Divorce is a very hard time for anyone, but Rita made the process smooth, easy, & not as painful. She made sure to go over the paperwork thoroughly with me making me comfortable with everything that it said so that I clearly understood all of the legal jargon. She told me everything to the letter to expect at the filing and it went quicker than I expected. It is not my recommendation that everyone get divorced, however, if it becomes necessary in your life, I recommend that you seek the services of Rita O'Keefe.

When I was going through my divorce, we hired Erin to mediate the child custody agreement. Before walking in, emotions were high and things were very stressful. Erin came into the room with extreme confidence and a calm demeanor that eased the tension in the room immediately. She directed the conversation in a very matter of fact manner, and offered up a very level and honest opinion. It would have been very easy for her to take advantage of an emotional situation and drag the proceedings out overtime so she could make more money. Erin chose to do the right thing and make a strong recommendation that we all agreed was correct. It’s saved me a lot of headache, a lot of money, and a lot of stress on my children. Courtney Mehta has been my Attorney in two separate cases. In both cases Courtney and her team have been professional and courteous in their handling of the sensitivity of the case. I couldn't be more grateful for the experience and outcome I had with Amy and her staff. She showed great professionalism, knowledge of the laws, and great court room demeanor. She was absolutely brilliant when my case went to trial. She asked all the right questions and phrased them perfectly to get the responses we needed without having to be vicious or callous. She definitely helped me to get the outcome that I was hoping for in the ruling. Especially since the other side was difficult to deal with the entire process. What i can't express greatly enough is how Amy kept me calm throughout the entire ordeal. Amy and her colleague Sue were always there for me answering all of my questions and making sure I went into every court date with all the information I needed. Sometimes I would call just so they would make me feel more comfortable about my situation and I could tell they genuinely cared. Amy's entire staff is great, they are very professional but at the same time very personable and down to earth. I never had a bad experience talking to any of them. I came to attorney Andrew Horberg when I was in the most messed up situation, going through a child custody case. After months of trying to represent myself due to not having enough money, as a single mom, to get an attorney, I was totally railroaded by my ex’s lawyer. I finally was able to hire an attorney, and I called Mr. Horberg. I met with him and even since the beginning I felt good about my decision to hire him just by the first consultation. We are currently still going to court, but I will tell you, he said from the beginning he will do everything he can to fight for me, and he has done exactly that. He responds in a timely matter. He listens to all your concerns and takes them seriously, and he really does not play around when he represents you. Our case isn’t over, but so far I can say that he has been great and aggressive like you would want your attorney to be. My custody case is the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my life. I just know by the way things are going, he was the best decision I could have made to represent me in this case. I came to him while I was put in a horrible situation at court. My case is still on going, but I had to give him 5 stars because he is doing everything I have asked and he really cares about his clients and does his best to fight for them exactly the way you would want him to. I was a mess when I came to him because I was getting totally screwed over by the court by not having an attorney. We’re currently at about almost 3 months since I hired Mr. Horberg, and I feel so much more confident about my case by the way he is handling everything. I don’t know what the outcome is going to be yet, all I know is I am very satisfied with how things are going and how he is handling and fixing all the problems I had been put in before I hired him. I will update what happens in conclusion of this case, but I will say, if you are looking for an attorney that listens to your concerns and takes them seriously, responds right away, fights hard for you and treats you like a person and not just out for you’re money, hire Mr. Horberg!

After substituting attorneys, I found out just how poorly I was being represented. If you have a contested child custody matter, stay away! If you have a simple divorce with no children and nothing to fight about, you can give them a shot. I don't want another father waste money with this firm. There are better options. This firm plays a game of checkers when you need attorneys that play chess.

Mr. Paul Frigo has represented me in a 2.5 year battle, post-divorce decree/parenting agreement. I am a proactive, very involved single father of 2 who was looking for more (equal) parenting time with my children.
