I  hired Tigran Palyan at the ending of my case after hiring 2 attorneys who mess up everything. I wish I had hired him at the beginning. I can't say he is a cheap attorney but whatever he charges compared to his job it is worth it. He is very honest and is a man who tries to help both sides to make a fair decision which I can't say to my ex's attorney who was only thinking about his profit. After hiring Tigran my ex's attorney understood that it's time to leave the case and he can't make more money by extending the hearings. Even my ex said thank you to Tigran after finalizing the case. I would recommend all couples to hire Mr Palyan as a mediator to get a fair decision for both sides instead of spending thousands of dollars on different attorneys.

I was referred to Cary by Steven Mindel to review my palimony case for viability. My legal situation is very complicated nearly 5 years later & 4 lawsuits between my ex & myself, so I knew it wouldn’t be “quick” or “easy” getting Cary caught up enough to decipher the situation, but I very clearly understand now why he is a difficult man to get a hold of, & why his hourly rate is as high as it is - because Cary is worth it. I walked in not expecting to get as much time, respect, information, support & truth as he kindly provided me with. I arrived with a sheet of paper that drew/listed out, each of the lawsuits: the case number, judge, date filed & complaints, organized chronologically. Cary spent about an hour with myself & a trusted family friend deciphering the overall situation & the best strategy moving forward. He told us what he knew about judges & other lawyers & their demeanours, he used his own past cases as examples to help us understand how he would arrive at his opinions. Ultimately, he told us the truth. It wasn’t necessarily enjoyable to hear (that basically everything I’ve already lost is lost forever & most likely will just get worse) & he agreed that none of this is by any means fair… but it was realistic & honest, & I can’t imagine a greater gift from an attorney. Altogether, Cary said it was not in my best interest to move forward on this case - that Cary could take my money at an hourly rate, but he didn’t feel the emotional & financial expenses were worth it. When I told him that I didn’t care if I spent every last dollar paying him just to drag my ex through some of the horrors my ex has dragged me through time & again, Cary calmly brought me back down to grown-up Earth: “That isn’t a good way of looking at it.” He reminded me that I’m still young enough to let this go & enjoy my life, & after a few tears, I felt lighter & good about letting this case (& everything else I’ve lost in these terrible 5 years)... go. Cary is patient, clear, kind, extremely knowledgeable, well-connected in the Los Angeles County court system, professional, realistic, & unexpectedly he also has a dry, lovely sense of humour in stolen moments. I would have felt proud & grateful to have him representing me. In my experience & interactions with him, I truly found Cary Goldstein to be a good man & a brilliant lawyer.

Rozanna Velen is an excellent family law attorney. Look at her retainer as a long term investment-you pay a bit now, but save a bunch in the long run. Rozanna will give the facts and law to you straight, and let you know your options and risks. There are not many attorneys who will tell you to take a route that will make her less money...but that's how much of a straight shooter she is. I've sent dozens of people over to Rozanna. She is a respected professional in the legal community. She has obtained excellent results for myself, my friends and associates- including someone who originally (before retaining Rozanna) agreed to pay their spouse $80k...but after hiring Rozanna my friend RECEIVED $80k from their spouse. (Don't try to do a divorce alone if you have assets.) Some family attorneys are sleazebags who wring every drop of $ out of their client, bully, yell and scream at opposing parties, and don't care about the welfare of the child or adults involved. All major life decisions are difficult and making the decision to divorce my ex-wife was by far one of the most challenging decisions and experiences I’ve ever endured. My divorce from my ex-wife should not have been a complicated one, but my ex-wife and her “super lawyer” wanted to make it a long, drawn out and costly experience with the hope that by deploying underhanded delay tactics and never ending, senseless requests that my ex would be successful in stopping me from 50/50 legal and physical custody of my daughter, as well as other key divorce areas. It has been over 60 days since I have last seen my baby, and I had been oblivious to my rights, after working with Mr.Duron we were blind sided by a restraining order, after serving the mother of my child, we had to prepare quickly and we did so. We won the case and the restraining order was denied, he and his team has helped me so much throughout this process and I would suggest them out of anyone. Best pricing as well! I had Paul on my case and not only did he not respond to me as much as promised but he failed to succeed in my case then put a new person on my case without any information about me or even notifying me first then went to court and caused me to loose everything I gained nothing but a very bad experience that caused me to only have viking rights and loose all access to my child now I have to do even more running around just to see her most horrible lawyer office ever don't waist your money I don't recommend this office to anybody they are liars and they don't listen its a waist of time and money!!!!!! They should close this office down:/

If I could give zero stars to this business I would. He told me my case was going to be very simple. Here I am still waiting after 1.5 years of absolutely nothing. He’s unorganized, unprofessional. Almost doesn’t know what he is doing for a basic case. He doesn’t communicate, stay in touch and or they don’t have an open door policy. If you go to their office, the door is always locked which now I understand is a red flag. He tells you he’ll call, he won’t. He didn’t show up to court on my hearing date and didn’t even let me know that he didn’t go. His assistance is the same mess as well. I’m still having to chase him to give me a response or an update about my case, he doesn’t give me copies of whatever he gets from the court. if I have to check my case on the court’s website why did I pay this guy as my lawyer. He got me out of money, he doesn’t look out for my good and he keeps leaving me hanging. I do not recommend his business to anyone, take your money and business to someone else.

If you are reading this I’m sorry you have to hire an attorney but I am begging you to not hire this one. He may be cheap compared to other attorneys in California. But I repeat DO NOT HIRE HIM. I paid him 3,500 as a retainer for my divorce and that was a year ago and I’ve only been married for 2 years. There were court hearings that he didn’t even tell me about. There were court hearings were he didn’t even show up and sent a woman I have never met or seen before. It was actually very embarrassing when we went in for court and the attorney didn’t have a clue about my case. My divorce could have BEEN over had he adequately fought for me, showed up to court hearings and answered my phone calls and emails. I damn near had to harass him for information about my case.. if you do decide to hire him just pay attention to how messy and disorganized his office is

My story is quite simple but serves as a cautionary tale for all single parents going through legal difficulties within the family law system. Five years ago, I was advised to seek mediation services as I was going through divorce proceedings. The advice I received was to be a 'nice guy', work with the other parent in order to resolve issues, create a mutually fair court order and seek child development services from third parties. But, after going down that road for many years and realizing that my father's rights were being trampled upon and outright ignored, I finally had enough and decided to seek the services of Michael Nathans. My results may be an outlier, but within 8 weeks, we had a court date, documents prepared, forms filed and everything finalized. I was able to obtain 50-50 custody of my son along with resolving many issues that had previously been ignored. We now had a signed court order that was fair and I attribute this amazing outcome solely to Michael's hard work, diligence, tremendous speed and work ethic. After availing myself of his services, I realized that I had made a mistake previously (with the other mediator). My son and I wasted many years of our lives trying to seek a fair outcome. Michael is no doubt an exceptionally brilliant and highly skilled lawyer that I have came across. The way he leads the case in the court is truly impressive. His strategy on each aspect of the case is crystal clear and his execution plan focuses on meeting all the client needs. He doesn’t leave any minute details and bring up solid arguments throughout the trial to prove his point. I do like his strategy of bringing up out of the box ideas and thinking beyond the case to find out more information which we never thought of before.
