I had demetrious price as a family lawyer and he said $2,500 would hold me over until court or mediation and within 4 days I was charged $6,000 and they were suppose to tell me when my balance is under $1000 and not one time did they let me know i also brought that to there attention. My case only required simple paper work at the time of being charged that much. They kept requesting money through email but would not be available over the phone. The paragraph Kameelah often just puts you on hold and attempts to collect more money. The money i spent at the law firm was not useful a lot of the work could have been cheaper if they have not “spent” so much time in group meetings discussing my case without my knowledge.

Meriwether & Tharp, and perticularly Lolita Beyah handled my case in the most professional manner. During the 2 years it took to settle this case, they were patient in dealing with the 3 lawyers that took turns representing the opposition. They gave me the most sound legal advice I could have imagined and helped me maintain proper focus on the most important issues during some trying times. Ordway, as well as his staff, was always nice at the beginning for a new client. But he essentially does not work hard for you while charging you tons of money. He often negotiates a very bad deal (because he is very lazy), while giving you an impression that he achieved "favorable results" for you. When he responds to your questions, the answer is always short and oftentimes misleading (but you would have a good impression because he is a smooth talker). My divorce ended up with a very bad deal (I did not know at the time). To this date, I still have another (good) attorney to clean up his mess. Do not throw away your hard earned money for his bad services, especially when his services are deceptively adequate.

I would not use this Law Firm ever again. When I first hired them , I Just knew this was the best decision. After so long, I realized I was doing all the attorneys work myself and the lack of communication is something else. Also the assistant is very rude and love going back and forth with The attorneys clients instead of helping them clear up their frustration!! Don’t use these people services. Find someone who really want to help you and that’s determined to get the job done.

Daniele Johnson is hands-down the best family law attorney I've ever hired. I remember a promise she made to me shortly after our first conversation: "I will treat your money as if it were my own".
