Marc was my attorney in family court through a contentious divorce that lasted from 2012 through 2016. He believed in me, supported me, and fought for me. He is knowledgeable, articulate, and communicative. He kept me informed of developments and strategy as the process moved forward, and made me feel that we were working as partners. When we received the judge's decision, Marc felt that the court had erred by classifying a large portion of my separate property as marital. After researching the issue with him, I agreed. We filed an appeal with the appellate court and won. The court's decision validated Marc's interpretation of statute, and returned a large sum of my property to me. Marc stood by me and supported me for four years of litigation. He fought to regain my parenting rights over my two children and kept me informed of my rights and responsibilities in forming a parenting plan. Lastly, he won an argument at the appellate level that returned more money to me than his fees for the entire process. I would recommend him without reservation.

I found myself accused of something that I did not do and I have never been involved with the criminal justice system for anything other than a few minor traffic citations from many years ago. I didn't have a clue where to begin. Ms. Lee came highly recommended and the reason was apparent from our initial phone conversation. She informed me on the initial process, then gave me detailed instructions on where to begin. I had not even hired her yet. Upon asking her to represent me, she was diligent, adept and prompt. Every motion was filed immediately. I received copy and discovery in real-time, so I was always aware of what was happening with my case. I’m forever grateful and thankful To have met and been able to hire Ms. Lee to represent me in my case! Before I was able to save all the money for my retainer fees she was a very helpful as she gave me the knowledge and information on how to move forward with the start of my case, even that information meant a lot. The prices she told me on day one was the same price she charged me, there was no extra or outrageous fees. Ms. Lee made it very affordable for me. She is very smart and very professional, there was never a time when she left anything unclear or unanswered. The public defender I was first working with was never able to answer any of my questions and was only able to get me a deal were I was facing 10 years in prison and up to 5 years on parole with five to ten thousand dollars in fines and costs for a person with no criminal record, after I was harassed and provoke repeatedly. Ms. Lee was very knowledgeable from the beginning to the end! I spent 294 days on ankle monitor and pre trial services, after Ms. Lee made her first appearance on my behalf my ankle monitor was removed in two weeks! That itself spoke volumes about how serious she is about her job. Although I made the decision not to go to trial on this case, there is no doubt in my mind that we would have been awarded with the outcome we deserved and Ms. Lee worked very hard for! This DA was trying to give me 10 years on my first offense and with the help of Ms. Lee I ended up with 2 years probation and a deferred judgement!!!! I couldn’t be more happier with the way she represented me. I was worried that I would get jail time and have fees associated with court and my case. Ms. Lee made sure the judge didn’t give me jail time or any fees or restitution. I would recommend Ms. Linda Lee as a five star lawyer 10/10 and a great person to have represent you!!

While Linda is very knowledgeable my experience was terrible. She was unresponsive, forgot to file necessary court docs prolonging the process, and refuses to send me an invoice of billable hours. My simple parenting plan case should have took just a few months however it went on almost 7. I paid her retainer up front and I know there’s no way her billable hours hit that amount. I feel like I got robbed of my money and that doesn’t sit well with me. Save the headache and take your money to an attorney who actually cares!!

I didn't know what I was going to get when I was first referred to this office. I was in a very high stress state as an unexpected family situation had arose and I needed a lawyer immediately. Luckily, the person I got to work with was Dorian. I don't know what I would have done without him. He kept my stress down and brought me back to reality when I was spinning out. Its hard when you get in those situations to know if those representing you have your back or not, and Dorian definitely did! I knew what was happening in my case the entire way and he always responded quickly with any questions that I had. If you want the BEST, forget the rest! Truly, they outmaneuvered 3 other law firms over a 4 year time period. From the 1st time I spoke with Rodger, I could tell that he truly cared about what I was going through. Even knowing the case law wasn't favorable, Rodger, Carrie and the entire team helped me persevere throughout a long, stressful process. Crises would often occur during weekends and they both gave me their personal cell numbers, so we were never out of contact. Carrie's motions were extremely detail oriented and her trial appearances were masterful. I often referred to Rodger and Carrie as "The iron fist in the velvet glove." It really was a pleasure to work with the entire team! While I might not like all their advice, I followed everything and it usually turned out to be correct. What I felt from all, was genuine support for a very difficult position. I believe the parenting time and custody issues were resolved fairly. Mr. Zuber will resort to false statements in court orders. Mr. Zuber will not verify information before making extremely negative statements about someone. In my opinion, Mr. Zuber feels that he can manipulate the system in any way he feels with absolutely no ethical accountability. I would not recommend using this Attorney.

I could write a 30 page dissertation, right here (Does Google reviews have a character limit?!), on the horrors of divorcing in this 50/50-or-die state. While that is wholly irrelevant and often my style, I would rather take this time to sing the praises of Harris Law Firm and, in particular, my lawyer, Andrew Stein. My life has improved tremendously since Mr. Stein began representing me, just a few short months ago. I think he may help with my PTSD symptoms more than my psychiatrist does. I have been at the mercy of my ex and his tenacious lawyer throughout this terrible process. It's nice to finally have someone on my side who won't let them bully me. I have been failed by others in the past. Mr. Stein is not only a great lawyer who acts with intelligence and a bigger picture in mind, he is a genuinely thoughtful person whose whatever-the-attorney-equivalent-to-bedside-manner goes far above and beyond the standard practice. I trust him, and my confidence is not so easily won. I like to say that I would sell my kidney to afford him and I'm not entirely joking. I think I may need him more than I need that duplicate organ, at least for the next few years. 10 stars and 4 thumbs up

Your experience may vary: For starters Javed was great but after that once assigned to Mr. S, I just became a billing client for his numbers. He was unprepared on every front. Showed up to mediation and the mediator schooled him on the process, and he even said ‘I have not read the file yet’. Wait, we are in mediation for a divorce and you have not read the file to prepare yourself? Then it just became, ‘you need to come up with more money for the offer’. More money, more money all the while not defending any assets I had, no attempt at all, and always dismissed at every turn. “it doesn’t matter’, ‘that won’t matter’, ‘courts are not interested’, no defense on anything. Showed up to court and he had nothing, OC threw a curve ball and he died on the sport, no defense, no plan B, not even a C, or a D , nothing, just dead air. I think even the judge was shocked. Worthless representation from this firm. From then on it was just OC and the judge rolling over us all the way to the end. I had the proof, had all the supporting documents for the defense and sent him that. Researched something back 15 years to try to get something dismissed, but he wasn’t interested. How are you a lawyer if you’re not going to represent your client when you have the proof for a defense and you need to share with the court and you don’t? It is in explainable why you didn’t share this, but you go out and claim you need to rewrite every document OC sends, only to end up submitting the same document they started with. Spend the time defending your client and not needlessly wasting time on billing your client for useless stuff because you need to make you’re numbers. If you cannot defend your client, then remove yourself from the case. When you do complain about the service you are met with being dismissed. ‘That’s how the system works, it’s not fair’. It’s fair if you show up on equal footing and you lose because it was a fair fight. It becomes unfair when the attorney you hire doesn’t show up at all and doesn’t disclose to the court information that could change the outcome, and doesn’t fight for you but just dismisses you because they don’t want to do their job. In the end, because of the lack of representation and defense I had to cut a deal with the EX to stop the loss. A deal that should have never happened and why I hired representation. - Harris Services were terminated.

Patrick Fitz-Gerald helped with a very complicated criminal DV case. We were dealing with a very unresponsive and uncooperative DA. Patrick brought his insight as an ex-Jeffco DA to our case and convinced us that a good plea deal rather than a jury trial was our best path. At the very end, my daughter was looking at jail time.
