I want to thank Anne Laynor for helping me with a dispute I had with my ex over custody that was related to COVID-19. My ex agreed to meditation and Anne helped us work together to come to a speedy resolution. She is an excellent mediator who is extremely fair and truly cares about the children and what is best for them. She is represented by this firm and she has an excellent reputation as a lawyer and a mediator. I don't know what I would have done without Anne helping both families coming to an agreeable resolution. She was always available for a call or to answer an email and really helped to resolve a heated dispute quickly. And one last point, since meeting with Anne for mediation, my ex and I have started communicating effectively and have stopped the unnecessary bickering. Like the other reviewers, I would like to rate this firm higher than 5 stars but Google will not let me. Thank you Anne. I appreciate you helping me and my children out and giving both families a better way forward!

I highly recommend the Family Legal Advocacy Group, particularly working with Sarah Nesbitt for my custody/divorce/QDRO case. She's easy and flexible to work with, is SUPER organized and sharp, retains details and has a super memory about elements in the case. She understands what possibilities and limitations are in your case, and maximizes your money for what is possible to do or not. She's a family person, and knows how difficult these situations are for people, and tries to be factual about what to expect. I highly recommend her/her practice.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Thomas Mulinazzi, Michelle Dauksha and the rest of the staff. Going through a divorce is such an emotional and difficult time but having Thomas and his team on my side was a godsend. Mr Mulinazzi is a seasoned professional. His attorneys are not as responsive or clear with clients. They dropped the ball many times. Currently, spending a lot of money to undo the mess they made of my divorce/custody case. Ask for the owner or choose another firm.

I have been using Corrie and Alicia for close to 15 years and have recommended them to family and friends over and over. Shelly did a fantastic job handling my full trial, divorce and custody case. She knows both the law and the nuances of judges and courts. She listened to me, she provided tough love in private when needed, and fully supported me in negotiations and court. My attorney fees were less than half of my ex's fees and the end result, while not perfect, met all of my most important needs.

My ex wife try to take everything and leave me with nothing and I was working very hard trying to make ends meet and I didn't have alot and he was a man that saw that and he help me so much. I just finalized a year-long custody battle with my son’s father and I absolutely could not have done it without Ethan Dellinger. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but after everything he did for me, it’s the least I can do. I feel that I truly lucked out, finding him, as he came highly recommended by a friend. His rate was reasonable especially for a single mom like myself, and he is very considerate about billable hours. He encouraged me throughout the whole process to not back down on certain terms, how to deal with my challenging ex, and ultimately worked out a favorable outcome for both parties. Throughout the whole process, he was always easy to get a hold of, quickly responsive to emails, and very respectful of my time. Amos Whitney is an outstanding specialist in separation and divorce services. I had a difficult situation that he guided me through in a professional and expedient manner. I was surprised by my wife’s decision to file for a divorce and the aggressive nature of the filing by her lawyer. I was totally unprepared. Amos counselled me to be calm, not escalate the situation and keep my emotions out of it. He explained the situation very clearly and offered several options on how to proceed. I wanted to avoid a tangle and keep the cost to a minimum. He explained how we could do that. He negotiated a de-escalation period and then got to work reviewing the proposed agreement with me. He quickly reviewed and drafted proposed revisions of the terms in my wife's proposal and had multiple discussions with my wife's lawyer. Shortly after that with both lawyers' consent, my wife pulled the complaint and agreed to work on our issues outside of court. We are now in marriage counselling and making progress working out our issues. I am confident that had we proceeded, Amos would have negotiated a very fair settlement. I highly recommend Amos.

This review is long overdue. Ms. Urban is very professional, knowledgeable and assertive as a family lawyer. She righted the wrong that I was experiencing (PG county) and I've been enjoying joint physical and legal custody of my 2 boys for several years now. As a real Dad, this means the world to me. Ms. Urban listened to me and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I was near my end but God gave her a gift, I wasn't referred to her by accident. I was married for 20 years in a seemingly “happy” marriage when my wife suddenly wanted a divorce. Needless to say, I was blindsided and did not know where to begin. When I went to Marla’s law office for a consultation, that’s when I was introduced to Lisa Windsor. Lisa was very professional and personable and made me feel at ease right from the get-go. Lisa was very attentive, listened to all of my concerns and did not marginalize anything. Long story short, through Lisa’s diligent work, she helped to prevent my wife’s lawyer from taking me to the cleaners. As much as I never want to have to see Todd again, I will never use another lawyer ever. Extremely personable and will work to get you the best outcome possible. I have used him for both a family law and criminal case and both times got a better outcome than I would've anticipated. Hiring Todd was a great decision! My case was not a cake walk for him, I was a father of 3 going thru a complicated divorce during Covid-19. I had a lot of divorce questions in general and Covid made things more difficult to move thru the legal system (took an additional 7 months to complete my divorce), despite that he adapted and never missed a beat. Todd used facts and his extensive experience to explain to me possible outcomes at every stage, both good and bad. He did not lie or say things to make me feel good, he said things that made me feel confident I had hired the right person. While you cannot control the outcome of a court decision I am convinced Todd is 1000% the reason I am very satisfied with my outcome; he exceeded my expectations. The support Stacy provided Todd by making sure I had all the needed paperwork and court dates was extremely appreciated. I cannot say thank you enough or express enough gratitude for what Todd did for me and my children. Thank you Todd!

I hired Todd Mohink to represent me when my ex-wife sued me for more child support after my paycheck was already garnished for over 10 years. After paying $3500.00 for his services, all he did was want more money after my ex-wife was writing him emails and charging me $500.00 per email response to each email. That $3500.00 I paid was for him to say one word in front of the judge in Annapolis which was "present". Needless to say I ended up having to pay twice the amount of child support at $2500.00 per month. Do not hire this guy for divorce related matters...it's wasted money.

I am not even her client yet and she provided me with so much valuable information, her time, honesty, and compassion over the phone. I know attorney's charge for a consultation and that can dig a hole in people's pocket especially during this pandemic. I also know that if you are serious about an issue then you pay for someone's knowledge and expertise and move forward from that. Miss Rosalyn actually provided me a 30 minute consult free of charge and that is such a blessing for me. I will never ever forget her and I have never met her in person. She took her time and assured me what the best move for me would be at this given time. She also let me know what to watch out for as far as deception else where which I take that very important because many of us are ignorant and seek help putting our trust in professionals. From this, she shows her integrity and honesty. I love that! Another thing, God before everything. I believe God allowed for us to speak and I am grateful for her time and help. Having Ms. Otieno represent me was truly a gift from God. She represented me for a little over 18 months and, made my first (and, prayerfully my only) experience (with court) so special. I was/am a single mother who had just given birth and, was going through a challenging and heart-wrenching journey with my son's father. Ms. Otieno really took her time with me and, explained everything (document/claim) thoroughly before filing. I truly fell in love with Ms. Otieno and, really admire the woman she is!
