Karen Lamprey and I went through a very tough case that lasted for around 10 years. She is the reason I got my kiddos back and I can’t thank her enough. Billed us for research she didn't complete (other attorneys we hired sent her the case law). Karen took a lengthy time to respond to us and to file court responses/motions, so much so that the magistrate called our side "clandestine". Even our other adoption/litigation attorneys said she neglected our case. She was stuttering so bad during her cross examination on a bogus emergency motion that my other attorneys informed me that they were actively emailing her, telling her to relax and tightened her questioning. We hired her in November of 2020, released her in December of 2020, and have since spend $9800 in attorney fees to fix her mistakes. Even our adoption attorney said she is not giving this case the time it needed, we were just an easy payday to her firm. Luckily we have a great new proactive team now.

As we begin this Thanksgiving holiday we are continually giving thanks to David for his help during our recent involvement with the Colorado Legal System. Of the four attorneys I interviewed , Pat and I are so grateful we selected him, the most capable, knowledgeable and committed attorney to represent me (us) against a system designed to convict anyone accused of an alleged crime. David was not intimidated nor overpowered by the prosecutors’ seemly personal agenda or by the vast amount of resources at the prosecutor’s disposal. David’s professional and personal qualities helped us feel we had a capable, caring friend on our side. He helped us to resist becoming disheartened by the prosecutor’s sinister tactics. Pat and I now realize a person is not innocent until proven guilty in our legal system but is guilty until they can prove their innocence. Dr Jones is incredibly knowledgeable on the law. In my particular case he seemed to know more than the judge himself. I was falsely arrested and charged with 3rd degree assault. The state tried to "fast track" the trial, meaning I was released from jail and literally had only an hour to show up for court. I frantically searched Google and luckily for me David was in his office at the time. He advised me how to handle my pre trial, refuse to speak with the DA, etc. Because of David's sound advice the DA couldn't get anything from me. The Jefferson County Court did the best they could to screw me in the months before trial..sobriety monitoring/random drug test. You are official guilty until proven innocent. DR Jones assured me this would go away through a dismissal or acquittal at trial. He took one look at my discovery file and it was obvious to him that they arrested the wrong person in my case.. David went to bat for me, attacking the cases credibility, loading the DA with irrefutable evidence, etc. At the motions hearing David requested a dismissal and the state had no choice but to not object. I'm glad it didn't go to trial but I have no doubt David would have made a mockery of the States case in court. Thanks David! You truly put my life back on track!

D.R.Jones associate George Bailey is a pleasure to work with. I believe that he really does his best. We had a complicated situation and were upset that too many associates or colleagues were involved without our prior knowledge; before billing, however the ability of this law firm is excellent. The cost is high, but most legal help today is. Mr. Bailey did a wonderful job & I thank him for his help.

DR Jones himself may be a good attorney but his associates are not very pleasing. Wasted a lot of my money in "business meetings" amongst them selfs. And were talking 4 digits. Didn't return calls and I feel this firm just wasted a lot of time and money and really didn't get anything accomplished. The choice is yours, but I would seriously reconsider the decision in hiring this firm.

I could write a 30 page dissertation, right here (Does Google reviews have a character limit?!), on the horrors of divorcing in this 50/50-or-die state. While that is wholly irrelevant and often my style, I would rather take this time to sing the praises of Harris Law Firm and, in particular, my lawyer, Andrew Stein. My life has improved tremendously since Mr. Stein began representing me, just a few short months ago. I think he may help with my PTSD symptoms more than my psychiatrist does. I have been at the mercy of my ex and his tenacious lawyer throughout this terrible process. It's nice to finally have someone on my side who won't let them bully me. I have been failed by others in the past. Mr. Stein is not only a great lawyer who acts with intelligence and a bigger picture in mind, he is a genuinely thoughtful person whose whatever-the-attorney-equivalent-to-bedside-manner goes far above and beyond the standard practice. I trust him, and my confidence is not so easily won. I like to say that I would sell my kidney to afford him and I'm not entirely joking. I think I may need him more than I need that duplicate organ, at least for the next few years. 10 stars and 4 thumbs up

Your experience may vary: For starters Javed was great but after that once assigned to Mr. S, I just became a billing client for his numbers. He was unprepared on every front. Showed up to mediation and the mediator schooled him on the process, and he even said ‘I have not read the file yet’. Wait, we are in mediation for a divorce and you have not read the file to prepare yourself? Then it just became, ‘you need to come up with more money for the offer’. More money, more money all the while not defending any assets I had, no attempt at all, and always dismissed at every turn. “it doesn’t matter’, ‘that won’t matter’, ‘courts are not interested’, no defense on anything. Showed up to court and he had nothing, OC threw a curve ball and he died on the sport, no defense, no plan B, not even a C, or a D , nothing, just dead air. I think even the judge was shocked. Worthless representation from this firm. From then on it was just OC and the judge rolling over us all the way to the end. I had the proof, had all the supporting documents for the defense and sent him that. Researched something back 15 years to try to get something dismissed, but he wasn’t interested. How are you a lawyer if you’re not going to represent your client when you have the proof for a defense and you need to share with the court and you don’t? It is in explainable why you didn’t share this, but you go out and claim you need to rewrite every document OC sends, only to end up submitting the same document they started with. Spend the time defending your client and not needlessly wasting time on billing your client for useless stuff because you need to make you’re numbers. If you cannot defend your client, then remove yourself from the case. When you do complain about the service you are met with being dismissed. ‘That’s how the system works, it’s not fair’. It’s fair if you show up on equal footing and you lose because it was a fair fight. It becomes unfair when the attorney you hire doesn’t show up at all and doesn’t disclose to the court information that could change the outcome, and doesn’t fight for you but just dismisses you because they don’t want to do their job. In the end, because of the lack of representation and defense I had to cut a deal with the EX to stop the loss. A deal that should have never happened and why I hired representation. - Harris Services were terminated.

I am a fairly young and successful doctor. When a woman I had known for over a year and a half became angry with me and accused me of things I had not done, I could have lost everything. I picked David at random from the Internet to defend me. I was sad and scared. David stuck with me for 17 months, believed in me, and fought for me with his clever mind, knowledge of the law, experience, and heart and soul. I was facing 10 years to life, and never being a doctor again. David had the trial dismissed in its entirety the day of jury selection. He gave me everything back. Fortunately it did not come to a trial, but I absolutely know we would have beaten them in the courtroom if it had. I was not scared at all about going to trial. I was calm and prepared, and so was David. I knew we would win, and in a way I was disappointed not to see David in action in the courtroom. He has many years of experience, and is a true trial lawyer. Sometimes things happen in our lives that we don't see coming. If it happens to you, there is no better person you could pick than David Jones. I did not know that at the time when I was doing the same thing you are doing now, which is looking online for help. But take it from someone who has really been there. David will try to resolve your problem, but if he cannot, he is ready and willing and capable of taking it into a courtroom. David loves the law and believes in defending people, and practices essentially by himself. So when you pick David, you get David. He is a wonderful son, husband, and father, in addition to being a wonderful lawyer, and while all his clients cannot say this, I am happy to call him my friend.
