His support staff is inept when it comes to discerning any conflicts of interests so they just book the new client anyway. Further, if you want to spend money on lawyer fees, Mr. Jones will do excess work to bill you and take your money. His professional ethics are questionable. My recommendation is not to call nor have his office represent you. Dennis Albright has passed away and was a good man and excellent attorney but Nathan Jones falls very short of ethics. He's interested in your dollars and that is all.

I first met Brooke Bryant, one of the attorneys for Meeus Law. I was going through a very difficult divorce and custody situation. I tend to get very involved, anxious and overwhelmed in those situations. Brooke took my case and from the very first time I left her office I knew she was going to be an amazing help to me. I was right, however, I never could have guessed how much more she would be. Brooke took my case as seriously as if it were her own. I found Evan Samuelson to be a kind, honest and extremely intelligent man. His knowledge of family law is exceptional. His use of logic and reason in applying family law to my case was exceptional. He never overpromised, never charged unnecessary fees, explained both sides to me clearly and always told me the truth. At all times during the legal process I felt I was in competent hands. I first employed Evan over 10 years ago during a custody battle with my son's mother. My son was 14 years old at the time, and the court was more than willing to allow him to go live with his mother because they considered him old enough to decide. My son's mother had trouble with addiction for years, but the court refused to acknowledge that little tidbit. It was an impossible case and Evan was very forthright and honest about our chances. However, he was very willing to fight for us and we devised a strategy together that was both brilliant and effective. My son's mother was luring him away by spoiling him with gifts and fun activities with money she inherited. We decided to fight a battle of attrition with the expectation that she would eventually run out of money with her free spending. It worked! It was an impossible case that we won by unconventional, but ultimately successful, means. I am now about to embark on another custody battle which may be even more impossible than the first, and my only choice to represent me in this case is Evan Samuelson.

Mr. Samuelson was fantastic! He was honest, upfront, and fought for what is right. He knows his job and he knows it well. He is a no nonsense lawyer who is a quick thinker and really fights for you. He helped my husband with a modification of his visitation with his daughter and we got more than we even asked for and we owe it all to Evan. He really went after what was best for his daughter and after having horrible experiences in the past, we never thought we would win. I contacted Mr. Samuelson for what should of been a easy open and close case. I however threw a monkey wrench midway through the case by requesting a move away with my children from CA to the Chicago area. After a year and a half of hearings, mediations and finally trial we were granted permission to move. During trial Evan was not only knowledgeable about case law, he was calm and reassuring during the process. I felt at ease knowing he was on my side and fighting to reunite my family. I am forever grateful to have had Evan Samuelson as my attorney.

Melissa Cianci is my attorney and I could not begin to say how grateful I am to have found her to represent me in both of my family law cases. I have been battling in court for years and had very few if any substantial victories to speak of until I found Melissa. I was lucky enough to find Melissa for my husband's family law cases. I searched through a lot of attorneys before I found her and I could not be more thankful that I did. Melissa is so very talented and has worked so hard for my husband to make sure that we get to have all of our daughters together as a family, despite the obstacles of visitation. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!! My partner used them paid so much money, and was told they would file a motion to respond and they withdrew from the case on the day he was served.. Very similar handling as Terri.. I am not a client my partner is... Unethical behavior I heard Melissa arguing with my partner on the phone he could not get a word in..If I could give 0stars I would!! They are limited scope and can’t help with all custody needs!! To your response, I never said I was a client.. It’s funny now that I’m leaving you the review you deserve, you are now taking this seriously.. The issue is that you are unprofessional. Making statements to help and not following through. I was a witness to the argumentative conversation you had with your former client , my partner.. I heard you ask him why he didn’t ask legal questions to his lawyer.. He hired you to explain legal issues and explain legal verbiage which you should have done a better job with.. Instead you took advantage of someone who needed your help.. You will be reported.. There is proof that your office said they would take action and they did not..

Extremely unprofessional company. I contacted Melissa Cianci, who is the owner managing partner at this establishment. I wanted to discuss what transpired a couple days ago with one her attorney’s that represented me. Right from the start, she got very defensive that I told her that I felt misrepresented from my attorney and her firm. She said that it’s my responsibility to inform her attorneys on matters not the other way around. Just really look out for this firm because they won’t give you any indication what’s going on. Make sure you keep all documentation and emails too, that way you have legal proof that demonstrates your actions are in good human conscience. Ethics and professionalism go a long way in Attorney and client contracts and customer service.

I’m so disappointed as I expected much from an attorney than he is able to provide. His paralegal really pushed for him and reassured me Brian has the capability to handle my case - unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

We are very pleased with Sarah Orr. She guided us through a very difficult guardianship issue for our grandsons. The issue took more than a year to unfold. She was there, on time, fully informed, and very friendly yet professional. Sarah helped us see the most important underlying issues, and she told us clearly when she thought we were off base or had unrealistic expectations. My ex-husband found her online to serve as a mediator for our divorce. I wish we had gone with another attorney. Not only was she horrible as an attorney but she's unreliable and very openly rude. She told my husband at the time that I was out to get every penny I could out of my husband and she said this while I was present. She also kept telling us that she would have certain things ready by a certain date but never followed through on it. We ended up firing her half way through our meditation process because she said she didn't know when things were going to get done. This is the person who initially said she had a lot of time to handle our case right away but once we paid her a retainer, all of a sudden, she got super busy and always had to go to court. So, I ended up picking up from where she left off and finishing it myself. One of the worst attorneys I have ever dealt with.

I contacted this office for some logistical/legal help as I ran into some issues while my attorney was unavailable. They were helpful in guiding me to get some immediate solutions for how I should address some challenges during the chaotic week. They even called me BACK after I thought I was done and they provided me with some meaningful facts for my situation. I was extremely grateful -- I offered to pay them a couple bucks or just mail them a gift card. They politely declined.

Carolyn Vandyk is a fraud and an unethical attorney that will take your money and not do a thing for you. She illegally is keeping files she is charging me for. She conspired against me with a MINORS COUNSEL making custodial decisions for my child without my knowledge nor permission, she falsified legal documents by illegally forging and my docusign signature. The list goes on and on. DO NOT TRUST HER I wouldn't reccomend her to anyone. PLEASE BEWARE OF HER UNETHICAL IMMORAL ILLEGAL PRACTICES

I got divorced 5 years ago and used Dan and his team. I cant tell you how much I appreciated everyone at their office. During my divorce I needed someone on a Holiday because i was being harassed by my then soon to be ex and within 10 minutes of leaving a message Dan called me and took care of the issue. During my divorce I worked through most of my paperwork with Kim and she is an angel and held my hand the whole way. I recently needed paperwork sent to DCSS and their office was so responsive during these COVID times and Kim called me within hours of me sending an email and got me the paperwork I needed. All I can say is Janessa McCune is great at her profession. As I started to talk with her I had more questions than answers. I wasn't sure what steps needed to be taken an what direction that I needed to go. At the times and situation where I was frustrated and making decisions on emotions. She slowed me down and explained how the court system and law worked. This guidance and professionalism helped me threw the many steps that needed to be followed. Janessa is very aggressive and cool when needed to be. she gets back to you with answers to the questions you have asked in a very prompt time frame. Just rude! 1st we won’t take a case about family law. Then questions my county as if I shouldn’t have called there and we live in the same city. Then a long hold after I convince him to ask the actual attorney since you’re not. Lazy unprofessional & lacks values. Extremely disappointed would never recommend. All to come back and say we’re busy call back next week.

Sandra Myers has been my attorney for several years now and has helped me and my son tremendously. She has always gone above and beyond, and shown a high level of commitment to helping us. In addition, she conducts herself with such a high degree of integrity and class...I am so happy I found her years ago. Recently Alexandra Myers took over my case and represented me throughout the course of a trial. She was very organized, focused and diligent, and showed enthusiasm that inspired me to stay optimistic throughout the entire process. She was also extremely resourceful in gathering information and prepping for the trial. I was referred to Sandra Myers by no less than 3 former clients of hers who spoke very highly of her and the entire office. From my very first contact with the office 3 years ago until now, I've received what I feel is the best representation in my very high-conflict case. Everyone from the receptionists, paralegals and Sandra Myers herself have all been professional, timely, courteous and efficient. Every phone call and email has been returned promptly and every issue has been addressed. They are fair and have been extremely helpful through what has otherwise been an extremely difficult situation. Staff works together cohesively for me and I feel they are honest in trying to give me the best legal counsel in my situation, often working above and beyond hours to provide assistance.

To be honest, not satisfied overall. $5k retainer upfront for representation, then when it dipped below $2k another $5k to maintain funds. Divorce was brick wall after brick wall and I felt Myers acquiesced too much to opposing counsel. Even "boiler-plated" someone else's paperwork to me forgetting to take out a mentioned auto accident I never had. Ex-wife wound up with everything -- I wound up with $0. Had to leave CA -- couldn't afford it on my retirement. Got saddled with $4k in taxes, and another $20k in moving and relocation expenses. And here's the kicker: when your retainer dips below that $2k threshold, man does Myers want that reboot of cash immediately...and, yet, when I had $1730.85 leftover in my trust, it took 2 months of excuses and explanations before they finally refunded my funds from representation. When told to send the check FedEx Overnight, their excuse? "Our practice is to send regular mail". No tracking number? Not even Priority Mail? In my opinion, they are NOT divorce lawyers but paper pushers through the court system. They did NOTHING for me but take $8300 I didn't have in the first place.

I called for a consultation, and a salesman took my call. I asked for advice and to speak with attorney. $3,000 was my answer. I called later with $3,000 on hand, but was told... my "consultant" wasn't there so I couldn't speak to anyone until he came in hours later. I told them any reputable attorneys office could make me an appointment. The reply was... "sir there is a protocal in place, give me your number and your consultant will contact you". I hung up...I don't need a commission based salesman to close the deal. A reputable law office will make my appointment regardless of who answers the phone.
