I highly recommend Jason and Cory. Jason was my attorney after I caught my ex-husband having an affair. I personally knew Cory McConnell, and he referred me to Jason keep things unbiased. Jason jumped right in and within days I had all the necessary paperwork filed. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! I initially spoke to Zephyr Hill who agreed to be my attorney. However, when he sent me the retainer agreement he switched me without notice to Michael Steiner- WHO IS A HORRIBLE ATTORNEY! I should have dropped them then. Basically Steiner would respond to emails and phone calls sporadically at best and when you speak to him he seems to have his mind elsewhere. The last straw was when he agreed to file an ex parte on my behalf, however, after I followed up with him days later he tells me " I decided not to file it." No explanation for not communicating this to me. I will be filing a complaint with the state bar. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

In the middle of a crisis, like a divorce where you need a lawyer, you need someone who can help you make sense of just about everything. Lowenstein Brown does just that! Michele and Liz are an incredible team, and they have a wonderful support staff! They focus on your goals and what you want (they like to point out “it is your life, and when we are gone you have to be happy with this”). They lay out the process and expectations very clearly. They work well with support counsel and outside specialists. You expect your lawyers to be good at the law – it was a wonderful experience to find two people who also have great compassion and sensitivity to what you are going through. They care and it shows in how they and their staff treat you from the first meeting to the last. I highly recommend Michele Lowenstein and Liz Brown.

Liz Brown represented my ex (I was pro per at the time), and lied to the judge about ownership of my daughter's college account. She told the judge that it was owned jointly by my husband and me, attempting to seize the funds for reunification costs. After I retained counsel, my lawyer was able to show the judge the documentation (which the judge himself had signed a few months prior) that proved that the college account was legally owned by my daughter. My ex was fined $2,000 for the lie. Liz Brown was not honest, inflicting on me an unnecessary court hearing to have to fight for my daughter's college fund. I would never recommend this lawyer, unless you want someone willing to lie and cheat for you.

I researched and spoke with several law firms before carefully selecting Lowenstein Brown. I needed to be certain that the firm I selected could handle a complicated family matter. In my first meeting with Michele, Liz and their support staff, I knew I had selected the very best attorneys to handle my case. Their ability to communicate the necessary steps, combined with their empathy and compassion, were more than I could possibly have hoped for. The entire staff was available any time I had a question or concern. Where the opposing counsel was sloppy and slow, Michele and Liz were fastidious and timely. If you are uncertain about who to select to represent you, look no further, Lowenstein Brown is the firm I would highly recommend.

Couple years of ago we have problem first with our adoption being contested. We got through with that issue with excellent help from Atty Lowenstein & Brown. Then it became an visitation rights issue and again with professional assistance from both Attys now we able to have a peace of mind. We have interviewed couple of lawyers but decided to hire them because we felt comfortable talking to them and gave us the real scope of the case with no promises. Also, the staff are very professional especially Katina. They are in constant contact with us with changes or need for more information.

I highly recommend Tara Yelman and her team. I used Yelman & Associates in my divorce. She was ethical, provided outstanding advice through this trying time, and I found her billing to be transparent and highly efficient. I found her to always be better prepared than her opposing counsel. She was always the one to recommend creative ways to resolve negotiation sticking points. And her knowledge of the law and judicial procedure in court was outstanding -- helping to shorten the process and work with me and my ex to find solutions that worked for both of us. Even after the proceedings, she has provided ongoing guidance for how to manage the issues that pop up post divorce -- which has been crucial in helping my family move on from the process. Again, I highly recommend.

Hands down all the way for Tara Yelman. She was g-d sent. A true attorney who wants the best for their client. I've met with other lawyers prior to retaining her. There are a lot of attorneys who are just there for your money and don't want to work hard including after hours, holidays, weekends. They just want to settle and take the easy way out. Unlike, Tara she put her 110% into your case and her expert advice is incredible. She's worth every PENNY! She works nights, weekends and even holidays if there is something serious. Remember folks, stuff happens when its after "office hours" or you get served for an Emergency hearing on Friday at 4 pm to appear in court on Monday or Tuesday morning. You have to be ready for whatever comes your way! Tara ,you are the best including your right hand Geoff and others!!

I went through a "very challenging" divorce with 4 children that kept me in court for a decade on and off. I used another firm with two different lawyers and was able to measure how effective they were as compared with Sara @ Yelman. Without hesitation, I can say Sara and her team were twice as effective at half the cost. I cannot begin to express the complexity of my situation, but it was challenging given the circumstances. Unfortunately I became fairly experienced at the process, language and arguments used in my cases over the past 10 years. I've seen the quality of the arguments made on my behalf and Sara always had clear thoughts and rational behavior with opposing counsel and the court. The team at Yelman did great work. Most important in this process is the cost. Clients are often driven apart by their lawyers, which benefits only the firms involved. Trust me -- I experienced this before Yelman, as did my ex. Sara did not inflame for the benefit of further court actions (and therefore fees). She protected me as a client but was always rational about the options presented to me concerning my decisions. Moving to Yelman over the past 4 years was the best financial choice I made over this extraordinarily challenging phase of my life. I am so grateful for their representation and guidance, and I highly recommend them for complex family law representation.

Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about Michelle Paul was nothing was ever "sugar coated". She was very straight forward and told me what to expect each step of the way. Going thru the separation and divorce process from start to finish, Michelle kept me informed of each step and what the options were and what the risks were. There were no empty promises made just to keep the client happy which I know sometimes occurs when seeking counsel. Even though I filed for divorce, 6 months later I had a change of heart and decided to have Michelle stop the divorce two weeks before going to court. Michelle and her team were my legal representation in 2017 when she pulled an almost impossible task to gain custody of my 2 kids and a move away outside the United States. I was going through a contentious divorce that involved a restraining order, asset split, child custody and spousal support settlements. It was a pleasure working with Braunstein LAW, APC on my divorce. We had a consensual divorce, uncontested. However, we also had an unusual custom alimony arrangement to make it so. Alana made the process no fuzz, and made it within the deadline to still get the old tax laws. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that my anxiety early on in the process was high, and it sometimes felt that responsiveness did not match my anxiety. However, in hindsight, I think this was more my problem than theirs. It all was done such as to be maximally efficient, and minimally waste my or their time. I'd go back to them if I had another legal issue.

Stay away from this Attorney !!!! I swear, this is the worst attorney I have ever dealt with. I hired Sami for my divorce case since June 2020 as he recommended by Yelp in San Diego area. From that time until now (May 2021) Sami has done nothing except submit the divorce papers in the court since June. I'm contacting him periodically by phone and email to inquire about what he is doing for the case, but without any response !!! Unfortunately, a whole year has been wasted for nothing!! I paid him a flat fee amount of $2,435 for nothing !! Again, don't lose your money and time. Don't hire this guy. I just want to comment on your reply to my review. Would you please explain which tasks you have completed? You do nothing!!!! You charged a flat fee for nothing, if you did something please explain it. Just check your email and phone and see how many emails and calls without any responses!!! Is that your professionalism to deal with your clients? Have you asked me for extra fee and I refused? You just let me wait for a whole year for nothing. I hired another attorney, she completed all the requirements and she got the trail within one month only!! Once again, you charged me the fees for nothing you did !!!

This review is really long over due. But I feel like I should write it in order to help others in search for a good attorney, just like I was 2 years ago. Sami is a great attorney, very knowledgable, professional, honest and efficient. He won't sugar coat or give you just the unswear you want to hear, but he is honest and compassionate. He empathizes with his clients. Divorcing was the hardest experience in my life. It was a difficult divorce and Sami was able to make it less stressful with his knowledge and personality. He has a way to calm things down. While lots of attorneys out there will try to escalate the conflicts in order to make more money, Sami will try to calm things down in order to solve the conflicts easier. Thank you Sami.

I reached out to the Sachdev legal group for resolving a messy situation. Any situation that requires you to hire attorneys is an emotionally charged situation making it challenging to see clearly. The paperwork is daunting and it takes time to understand the terms. My case was no exception at the very least. While Andrella and Puja handled the case and often guided me. Eloisa was my interface into the firm. She deftly managed my paper work and answered all my never ending questions. Eloisa translated legal terminology and requirements in simple terms. I cannot say enough good things about John Griffith and this law firm. Each person i interacted with was responsive, intelligent, thoughtful and professional. Attorney Griffith worked very hard to avoid additional litigation, find a solution that minimized time and court involvement and got an amicable settlement. Unfortunately the opposing party refused to compromise. In the end Griffith,Young and Lass went to battle for me, getting me 100% of what I requested. I absolutely recommend them without reservation. John Griffith and his team are top notch. You cannot find a better law firm.

I was in a high conflict custody battle that left me in complete disarray. After hiring another "great" attorney who completely failed me, I found Pierre and Rebecca. Lifesavers would be an understatement. My ex had spent 10 years building a case while I thought we were working together for the best interest of our children, to say the least, he had a ton of nit picky stuff to use against me. When I found Pierre he made me feel like I was finally heard, he was so welcoming and actually listened to all the background. I would highly recommend Burke & Domercq, APC for your family court representation. They were not only forthcoming and super transparent about my ongoing Family Court case, more importantly they confirmed that my existing attorney led me in the right direction and the response from Burke & Domercq would have been the same. This most probably saved me another small fortune in legal fees.
