H Bui Law was a wonderful find. Not that I am always on the market for lawyers. I used them to do my Will and Trust and had no issues. I have never used an attorney before and very nervous even thought in this case I did nothing wrong. It's a lawyer thing and it never leaves you head. All in all, the team here did a wonderful job. Their staff was always helpful and returned call promptly. I do have to say one thing, most of the time it was my fault that things were delayed. Worst attorney in Los Angeles, she charged me $5000 dollars upfront without even showing once to court, her filing fees are ridiculous. The day before my hearing, she called me in her office just to have her accountant asking for another $5000, she delayed my hearing for an additional 3 months. This attorney abandoned my case for one month, missed several court appearances and did not tell me and at the end she said be prepared to pay alimony and child support. Please, do not pay your retainer in full like I did, don’t make the mistake I’ve made. I started with the Graves Law Firm for my divorce in October 2016 and in April 2020 still no divorce. I’m done with this Law Firm. This should have been an easy case because I wasn’t going back and forgot with my wife on anything. I would make calls to the law office about my case, get charge for the calls, and nothing happens but deductions off my retainer. Next, I paid $4.50 to LA County Court online for a copy of my case record, and discovered Attorney Graves was filing for continuations for years without my knowledge. She is no different than a shady home contractor. She wasted over 3 years of my time and over $11,000 of my money that I can’t get back. Now I have to go though Self-Help with the local courts. Update: Represented myself and divorce finalized on 03/10/2021.
