If you have to go through divorce, I strongly advise hiring The Law Offices of Steven Dinneen. The start of a divorce process is very intimidating. I had met with another law firm prior and did not get the same detailed information that would allow me to make the best decisions for my situation. If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, and passionate attorney to represent you, I highly recommend Nancy Martinez. Nancy was my attorney but she is more like my daughter! When I came to Nancy, I was frustrated and overwhelmed with the local county government that was trying to take a Conservatorship over my finances and person and tell me what to do. I repeatedly told the county to shove off but they kept harassing me. When they did file a case against me, I went to Nancy and told Nancy what was happening and how fearful I was about the county meddling into my private affairs. Even though Conservatorships were not her area of practice, she patiently listened to me, consoled and comforted me, and assured me she will do everything possible for me. Montgomery Paisano concluded my divorce for me in MAY2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was responsive and always looking out for me. He recommended changes to the draft Marriage Settlement Agreement, which we accepted, and the Agreement was accepted without comment by the Family Court. I am severing ties with peninsula law group montgomery pisano said it would cost $2,500.00, alj. I have to go to sup., alj, misrepresentation bar, state bar, supr. I would like all the files sent to me bar said to go to fee arbitration, remed, was supposed to yong won kim, hamed akhavein correct evf's, 60 and 40 hours. I have had persons reported to patrol services. I filed a police report, evf's to correct were theft and clothes, your responsibility supposed to be corrected wasn't.

I hired Audrey Gamble to represent me. However, she was completely unresponsive, except for quips like 'Maybe you can become an attorney after all of this.' I asked her to file documents for me, but she was obsessed with trying to force me to agree to stipulations to appease my husband's high powered attorney and would not work on the aspects of my case that I was interested in. If your interested in competent divorce attorney, do not come to Huey and Gamble, unless you want to be forced into bad stipulations while she doesn't work on your case.

I have interviewed 5+ lawyers in San Jose before coming across Mr. Louie. All other lawyers were focused on how to sell me their business instead of giving the reality perspective of the case. For example, other lawyers were telling me how I will be winning the case, versus, where Mr. Louie was being honest of the situation and variables that will be difficult for the case, providing the strategies how to overcome them. I have been using Hoover Krepelka for years. Jim Hoover and Travis Krepelka handle custody, divorce and all types of Family Law issues. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family. My attorney is Jim Hoover (a bulldog in the courtroom) but there are other attorney's in the office that are really good too so you are sure to find someone that fits your needs and personality style. I worked with Jim Hoover and his team for over 2 years. At first I felt very well represented. I ended up settling with my ex of an 18 yr marriage for 1/2 of what he made in one year. The Hoover team billed me 1/4 of that amount. My Jr attorney suddenly left the firm with no parting words, I received a letter. I was assigned a new attorney and was billed even more. I tried to stop the litigation because of the fees, but Hoover team would not respond and kept litigation going. When I tried to hire a new attorney, I was warned by many in the field that Hoover's team has this reputation.

Unfortunately, Nicole scrambled at the last minute to prepare for my big day. I showed up to court, and she failed to submit my statement on time for the judge to go over our case. Even OC from a different county submitted the week before. Then she told me after the botched court date all her revelations, which was not helpful at all after the fact. After an embarrassing train wreck of a court date, I switched to a new lawyer who was able to settle my case swiftly, empathetically, professionally - without having to go back to court. Literally, achieved nothing with Nicole except for negatively impacting my case. It's a shame that I threw away so much money that could have gone towards my kid when we could have settled out of court.

The entire process working with Dina was very organized. She has a system in place that keeps everything clear and within a reasonable timeframe. Do not waste your time and money here. They have high hourly rates. Appear to court late and ask for documents the night before. Very unprepared. Different lawyer from their firm appears at the court so keeps changing. The new attorney appearing barely knows what is going on. Not knowledgeable in the custody subject. The bill has charges incorrect. They charge for every minute and second you speak to them.plus add an assitional 20 extra on top. Make sure you check and track the times you talk and reach out to them as they will over charge you if you do not check. They advise you to do something and at court they do not tell the judge they advised you to do so. Beware. They seem nice at first but until they take your money.. Do not hire their services.

Do not take your divorce to this firm. My family has spent a lot of money for my case. And the bills are padded. Outrageous fees to feed this family and on child custody support cases; they are not aggressive or concerned about the spouse and children that have not had received back support payments . Or if they have shelter and or food. Or if they’re power has been shut off.emails at times are not answered in a timely manner and they bill for every email even if is regarding follow up on the same issue. They bill for each text outrageously. I say hey dead beats dads if you want someone o n your side hire these guys.

FABULOUS!!!!! I called the Moreno Family Law firm TWO DAYS before my hearing/trial and Michael Moreno took my case without any hesitation. I had a civil harassment restraining order pending against me that occurred in the workplace and I was so scared to go to court since the last time I went I couldn’t even speak to the Judge without shaking. The Opposing Party was a bully and I was frightened that if I had a restraining order granted against me it would ruin my career forever. Michael Moreno asked that I drop off the paperwork ONE DAY before the trial and he showed up prepared, looked sharp and fought for me like I had been his client for years! The judge did not want to dismiss the restraining order against me and Michael had an intellectual and persuasive response to every position the Judge made. Even when the judge disagreed with him he KEPT FIGHTING FOR ME and making new arguments that slowly started to change the Judge’s mind. Michael didn’t give up until he was able to successfully change the judge’s mind and WE WON!!! The judge dismissed the restraining order against me and I was able to walk away from the court house with NOTHING pending against me. I truly believe that the universe was in my favor when I found The Moreno Family Law firm to help me with this civil harassment restraining order (work place harassment). THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I am truly grateful and I would recommend EVERYONE to this firm. Michael Moreno is a TRIAL EXPERT and the staff was helpful and kind.
