Do not fall for their “we are on your side” consultation! Jennifer/Jessica made me feel comfortable, confident and felt like they understood me but they are just after your money. After a month from signing the contract, they bill me almost $2000 and never even filed the divorce. The week I tell them I’m talking to other attorneys they charge me 22 minuets just to find the county which I’m filing the divorce! That may not seem like a lot but trust me, their “research” really adds up. One can learn more from a simple google search in 1 hour then what they had to dig up over several weeks. When I brought up that the charges were getting out of my expense Jessica came off so offended and suggested I LOOK FOR ANOTHER ATTORNEY. Get this, after a month of research, encouraging comments and emails (that were charged) she tells me we are on the losing side judging by the history of cases like it. Very unprofessional leading customers on and playing with their hopes. They may have lower retainer/rates but they won’t hesitate to take their time with things.

Absolutely amazing!!! Before I retained Sauer Petterson Family Law, I was honestly beginning to think my case was a lost cause. A friend of mine referred me to Autumn Scardina for advice on a custody concern. I wasn't even interested in pursuing litigation unless it was a last resort, which I did let Autumn know at the beginning of our conversation. I am a fairly young and successful doctor. When a woman I had known for over a year and a half became angry with me and accused me of things I had not done, I could have lost everything. I picked David at random from the Internet to defend me. I was sad and scared. David stuck with me for 17 months, believed in me, and fought for me with his clever mind, knowledge of the law, experience, and heart and soul. I was facing 10 years to life, and never being a doctor again. David had the trial dismissed in its entirety the day of jury selection. He gave me everything back. Fortunately it did not come to a trial, but I absolutely know we would have beaten them in the courtroom if it had. I was not scared at all about going to trial. I was calm and prepared, and so was David. I knew we would win, and in a way I was disappointed not to see David in action in the courtroom. He has many years of experience, and is a true trial lawyer. Sometimes things happen in our lives that we don't see coming. If it happens to you, there is no better person you could pick than David Jones. I did not know that at the time when I was doing the same thing you are doing now, which is looking online for help. But take it from someone who has really been there. David will try to resolve your problem, but if he cannot, he is ready and willing and capable of taking it into a courtroom. David loves the law and believes in defending people, and practices essentially by himself. So when you pick David, you get David. He is a wonderful son, husband, and father, in addition to being a wonderful lawyer, and while all his clients cannot say this, I am happy to call him my friend.

Marc was my attorney in family court through a contentious divorce that lasted from 2012 through 2016. He believed in me, supported me, and fought for me. He is knowledgeable, articulate, and communicative. He kept me informed of developments and strategy as the process moved forward, and made me feel that we were working as partners. When we received the judge's decision, Marc felt that the court had erred by classifying a large portion of my separate property as marital. After researching the issue with him, I agreed. We filed an appeal with the appellate court and won. The court's decision validated Marc's interpretation of statute, and returned a large sum of my property to me. Marc stood by me and supported me for four years of litigation. He fought to regain my parenting rights over my two children and kept me informed of my rights and responsibilities in forming a parenting plan. Lastly, he won an argument at the appellate level that returned more money to me than his fees for the entire process. I would recommend him without reservation.

I found myself accused of something that I did not do and I have never been involved with the criminal justice system for anything other than a few minor traffic citations from many years ago. I didn't have a clue where to begin. Ms. Lee came highly recommended and the reason was apparent from our initial phone conversation. She informed me on the initial process, then gave me detailed instructions on where to begin. I had not even hired her yet. Upon asking her to represent me, she was diligent, adept and prompt. Every motion was filed immediately. I received copy and discovery in real-time, so I was always aware of what was happening with my case. She clearly communicated pros and cons, expectations, and she listened to my concerns and considered my input. Ultimately, my case was dismissed and records sealed (she even submitted the request). I’m forever grateful and thankful To have met and been able to hire Ms. Lee to represent me in my case! Before I was able to save all the money for my retainer fees she was a very helpful as she gave me the knowledge and information on how to move forward with the start of my case, even that information meant a lot. The prices she told me on day one was the same price she charged me, there was no extra or outrageous fees. Ms. Lee made it very affordable for me. She is very smart and very professional, there was never a time when she left anything unclear or unanswered. The public defender I was first working with was never able to answer any of my questions and was only able to get me a deal were I was facing 10 years in prison and up to 5 years on parole with five to ten thousand dollars in fines and costs for a person with no criminal record, after I was harassed and provoke repeatedly. Ms. Lee was very knowledgeable from the beginning to the end! I spent 294 days on ankle monitor and pre trial services, after Ms. Lee made her first appearance on my behalf my ankle monitor was removed in two weeks! That itself spoke volumes about how serious she is about her job. Although I made the decision not to go to trial on this case, there is no doubt in my mind that we would have been awarded with the outcome we deserved and Ms. Lee worked very hard for! This DA was trying to give me 10 years on my first offense and with the help of Ms. Lee I ended up with 2 years probation and a deferred judgement!!!! I couldn’t be more happier with the way she represented me. I was worried that I would get jail time and have fees associated with court and my case. Ms. Lee made sure the judge didn’t give me jail time or any fees or restitution. I would recommend Ms. Linda Lee as a five star lawyer 10/10 and a great person to have represent you!!

While Linda is very knowledgeable my experience was terrible. She was unresponsive, forgot to file necessary court docs prolonging the process, and refuses to send me an invoice of billable hours. My simple parenting plan case should have took just a few months however it went on almost 7. I paid her retainer up front and I know there’s no way her billable hours hit that amount. I feel like I got robbed of my money and that doesn’t sit well with me. Save the headache and take your money to an attorney who actually cares!!

Patrick Fitz-Gerald helped with a very complicated criminal DV case. We were dealing with a very unresponsive and uncooperative DA. Patrick brought his insight as an ex-Jeffco DA to our case and convinced us that a good plea deal rather than a jury trial was our best path. At the very end, my daughter was looking at jail time. Patrick gave a marvelous performance and convinced the Judge that probation was a better path of justice. We will always be grateful.

Mr. Zuber will resort to false statements in court orders. Mr. Zuber will not verify information before making extremely negative statements about someone. In my opinion, Mr. Zuber feels that he can manipulate the system in any way he feels with absolutely no ethical accountability. I would not recommend using this Attorney.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!! We had a previous experience with the attorney from this firm, and what do you know after making the retainer payment, I was not represented appropriately! I did not go to law school, hence why we had an attorney, and to realize they did nothing to help with our case, instead telling us not to ruffle feathers. Yes there are circumstances, but incompetence on a law firm's behalf is inexcusable.
