Traci is a consummate professional, lawyer and my highly trusted advisor. I've employed her since 2013 for my divorce and since then periodically with questions as they've come up. Without fail she's responsive, and I feel like she's been extremely knowledgeable about divorce and family law. In particular, I feel she's extremely reasonable and always seeks to paint both sides along with attorney's costs, so I'm fully apprised of the consequences of any action I might need to take. I've had full physical custody of my two boys since my divorce in 2011. They're father moved out of state and although I was willing to work with him on visitation, he felt like I was being unfair. When he served me with custody papers, I was so worried and anxious of what was to come. I have always tried to do what's in the best interest of my boys, but I was worried that maybe he would not be reasonable with what he wanted versus what I was proposing (which is exactly what happened). I spoke with a few attorneys before I found Mello & Pickering. The other attorneys sounded out of touch and cold to my situation, which made me feel even more panicked. I called to set up a consult with Traci Pickering and immediately felt like I was talking to someone who had my boys best interest at heart. She focused on the facts and helped me feel at ease with the whole scenario. I was almost in tears with total relief... Traci made me truly feel like she had my back. Traci decided that her associate Jessica Pellerin would be perfect to help me with my response and in court as we proceeded. Jessica was extremely thorough and really made me feel like she understood my situation. After a failed mediation with my ex, we were set to move forward to JCC. The cost of this was really racking up and with my ex also holding out on child support, I spoke with Jessica (who was soon going on maternity leave) we decided together to have me represent myself. Ladies--Traci Pickering is who you want in your corner. I want through a very much unwanted divorce and Traci was my rock. She made herself available to me whenever I needed her and she was sympathetic but realistic. She told me the truth- the way the legal system actually works, as opposed to how it should work. I was able to mediate an appropriate settlement and move forward with my life. Traci was smart and no-nonsense but still kind and empathetic. I am SO glad I retained her services. If you have to go through divorce, I strongly advise hiring The Law Offices of Steven Dinneen. The start of a divorce process is very intimidating. I had met with another law firm prior and did not get the same detailed information that would allow me to make the best decisions for my situation. I felt they could not represent me quite like Steven and Kevin could. Hiring Steven and Kevin was a great decision as they helped guide me through this painful process. Everything from correctly filing all the forms with the court, serving papers to my ex-wife and ensuring that my interests were protected under the law. Steven and Kevin told me all of my options and thoroughly explained the benefits and drawbacks of each. I am impressed with the office as it is very clean, organized and has professional knowledgeable staff. I found the best quality law office in San Jose and I plan to stick with them for all my family law matters until my child is 18 years old. I am very grateful of their services. Have been in a family law dispute over child custody for 5 years now. My attorney was Bobby Lau , I looked for a second attorney to help as my case full of problems and needed help to resolve asap. If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, and passionate attorney to represent you, I highly recommend Nancy Martinez. Nancy was my attorney but she is more like my daughter! When I came to Nancy, I was frustrated and overwhelmed with the local county government that was trying to take a Conservatorship over my finances and person and tell me what to do. I repeatedly told the county to shove off but they kept harassing me. When they did file a case against me, I went to Nancy and told Nancy what was happening and how fearful I was about the county meddling into my private affairs. Even though Conservatorships were not her area of practice, she patiently listened to me, consoled and comforted me, and assured me she will do everything possible for me. During the court hearing she was spectacular and was able to deliver the results I wanted. I cannot thank her enough. I hold her in high regard and most of all with deep admiration and affection. Montgomery Paisano concluded my divorce for me in MAY2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was responsive and always looking out for me. He recommended changes to the draft Marriage Settlement Agreement, which we accepted, and the Agreement was accepted without comment by the Family Court. Working like that during a pandemic shows commitment. I made a good choice is working with Montgomery.

I am severing ties with peninsula law group montgomery pisano said it would cost $2,500.00, alj. I have to go to sup., alj, misrepresentation bar, state bar, supr. I would like all the files sent to me bar said to go to fee arbitration, remed, was supposed to yong won kim, hamed akhavein correct evf's, 60 and 40 hours. I have had persons reported to patrol services. I filed a police report, evf's to correct were theft and clothes, your responsibility supposed to be corrected wasn't.

I hired Audrey Gamble to represent me. However, she was completely unresponsive, except for quips like 'Maybe you can become an attorney after all of this.' I asked her to file documents for me, but she was obsessed with trying to force me to agree to stipulations to appease my husband's high powered attorney and would not work on the aspects of my case that I was interested in. If your interested in competent divorce attorney, do not come to Huey and Gamble, unless you want to be forced into bad stipulations while she doesn't work on your case.

I have interviewed 5+ lawyers in San Jose before coming across Mr. Louie. All other lawyers were focused on how to sell me their business instead of giving the reality perspective of the case. For example, other lawyers were telling me how I will be winning the case, versus, where Mr. Louie was being honest of the situation and variables that will be difficult for the case, providing the strategies how to overcome them. I cannot think of better outcome than what he could have done for me. If you need his services, I highly recommend at least interviewing Mr. Louie.

I have been using Hoover Krepelka for years. Jim Hoover and Travis Krepelka handle custody, divorce and all types of Family Law issues. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family. My attorney is Jim Hoover (a bulldog in the courtroom) but there are other attorney's in the office that are really good too so you are sure to find someone that fits your needs and personality style. Divorce and marriage are life changing events and it would be foolish not to get the best counsel available. Hoover Krepelka provided free counsel that helped friends of mine to do the right thing when they got married; and now both are fully aware of the contract they entered in together. I worked with Jim Hoover and his team for over 2 years. At first I felt very well represented. I ended up settling with my ex of an 18 yr marriage for 1/2 of what he made in one year. The Hoover team billed me 1/4 of that amount. My Jr attorney suddenly left the firm with no parting words, I received a letter. I was assigned a new attorney and was billed even more. I tried to stop the litigation because of the fees, but Hoover team would not respond and kept litigation going. When I tried to hire a new attorney, I was warned by many in the field that Hoover's team has this reputation.
