If I could give more stars, I would. Tamara literally saved my life from a dangerous predator. She knew exactly how to guide me through the process and made sure I understood everything before proceeding on to the next issue, and was always very straightforward and honest. Mine was a very long and drawn-out process due to the level of psychosis of the other party involved, and Tamara definitely went above and beyond to keep me safe and ensure that my property remained in my possession. She worked when she was sick, pulled all-nighters and hustled over the holidays to ensure my safety. She made sure I received the maximum amount of protection from the courts, and even helped me regain some of the legal fees. She truly cares for her clients and it shows. I know she had lots of other cases besides mine but she always made me feel as though she was always there for me, and always responded immediately in an emergency, no matter the hour. She is truly what a great attorney is SUPPOSED to be. I always felt confident with her support, and believe me when I say that you will do well to trust her. Addendum 07/18/2021: Well unfortunately I was in the position where I had to hire an attorney again because of the same vexatious litigant, but I am so grateful to have Tamara on my side! I looked at the reviews and they were really good so gave her a call to help me with my divorce case and she made an appointment and the consultation was $425 when there are other people who do free consultation. It was alot but she told me she would put it on my retainer fee. So we made an appointment with her and she said her secretary would send me an email to confirm and they never did. That was a red flag. But I gave her a chance and I called again to send the email and they did. Then we made an appointment. I was ready for my appointment and they cancelled on me when I payed the consultation already. We made another appointment. She was late for our new appointment and she called and she cut me off because she needed to "order lunch for her son for school." And I was like what kind of professionalism is this? Then I let her do what she needed to do which took like 30 minutes but it was fine because I'm also a mother but she could've done that before our appointment. At that point I regretted paying her. I asked how much I was going to pay to finish my divorce and she said $10,000. I was like omg to just finish? I thought it would be 2500 or something. I asked her for some of my money back because she didn't even anything and everything was incorrect and she started arguing with me when I didn't get my full hour consultation either. I thought everything would be fine but paying her in the first place was a big mistake. Shes not professional at all I don't recommend her. There are other people who give free consultation and do a good job unlike Tamara.

Tamara knew exactly how to guide me from the first day she reviewed my situation. And even though court matters can take a while to settle in your favor, her advice was in alignment with what I needed to gain justice in a horrible situation. My situation was really bad because I lacked representation initially and had made mistakes of my own. I am overjoyed now that I did what she advised because it was such an enormous gain for me. So, thanking Tamara for what she did for me over time. She showed tremendous dedication in getting my visitation expanded and mapping out a way for me to gain my custodial rights back!! Save yourself the trouble please this is not a 5 star firm by any means. They are very expensive for a below average representation. Mane(attorney) my girlfriends representative failed to execute many things during court. She is young and extremely inexperienced. Look elsewhere. We were not happy with the results. This is an unbiased honest review.

I highly recommend Deborah Soleymani for divorce and family law. She is extremely efficient and covers every aspect of your case with a fine tooth comb. She cares deeply and makes you feel as if you have a good friend on your side that has your back. She is very strong when dealing with opposing counsel when needed, and also has a very approachable personality that makes it very easy to converse with her. I believe she is exceptional. In a time when I was very vulnerable, she made my divorce procedure easier and was of great help to me.

I want to praise Partner, Patrick Baghdaserians, for his work as mediator at the courthouse. I wish I had found him to represent me during my divorce. He is a much better lawyer than the ones I hired and fired. They didn't help me; he did. He was professional, nice, confident, patient, helpful. I assumed these mediators worked for the court, but he's a volunteer! One more reason to hire him!

What can I say about Maryam? She is absolutely the best attorney I could have found. I am so lucky to have found her. She is very calm and collected when dealing with you. However, she's as tough as nails with the other side. She resolved my custody issues almost immediately. And that was just the beginning! Maryam would have settled my case in less than a year had the other side not dragged their feet. In the end I got everything I wanted! WARNING: simple divorce cost 38,000 dollars. Never went to court once. I was told I was family and would never hurt me. Well he did. My sister just passed away he did her final papers. My brother in law recommended him to me. I hired him for a certain amount of money but he decided to hand my case to another lawyer. Not telling me that she was going to charge me over 300.00 dollars an hour. There was many mistakes made many. I found out I was divorced from my kids. No call from my lawyer just and email that he charged me for but the email was way after the divorce was final. I have met with 4 lawyers who are sad that these kind of lawyers give them a bad name. Office staff will tell u he will be in the office today, a week later he will call u and say I was on vacation. Happens 6 times. Also he had 5 different people working on a divorce which means you pay all 5. Very unorganized overpriced lawyer. I would not recommend ANYONE to use this company. He didn't get anything for me other than the state law requires. Feeling ripped off taken advantage of. I stopped getting billing statements as soon as soon as he got a 40,000 lean against my home. He always said He would find out why no billing statements but of course never did. He made sure he used it all. Be very careful who u choose for a lawyer even if they say there family. Choose wisely!! Didn't finish my case the 38,000 did NOT cover the QDRO. Separation of retirement. Wanted a 1,000 to do it. Got it done for 300.00 by a respectable paralegal. If you need a lawyer call the BBB they will recommend you someone who will not RIP u off feeling defeated. Please choose wisely!!! Sterns and Sterns took a quarter of my earnings. Only got what the state law says so I could have hired anybody. Just beware!!!!! I also had a budget BUT he decided to stop billing me so he took off with my budget! Also paid to get my ex-husband's paychecks garnished and paid Ryan for it. I paid for it but it never happened. I will continue to tell people please call the BBB they will get you a lawyer and not take your money. Now that I have used Ryan and two other lawyers and a paralegal I know for sure that sterns and sterns over charged me by thoudands. I was told that $38,000 was way too much for what I got. Ryan made an agreement with me over the phone for a certain amount of money and decided to change All on his own. Please think about who you were hiring even if they say they are family look into their business find out not who they are as a person who they are as a businessman. I trusted him and so did my family but he has lost more respect than he will ever know. I just want people to be aware and know what they're getting and just because somebody says their family get it in writing. I tried to talk to Ryan and resolve this. He wouldn't budge he hardly had anything to say because he knew he was wrong. My new lawyer would have charged me at the very most $15,000. So just remember that when you go to look for a lawyer remember what Stearns and Stearns did to me and probably others too. Lawyers aren't rock stars! So years later I see all the charges I did not get sevice for. Beware call the BBB. Don't you think your lawyer would go over the divorce papers with you.? No no nothing he mailed me my divorce papers and never spoke to me about what I was getting. Also he never ever checked in to make sure my name was off the house loan. He really really screwed me over and if I were you I would not use him as a lawyer. Please look it up this lawyer has been disciplined by the licensing authorities. Look it up.

I can't say enough nice things about the lawyers at Stearns Kim & Stearns who helped me. I knew I couldn't afford a costly divorce, and they handled it beautifully. Ryan Stearns was really helpful in explaining to me how to get our property divided and support established, and even outlined a budget to get it done. He did explain to me that he couldn't guarantee staying on this budget, since litigation can be unpredictable, but I appreciated that he was upfront and honest about that. Fortunately they were able to keep my case on budget! I really liked how straightforward Mr. Stearns’ and his lawyers were, they were all so helpful! Loe Chaelee, one of the associates and who worked closely with me, was an absolute rock star!

I retained Rocky Elkaddoum as our lawyer when my ex husband asked for a post-judgement modification of child custody and visitation order. From the first initial consultation we felt that Rocky and his team would fight for us. Due to COVID our meetings were all phone calls but they were always consistent and timely. Jonathan Parkavan represented me and my children in a move away case. He has an exemplary understanding of Family Law, and was able to communicate with me so I fully understood the process and the seriousness of my case. I was dealing with a lengthy divorce with a very difficult ex-spouse that used every delay tactic available to her, driving up the costs of attorney fees and dragging out the proceedings for over two years before I decided to switch law firms and retain the Law Offices of Jonathan Pakravan. Within the course of a year, he was able to finalize my divorce and adjust my child support all while doing it with integrity and respect towards opposing counsel. That is something my previous attorney was not able to do! A process that I thought would never end and with opposing counsel unable to communicate or compromise, Jonathan Pakravan did everything I asked him to do and would be my first choice for anyone looking for a family law attorney. I understand Randy is one of the best attorneys out there but I would like to leave my honest review. I contacted Randys office to discuss my case his assistant or girl answering the phone said she would call me back, i waited 2 days and no call back. I then called his office back and i explained that I never got a call back and she lied to me and said she called me back and another guy answered the phone and said that he wasn't interested which was false since I am the only person who answers my calls. She then made an appointment for me to talk to Randy. I discussed my case with him and he said he would email me a retainer agreement as soon as he had time. Two weeks later and still didn't receive it and time is of the essence. I called his office again and explained to his secretary that I never received retainer agreement, she then said she would call me back. Two days later no call back so I emailed Randy letting him know that nobody has gotten back to me and his assistant is not doing very well with following up or calling back. He said I thought you were not interested and then went on to tell me he was no longer available during my court date. I wish they would have had better communication skills. I heard Randy is one of the absolute best but the offices communication skills are terrible. Good luck.

After reading the negative reviews of Mr. Medina, I felt compelled to write a review myself. Mr. Medina is a top notch attorney. I found that he was very attentive and listened as I related details of my mistake of a marriage. I initially tried to go pro per, but as I did not know what I was doing and my ex had a pretty savvy attorney, I was fighting a losing battle. I decided that I would have to hire an attorney myself. After doing some extensive research and had a couple of consultations, I decided my best bet was to hire Mr. Medina. Needless to say I’m a very happy camper. Not only did Mr. Medina help me keep my house, I was also able to keep my 401k and other sentimental valuables. I recommend Mr. Medina 100%. You absolutely will not regret it.

This attorney does not do what he says. I hired him for my son’s custody case years ago, did nothing but cost me a lot of money. He went in/out of court not giving attention to my son’s case. Do not hire him , look elsewhere. He called me a “fake” among other things on Yelp. He ask my attorney to have me remove the review. I attached my case no# so you can understand I’m not fake. Just learn from other people’s mistakes. There are some great attorneys likewise some that offer the world, but really just cost you.

Wow, I am speechless on the experience i have with this attorney. I went in and the first thing that comes out is "Im not sure if I can help you." Keep in mind I haven't even explain the reason for my visit. I have hired other attorneys before and I came to him because he has awards and I figured he can do some good. My reason of the visit was because i want to extend my time with my son's. It is very disappointing and sad on how I was treated. He basically belittled me in front of my son. Please see other attorneys before you decide to go here. I can say more but my son wants pancakes.

Awesome Layer ! He is a really good Lawyer. I had false allegations , kyle did a great job in dealing with this. The judge finally exposed her and told her that she has "serious credibility issues ".
