I was referred to Maya's firm by a friend and am very grateful for it. Maya represented me in a custody situation with my ex-husband. She and her staff did an excellent job and were both understanding and responsive to my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Maya to anyone needing counsel in a family law case. I had a great phone consultation with Maya where I went over the details of a post nuptial agreement I needed her services on. She gave me her fee over the phone and I told her I would get back to her as soon as my husband's lawyer had the agreement ready. Cut to 2 months later, I called Maya back to engage her services and it was like I was speaking to a completely different person. Unfortunately, she hadn't taken any notes during our initial consultation and couldn't recall most of what we had discussed. When I started to remind her of our conversation she proceeded to gaslight me in the most condescending rude manor. When you're hiring a lawyer for support on sensitive personal matters, and it's going to cost you a lot of money, the last thing anyone needs is a talking down to. I'm glad Maya showed me her true colors and I was able to save myself the headache of working with her. -- Response from the owner "Dear Ms. Benitez, thank you for taking the time to post. I have been professionally associated with Maya Shulman for nearly 20 years, and I have worked directly in consultation with many of her clients. I have always found her to be a consummate professional who takes her clients' needs seriously. She is a straight-shooter, and that might be off-putting to clients who think an attorney is supposed to be a hand-holder. Her clients (with whom I have consulted) have always felt she knew the law and gave them the best representation possible. Being that she is a Certified Family Law Specialist, her clients are involved in a divorce proceeding and/or custody battle. These are highly contentious and stress-provoking processes, and clients who are unhappy tend to blame their attorney. Bad reviews (sour grapes) are damaging not only for the recipient but also for the reviewer who has no ability to take responsibility for their role in the process. I was referred to Provinziano & Associates by my family lawyer here in Arizona because of their expertise in jurisdiction. Me and my ex had an informal written agreement that our kids would live with me in AZ through the school year and visit him in CA on school breaks. On spring break of this year, my ex did not put my kids back on the plane home and ghosted me for 2 days. Because of jurisdictional issues, I needed a CA attorney to represent me and make the case that my kids are residents of AZ so we could have our case here. My lawyer, Al; and his paralegal Ava have made my life easier knowing that my case was in such great hands. They are professional, responsive, and so far everything has gone in our favor. I would highly recommend them in any custody or jurisdictional case. I wish I could have them represent me here in AZ for the remainder of my case! I had a very simple divorce matter that my husband decided to make more difficult and everyone in the firm went out of their way to help me, from giving me the best advice long before I retained their services to following through all the way to the end. Everyone to a person has been overly kind, considerate and helpful. I found the fees reasonable and even during this COVID 19 period, I appreciate the work and effort the law firm gives me. I retained Castellanos & Associates in 2013. I was married for over 24 years. I had thought the case would be simple as we did not have any minor children. My husband had a good job and a pension. However, I was wrong. The case became very toxic. My ex hired a lawyer and wanted to fight about everything we owned, including not wanting to pay support. At one point, he told me that he wanted to leave me with nothing. Thank god for attorney Edwin Castellanos and his staff. They fought for me and made sure I received everything I was legally entitled to. My case lasted five years because my Husband would not settle and wanted to litigate everything. Mr. Castellanos has a very busy practice and is often in Court, but he explained that to me when I first hired him. I could have gone with another lawyer, but Mr. Castellanos was very patient with me and explained the entire process to me. I never felt that he had something else to do when he was with me. Even though my husband hired a very aggressive lawyer to intimidate me. I would say his lawyer was a loudmouth. Mr. Castellano's knowledge of family law won over the Judge. I found out through this case that it's not who is louder but smarter. I won my case because of the excellent work and preparation of Castellanos & Associates. Since my case ended, I have referred Edwin Castellanos to various friends and family, and I heard that they had received the same level of representation that I got. I wanted to write this review because I want other people going through the same thing I went through to get the best possible legal representation I got. I recommend entirely Castellanos & Associates.

Horrible service. Felt like he was on my husbands side the whole time. Wasted $5000 on nothing. I had to keep calling to see what was happening with my case. Could not confine in him. Charged me for ridiculous work, calls and emails. I ended up going back with my husband and stopped the divorce/case. I suggest a real lawyer. My husbands, Gille Kaye Law Group, PC . Pasadena CA. Great people nice and actually wanna do the work and help. They even gave back my husband his half deposit back $2,700. Unlike these people rip off, there only in it for the money.

We had multiple cases to face while Michael was representing me, and we literally won all of them. He maintained good communication an always worked with me when it came to money. Not once did he stress me about paying him etc. He fought for my daughter and I, and I could not thank him enough. It was a very stressful situation for many reasons, and having Michael represent me made me feel at ease, ESPECIALLY after the first hearing and seeing how well he prepped etc. We went up against a “high rated” attorney etc with a great amount of experience, and it looked like Michael was the one with decades of experience and confidence. I cannot speak highly enough of Whitmarsh Family Law. Michael has continuously gone above and beyond to provide the best service for me. When I first retained Michael as my attorney I was in a really tough spot and needed some legal help on an extremely tight timeline. He was able to make time for me right away and I was in his office preparing paperwork and within a couple hours of contacting him. He continued to work on my case well into the evening to make sure that everything was done correctly and ready to be filed with the court in the morning. He walked me through the process step by step and made sure I understood and was comfortable with each decision. He has continued to provide this level of service for almost 2 years now as my case continues to progress. He promptly responds to any emails or calls and is very good about checking in with me from time to time to make sure I don’t have any questions or need anything. From his work it is obvious the amount of care and attention he puts into everything he does. I  hired Tigran Palyan at the ending of my case after hiring 2 attorneys who mess up everything. I wish I had hired him at the beginning. I can't say he is a cheap attorney but whatever he charges compared to his job it is worth it. He is very honest and is a man who tries to help both sides to make a fair decision which I can't say to my ex's attorney who was only thinking about his profit. After hiring Tigran my ex's attorney understood that it's time to leave the case and he can't make more money by extending the hearings. Even my ex said thank you to Tigran after finalizing the case. I would recommend all couples to hire Mr Palyan as a mediator to get a fair decision for both sides instead of spending thousands of dollars on different attorneys.

My name is Hong. My child was taken away by an adoption agency in December 2019 without my consent. The child's mother unilaterally gave up the child. The adoption agency took away the child without any legal basis and refused to return the child. Because my mother tongue is not English, I have difficulty seeking legal help. When I was most helpless, the court recommended H Bui Law Firm. The firm provides service in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Vietnamese. With the help of Hannah Bui, Lindsay Johns, and Wenyi Zhang, Danielle Leon, Emily Sabillon, I finally won the victory. My child was returned back to me. Hannah learned of my financial difficulties, but never give up on me and fought for me. I am very grateful. The firm’s professionalism and efficiency in litigation are the best. H Bui Law was a wonderful find. Not that I am always on the market for lawyers. I used them to do my Will and Trust and had no issues. I have never used an attorney before and very nervous even thought in this case I did nothing wrong. It's a lawyer thing and it never leaves you head. All in all, the team here did a wonderful job. Their staff was always helpful and returned call promptly. I do have to say one thing, most of the time it was my fault that things were delayed. I rarely write reviews but in this case I believe this firm merits an applause for what they have done. It was pretty painless in my book.

I've used Richard for multiple judgment collection matters for my clients. He is very reasonable with his rates, works quickly, efficiently, and effectively, and always communicates promptly. He is very experienced in the area of judgment collection and knows many different tactics and strategies to collect judgments from even the most tricky of debtors. Richard is aggressive with his collection tactics and is not deterred by the usual games and defenses that debtors use. A voice of reason, a teacher, and an amazing teammate! Not exactly the first thing you expect to hear from a divorce lawyer… “I know this is bad for business, but have you tried marriage counseling?” Mr. Bigler came highly recommended, but I was certainly caught off guard when he asked me this during the first meeting! I tell you this for two reasons: it shows that he wants what is best for the people involved, and he is not afraid to tell you the truth, even if it is not what you want to hear. (…and yes, we had years of marriage counseling.) Following that meeting was the initial divorce, followed by another custody case over a year later. Mr. Bigler defended me and my children against multiple false accusations. He stood up for our best interests. He taught me how to have the courage necessary to handle life as a single mom, and that I’m intelligent enough and have every right to defend myself and my children against lies. His sound advice is still ringing in my ears, and I’m very grateful for it. I know I paid him, but I feel like I gained a friend.

If you want an attorney who is smart, aggressive, attentive to you your needs. Then Mr. Biggler is your man. I run a visitation monitoring company and have worked with many attorneys in my 30 year career. I love when I see that the clients get positive results.
