying factors in my case. She has a very professional demeanor and was responsive to my emails and questions. I feel she took enough time and helped me with preparedness for trial. I haven’t received my final orders yet, and I’m writing this already because I’m satisfied. With Ashley I felt defended, properly represented and it gave me confidence I needed. Ashley is very intelligent and each one of her staff members are pleasant, she exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend her. I know these reviews are not legitimate. I had been forced to get an attourney just days after my ordeal began to make sure my custody remains in tact. I hired Ashley because she offered a discounted rate and I had I known the poor representation I was getting with that discounted rate, I would have made sure to avoid this attorney at all costs. My concerns were not addressed at all when I specifically asked her to submit evidence of domestic abuse, it was never submitted and I even had them transcribed as she requested me to do. Anytime I called I was alway getting a run around and never getting answers to very specific questions and major issues in my child’s custody case. They knew there was abuse and coercive control from the opposing party and basically did nothing to really defend me or my son from the opposition which was a male attourney, he took my ex’s claims and concerns seriously anf I wish so badly I could have been represented the same way but you are only as good as your money can buy. Ashley anf Hayley her assistant will give you a run around and will ruin your entire case to make a buck. They should be ashamed and I’m leaving this review in hopes to help others from making the mistake I did to trust her. She’s pushed me to make decisions I wasn’t comfortable with and I remember saying “I guess I have no choice...” because I was in court, scared, confused, basically paralyzed, she still pushed me to go to la professional”, Dr. L, and that was a huge mistake. It only benefited her and my ex’s attourney. (More $ for them) This woman participated in making a traumatic experience even worse for me and my 2 year old than I could have ever known because in the moment I was in the darkest time of my life and she only led me down the wrong path rather than helping me fight which is what I should have done. If I had had a better lawyer they would have fought for my son and I, these woman did an embarrassing job on my case. I went to trial completely unprepped with no documents to refer to when I was being questioned about them. It was pathetic professionally and traumatic for me. Not like it matters to them. Even after my ruling came, I wasn’t given proper examination of the ruling to understand it completely. We should have appealed to somethings had they actually looked into it, they didn’t though. I was alone from the start and wouldn’t recommend this firm to my worst enemy.

I very much enjoyed being represented by Ashley Donovan Law during my recent divorce. It was very important to me that the divorce be fair to all involved. Fortunately at this point in our life that was just myself, now ex, and a beautiful 3 year old boxer. Up front Ashley explained where my version of fair may be different than the courts and properly reset expectations. On the other hand Ashley defended me vigorously, and successfully, when the other side went too far. At the end of the day I liked my attorney, liked myself and didn't dislike my ex anymore than before.

I hired Heather, from Bishop Law Office, last March. Heather, and her paralegal Kim, are extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and helped me manage through a challenging divorce without missing a beat. I cannot say enough good things about the Bishop Law Office. Our attorney, Heather Stewart, was the greatest to work with. She was very knowledgeable, always accessible, fearless in court and a joy to work with. Our paralegal, Kimberly Steed, was equally amazing and was very responsive, even when under tremendous pressure. The office manager, Carolyn Keech, was very professional and worked hard to be as flexible as possible regarding the financial side of it all. Between those three people, they made a very difficult family court matter much more bearable. Not sure what we would have done without them. Not very pleased with this law firm. My divorce with no children began 12/19. This firms attorney has not once made a move, she waits for the opposing party to make the next move. Would not recommend!!

I was referred to this office by another out of Albuquerque, I should have called around myself. I think I could have done much better. 1. I now know what an ATLAS # is, as I had to figure that out, lawyer never informed me nor called me back after I left messages for her. 2. I was never told I was a risk or whatever I was considered, so the state is doing auto deductions from my pay after I was told and given instructions for the Clearing House there in the state. Never informed by my lawyer again. 3. I still can’t pay the support I owe to support my daughter (which I don’t have a problem doing), because my SSN was either, not correct from the county or simply never submitted. 4. I believe a call back from the attorney I used through this firm could have assisted by simply returning my call. I personally wouldn’t recommend this firm, but that’s my experience with them. I would hope that someone else would have a better one.

Simon Law Group represented me after I was hit on my motorcycle by an unlicensed and uninsured motorist. I highly recommend Mr. Simon for representation in car accident cases. Him and his whole team were very good at responding any questions and did so sometimes within minutes of an email or call. He was always upfront and honest. He never made promises too big and could be sure that anything he said, he’d do. Do not believe anything that I wrote. We found out the hard way that this attorney does not keep his word. And he stinks as an attorney. He doesn't do what the client wants or needs. My review was done prematurely. Right after we retained him. Do yourself a favor and find an attorney that doesn't double as an ambulance chaser. Matt is the best investment we ever made. My sons ex wouldn't even tell him that his daughter had been born, or if she was dead or alive. As soon as we found out she had been born, Matt wasted no time serving her with papers. He came highly recommended and I can see why. He won't make you break the bank to pay for his services. He's intelligent, caring, professional, a great attorney and wonderful father. I have pestered him with MANY emails and questions. He is always kind and compassionate. And never complains about my simple, sometimes trivial questions. He's a top notch lawyer and person. I would, and have, recommended him to others. I know with his bulldog attitude in court, we will have no problem getting everything we want for visitation. I just can't express enough just what Matt means to us. Very soon my son will get to be the wonderful father he is. Matt is the BEST thing that ever happened to our family. We were referred to Matt by a friend of ours after we had told her how displeased we were with our previous lawyer. I feel like we came to Matt with a hot mess of a situation, but that never seemed to phase him. Matt is attentive, professional, responsive, thorough, honest and a total badass in the court room. He is incredibly fast when it comes to communication and that made things a lot easier on us when we were wanting answers/explanations quickly. Although most things are via video conference right now, watching Matt in front of the judge was amazing and I am sure it would have been even better in an in person setting. To say we are thankful for Matt is an understatement. Hiring him as our attorney was the best decision we ever made. Even if we hadn't won our family case, we knew he did absolutely everything in his power to help us. Matt was highly recommended to my brother and we’re so thankful he was!!! From day one he was very professional, knowledgeable, and responsive to all questions and concerns my brother had. My brothers now ex wife ???? tried to keep his daughter from him and was successful for 5 months until Matt came to the picture. Ex wife had hired, fired and rehired another lawyer fearing the knowledge Matt had after winning temporary orders for my brother. Matt attempted to settle on several occasions with ex’s lawyer with no luck. When trial came once again my brother was granted more then original temp orders granted. My brother will now be able to be in his daughters life. We owe Matt so much for all his time handling ridiculous emails sent from ex’s lawyer and doing so for such an affordable amount. After reviewing what ex paid for her lawyer and my brother paid for Matt......we got what we paid for and more!! Thank you Matt for being an amazing lawyer!!

I was represented by Josh during my divorce process, with Diane as the paralegal. From day one they were honest and professional. Diane kept in frequent contact and made sure I was always aware of deadlines, etc. with plenty of time to provide them the documents and things they needed. She was always willing to jump in and answer my questions or send me a document or whatever the case might have been. If I asked her something that required legal advice, she didn’t try to give me some guess-type answer, she would tell me flat out that I would need to talk that over with Josh and offer to arrange that meeting. Josh would provide a legal point of view and then what I would call a “real world” point of view for each situation, and then talk me through possible outcomes, what to expect, etc. for every approach or scenario. He never told me I “had to” do this or that, he never tried to influence me one way or the other. He would always give me the facts, offer his advice and then let me ask as many questions as I needed to before making a decision. His approach was never a “this is war, let’s destroy the other person” mentality. He always approached things from a reasonable, level-headed and common sense standpoint and fought for a fair and reasonable resolution for both parties. I don’t have a single complaint or negative thing to say about Josh, Diane, or any of the staff I came in contact with at Edwards & Petersen during the 11 months they represented me. If I ever need their services again, I won’t even look elsewhere before going back to them.

I would highly recommend Brian Peterson with Edwards and Peterson. I interviewed about ten lawyers and after talking to Brian I just knew he was the one to handle my very complex case. He was honest, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He made sure that my voice was heard, and during one of the most stressful times in my life , that made all the difference. I had a very difficult case and Brian beat all the odds. I couldn’t have been happier with Brian and his paralegal Nicole. They were both so kind and patient. You wont find another lawyer that will fight as hard for you, or that will display the type of dedication, and compassion, the way Brian does .

I am so disappointed in the service I received from this firm. The attorney that was supposed to represent me would not respond for days or sometimes a week, he filed a motion incorrectly not highlighting critical points that I found out from other council are necessary after the motion got thrown out because it lacked information it needed that Mr. C**** said wasn’t necessary. Furthermore, he was VERY unprofessional in how he dealt with opposing council, making me look bad. All for no reason. In the end, I was several thousand dollars out and gained nothing. I just wanted help, and got the worst possible alleged representation. I am shocked to see so many good reviews for this firm. I am assuming that this is not the norm????

Fantastic: I meet with Joy Parker in reference to a very difficult and complex situation. I also was doing emotional guy things. I appreciated Miss.Parker upfrontness and her assistances. We spent the entire morning in Court and then had quite the rodeo due to the complex nature of my case. However, Miss.Parker was there for me and did not run out after court. She took the extra mile of making sure we had our ducks in a row. We had to combined our different knowledges of the systems to finish the job just due to the complex nature of the situation. We did it and I would not without a doubt hesitate to tell someone to contact Miss.Parker in legal matter or ask her for referral. Again, knowledgeable, confident and just good people and stellar customer service skills.

Having to use a family law lawyer is always not the best situation. You never want to experience divorce especially with children and sometimes even the aftermath of parenting plans you need help in adjusting those. I live out of state so it added a whole other level of stress finding the “right” lawyer. We came across this firm and had a consultation. From the first interaction i just felt extremely blessed to find them. It was a consistent fight with the ex and I prayed for the right lawyer and we came across this law firm. Shawnna, Amanda and maya all worked with us (mostly maya) and man they are amazing. Their knowledge of the law is superior, they are very responsive to emails and questions and most importantly they are not just lawyers that take your money. I felt they were very very honest in their opinions and guidance. I’m just very happy with their work and how much they helped us. Especially since my ex’s counsel is nothing but ruthless and about the “win” not the best welfare for the children. This law firm is exceptional, knowledgeable and professional and truly has the kids best interest at heart, which is what we should all want in hard times. I highly recommend Mrs. Zofia Rawner's advocacy's skills. I can say this since I shared a case with her involving a child dependency case involving an Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) case. She did an outstanding job to ensure the parent was given "due process" as well as ensure "all facts" were presented before the presiding judge. She always completed her homework before the next court hearing to ensure all concerns areas are addressed. In this particular case, with her advocacy skills, the parent was able to regain custody of her children and move on with their lives. Mrs. Rawner is very knowledgeable of the ICWA of 1978 and the Placement Preference. I'm very grateful for her assistance. We need more attorneys like her especially on ICWA cases. I had one consultation with Mark and before he was even my lawyer he looked at the case and acted as my lawyer and called the opposing lawyer right away to get more details about a ridiculous acquisition i was up against. That moment I Hired Mark as my attorney for a custody/divorce settlement. I worked with Mr. Shields on my family court appeal. He was truly nothing short of amazing. He was kind and patient as I filled him in on the lengthy background of the case.
