I highly recommend Matt Perkins if you are seeking fair justice in any case or simply need advice! He has high moral and ethical character that is rare to find! Instead of letting his high moral standards contradict the justice you seek, he allows those values to legally align with and further validate and support your case. He generously helped me with a case where the defendants did not want to pay for any damages done even after admitting fault. He remained consistently supportive, professional, level-headed, fair, respectful to all parties, and was very timely. Tricia has been absolutely phenomenal. I've retained her twice now. Once for parenting time and the second to relocate my son for a military move. Both times she has be outstanding with communicating with me, managing my expectations, and her overall professionalism even when the other party wasn't very cordial. As a father, I was fighting to allow my son to continue to live primarily with me and she helped me accomplish that goal. That was the first retainer. 4/7/2021 I had a terrible experience while being represented by Ashley Beck in divorce. From my experience, she was unresponsive, hard to get ahold of, inexperienced in that she assumed what the judge would or wouldn't say about certain issues. She was not a filter to my wife's accusations or her lawyers attacks. She was, in my experience, unprepared for mediation, I had to ask multiple times during mediation if she reviewed the information prior to mediation. She was, in short, inexperienced, unprepared and outmatched when faced with an aggressive opposing lawyer. To my fault, I should have fired her early on and went with a more experienced, empathetic lawyer. This has been my experience and I wanted to share with others as this platform allows.

Thieves and snakes. Don't trust Kevin - he doesn't do ANYTHING except ask for more money. Months later, no results, not even any progress, and he just says to give up and take the deal. What a waste of money. I could have taken the deal they offered for free months ago and had the same outcome. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COWARD.

Alex and family are, unequivocally, the best team to have on your side when the help is needed. Not only did she take on my case when most passed me up, she never doubted that we could get my desired outcome. Beyond that, she and her team never stooped to the level of the opposing party. There were moments I wanted to just let loose and both Alex and Krista would rein me in and make clear it wasn't needed. Their focus was the facts and not mirroring the immature smearing that was coming from the other side. They truly became a short-term 'family' during my divorce and custody battle. Worth absolutely everything I gave up for them to have my back. If you want to be apart of your children's lives, when someone is doing whatever they can to take them away from you, hire Alex and her team. One of the biggest blessings I could have ever hoped for this past year.

Alex White is a predatory attorney. The charges she billed me for on totally unnecessary work were so outrageous, she charged OVER $5000 A MONTH! I have Autism and she tried to take advantage of me. Alex White insisted I needed a Guardian Ad Litem, which I definitely did not need. She just wanted to charge more. She doesn't respect or listen to her clients at all! I asked for messages to get to the other side of my case and I was lied to and given no hope even though it ended up NOT being the truth. The opposite of what I was told by Alex White ended up being the outcome once I switched attorneys AND I was only changed $1200 a month by the ETHICAL AND WONDERFUL NEW ATTORNEY.... It really sunk in the fact that Alex White is a completely unethical attorney and is an A+ abuser of power who is skilled at gaslighting people to try to gain control.

Easy case, my ex didn't want to respond to mediation request so needed a lawyer. Ended up paying over $4,000 for paperwork and mediation help. Paralegal was wonderful, but lawyer refused to ask for lawyer fees nor would he include childcare costs. I felt like a uneducated woman who's requests were insignificant. Asking for their help was a mistake.

Worst attorneys I have ever met. They found a way to get the judge to make me pay more to my ex-wife than even she and her attorneys were asking for. They took 10k from me and I was totally screwed for it. Beware! They constantly ignored my calls and emails, kept me in the dark throughout the process. My life would have been so much better if I had found any other law firm.

Everyone at Maceau Law was wonderful, they were easy to work with they utilized the time spent together efficiently in order to reduce my costs of working with a lawyer through my divorce. They kept me in the loop through the whole process and my attorney arrived early to the court date to walk through what I would have to do at the final orders hearing. They saved me so much time and trouble of doing the divorce on my own. Best decision I have made and was definitely worth the money to get help with the divorce.

I called this law firm 2 weeks ago to see if any lawyers can help with a dispute on a student loan. I called asking if anyone could give me advice about my situation and the secretary or whoever she was put me on hold to see if anyone could help me, she got back onto the phone and said “the lawyer who would know about this is in a meeting, can I get your name and number and I will call you back later today to get you set up with a appointment” so I gave her my information said bye and hung up. I waited all day for the call back and never received one. Figured since my husband and I worked with this law firm in the past when we needed help with changing our daughters last name why not work them again to see if they can help me with my situation. They we’re very professional in the past but very unprofessional with not giving me a call back. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anyone looking for one. So here I am three weeks later still on the hunt looking for a honest reputable lawyer.

When you see the amount of documents that need to be filed it can feel overwhelming. Stephen sent step by step instructions on how to fill out the documents for both the petitioner and co-petitioner. All the documents are numbered in the top left hand corner making it easy to ensure you have the documents in order. I followed the directions and it was completed in a reasonable amount of time. I then mailed them to Stephen and it was finished. I would recommend.

This firm assisted my ex husband in filing a frivolous and untruthful (and very poorly written) motion to modify parenting time in order to attempt to decrease my parenting time with my children. Still unsure of the motive behind such behavior other than unadulterated evil. Ex is full blown narcissist and his second wife alcoholic. Well needless to say my daughter lives with me full time now and ex pays lots of child support. I recommend more ethics training for all.

Spectacular! Laura delivered a result that was more than I could have hoped for. The whole team in Lauras office follows her example and her lead. From my first impression to the very end everyone was professional, comforting and thorough. My case should have been a small, easily mediated case. I never felt that I was on the back burner or less important than any other case Laura had, even as mine turned into a ridiculous mess due to opposing side. Amazing family law team! Where do I begin? We had worked with Laura Page years prior to establish our initial parenting plan with our son’s father, and found ourselves needing to modify it due to an unavoidable military relocation. Her and her team have been so great to us. It was their knowledge, expertise, and persistence that allowed us to move with our son. Without going into too much detail we faced a difficult battle for custody. Laura was there every step of the way and by the end of it she felt like part of the family. We owe everything to her, because of her we were able to keep our family together. It isn’t easy being a military family and special emphasis on that when you bring custody scenarios into consideration. Jennifer Helland is the most competent family law attorney in Colorado Springs; hands down. To say my case was complicated would be a huge understatement. I spoke/worked with several other attorneys who frankly just scratched their heads and gave incorrect advice.
