Brodie Law Group is the ONLY Law Group you should ever be calling. The first day I entered the Macon office I was hopeless , lost , worried and just plain tired. Steph McCollum in the front office Greeted me with the most welcoming and comforting smile I’ve ever seen. Ms Brodie followed behind her and invited me to sit down in her office to explain what she could help me with. Little did I know that day would be the start of this Law Group changing my life. I’ll be honest after 4 failed and pitiful attempts by other attorneys I didn’t have much hope. I had a brief conversation with Ms Brodie and decided to retain her. This was hands down the absolute best decision I’ve ever made. She immediately got the ball rolling. I got instant movement and forward progress into my case. It’s been a long tough year that my case has taken and even through a pandemic but I’m happy to say Ashley Brodie got the job done. I watched Ashley Brodie absolutely destroy the opposing party at 3 separate high conflict hearings. She came over-prepared to every hearing and to do nothing more than get the job done. My experience with this firm was exceptional! It was not just my experience alone. My seventy year old mother was unfortunately faced with a divorce at this late stage in her life. While going through this process she was also diagnosed with cancer. Ashley and her staff went above and beyond for my mother. They honestly became more like part of our family. Ashley stood up and fought for her through the entire process. It was honestly an uphill battle that wore my mother down. Ashley, her colleague Mark, nor her Office Manager Stacey ever backed down or gave up.This is someone you most definitely want in your corner! wish I could give this business 10 stars! I had an issue that could have possibly ruined my record and maybe ended me up in jail all because of an error in the courts computer system. I called this company to help me figure out my next move and in less than a day they reached out to the courts and had the matter resolved without me taking one step in to the courthouse. By far Richard Schrade has been a big factor is my life and I could not have asked for a better lawyer. This man was persistent with my case, and I felt as if he never stopped trying to help me. He wasn’t just a lawyer he was a dang good friend. So for the people that are hesitant about hiring him… don’t hesitate, Richard is one of the best. He is very well mannered, respectful, and unlike most lawyers - if you need him at 11 o-clock at night, if this man wasn’t already asleep, he was on the phone listening to anything new or new information I had about my case and court. He always kept me updated on things that was changing in the court system and with my case itself. So all in all, if you want a lawyer that actually does what a lawyer is suppose to do then Richard is by far the way to go and I would never hesitate to hire him again if the need ever came up.

I was looking for a reputable firm in the area to handle revision of my mother's POA & Will. Mom had been wanting to take care of this for several months but was unsure of trusting another firm for this process since her previous attorney passed away a few years ago. After a bit of research, I suggested Brown, Barbour, & Thraikill as their reputation suggested competence and integrity. We were not disappointed. Would either my mother or I retain their services in the future? Absolutely!

I would not use this Law Firm ever again. When I first hired them , I Just knew this was the best decision. After so long, I realized I was doing all the attorneys work myself and the lack of communication is something else. Also the assistant is very rude and love going back and forth with The attorneys clients instead of helping them clear up their frustration!! Don’t use these people services. Find someone who really want to help you and that’s determined to get the job done.

Passionate, professional, honest, respectful & well organized. Anne handled my case wonderfully. From day one she was very responsive and always available to answer all of my questions. I always felt like I mattered, I was never “brushed off”. My case was complex & we unfortunately had to go to trial. Clifford Turner is the real deal. It was my first time in trouble, first time in court, first time with a lawyer and he made the process seem painless. Moderately priced comparatively. You get what you pay for. Representation by Mr. Turner did not feel as though it did anything to better my position in the DUI case. Having the attorney was a comfort at first but pretty sure I could have just represented myself in the end.

So after been through two divorces I can say the least this was the worst experience I’ve had with situation like this! Never had direct contact with Mark or never got return phone calls or emails. Certain situations after consulting with another lawyer after the fact weren’t explained or done totally wrong. I can say his assistant Kay is the only reason he is still in business! Horrible experience with the outcome of my divorce and still dealing with issues that should have been explained or taken care of during divorce. My advice if you live in coweta county find a lawyer outside this county as you’ll find better results!

John Cunningham is hands down the best lawyer I’ve ever had. I messed up my life at 17 and ended up being charged with 18 felonies for theft. Long story short I turned my life around and 12 years later John was able to get my felonies removed wiped clean through retroactively applying a first offenders. My felonies held me back from school and job opportunities and messed with my ability to provide for my family. I now have a clean record and a bright future because of John. Thank you! If you’re looking for compassionate, personable, professional, and equitable attorneys, look no further. Jennifer is warm, compassionate, and has a great sense of humor. She made me feel comfortable and easily broke down the legal terms for my understanding. Jennifer is very responsive and I know on more than one occasion took time out of her schedule for me. She made me feel confident in her plan but was also realistic regarding the expectations of my case. Ultimately the outcome was both favorable and equitable. Richard is an expert litigator. There are not enough stars to give this team. Both Jen and Richard were beyond amazing in my time of vulnerability. This was not the first time I have used this team for legal support, but this one meant the most. The compassionate energy accompanied by knowledge, options and ease in the process was everything I was looking for in council. I do not recommend calling this law firm at all! Jennifer took my money & withdrew from the case 1 month before a court date left me high and dry because she didn’t feel comfortable representing me because my family pay my attorney fees and I have arrears!! Jennifer knew I had arrears before taking on this case ! That’s the whole point of hiring Jennifer to help me get child support payments modified!! Jennifer if you’re so concerned with my arrears you should’ve did your job and kept track of everything to help me! Or better yet refund my money back so I can put it towards my arrears. This law firm does not keep in touch with you at all! You have to call them to get updates that’s how they get you by incurring more fees!They keep you in the blind about your case , it seems as if they do not care at all they aren’t compassionate or empathetic ! I hired Jennifer in April of 2020 they dropped the ball & had the wrong jurisdiction so the case had to be transferred to another county in October months went by I was never kept in touch on what was going on , I called Fulton County Courthouse to see if I had case/was the case transferred the clerk told me no it was no case! I called law firm to tell them what the courthouse said next thing I know the case was transferred to Fulton very quickly !!! This law firm drag their feet they don’t do things with a sense of urgency at all, I got a court hearing & Jennifer withdrew from the case & took my money ! Do not call Jennifer for help she will leave you for dead!!! Jennifer wasted my time & money!!! Money gone down the drain which she has done nothing at all!!!

Had a good experience (as much as you can have while going through a divorce and having to involve lawyers). I felt I was listened to, my child's best interest was kept in mind, they were tactful, and kind. They were also understanding of my financial constraints and didn't try to wrack up unnecessary expenses. Fair warning that sometimes I felt I didn't get a response fast enough, but I only write this here to remind anyone and everyone that this is standard with all lawyers, as difficult as it feels in the moment.
