I had the pleasure of working with Lindsay Stanton for my divorce. She was always very professional and helpful. Shelly did a fantastic job handling my full trial, divorce and custody case. She knows both the law and the nuances of judges and courts. She listened to me, she provided tough love in private when needed, and fully supported me in negotiations and court. My attorney fees were less than half of my ex's fees and the end result, while not perfect, met all of my most important needs.

This review is long overdue. Ms. Urban is very professional, knowledgeable and assertive as a family lawyer. She righted the wrong that I was experiencing (PG county) and I've been enjoying joint physical and legal custody of my 2 boys for several years now. As a real Dad, this means the world to me. Ms. Urban listened to me and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. I was near my end but God gave her a gift, I wasn't referred to her by accident. Mr Mulinazzi is a seasoned professional. His attorneys are not as responsive or clear with clients. They dropped the ball many times. Currently, spending a lot of money to undo the mess they made of my divorce/custody case. Ask for the owner or choose another firm.

My lawyer was Amos Whitney and he was like a savor. I had to go throw divorce and it wasn't easy. My ex wife try to take everything and leave me with nothing and I was working very hard trying to make ends meet and I didn't have alot and he was a man that saw that and he help me so much. I would recommend him to anybody that a good person trying

I just finalized a year-long custody battle with my son’s father and I absolutely could not have done it without Ethan Dellinger. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but after everything he did for me, it’s the least I can do. I feel that I truly lucked out, finding him, as he came highly recommended by a friend. His rate was reasonable especially for a single mom like myself, and he is very considerate about billable hours. He encouraged me throughout the whole process to not back down on certain terms, how to deal with my challenging ex, and ultimately worked out a favorable outcome for both parties. Throughout the whole process, he was always easy to get a hold of, quickly responsive to emails, and very respectful of my time. The same goes for his paralegal Jamie who did an outstanding job as well. Anyone would be lucky to have Ethan fighting by their side! Thanks again Ethan and Jamie!

Amos Whitney is an outstanding specialist in separation and divorce services. I had a difficult situation that he guided me through in a professional and expedient manner. I was surprised by my wife’s decision to file for a divorce and the aggressive nature of the filing by her lawyer. I was totally unprepared. Amos counselled me to be calm, not escalate the situation and keep my emotions out of it. He explained the situation very clearly and offered several options on how to proceed. I wanted to avoid a tangle and keep the cost to a minimum. He explained how we could do that. He negotiated a de-escalation period and then got to work reviewing the proposed agreement with me. He quickly reviewed and drafted proposed revisions of the terms in my wife's proposal and had multiple discussions with my wife's lawyer. Shortly after that with both lawyers' consent, my wife pulled the complaint and agreed to work on our issues outside of court. We are now in marriage counselling and making progress working out our issues. I am confident that had we proceeded, Amos would have negotiated a very fair settlement. I highly recommend Amos.

I want to thank Anne Laynor for helping me with a dispute I had with my ex over custody that was related to COVID-19. My ex agreed to meditation and Anne helped us work together to come to a speedy resolution. She is an excellent mediator who is extremely fair and truly cares about the children and what is best for them. She is represented by this firm and she has an excellent reputation as a lawyer and a mediator. I don't know what I would have done without Anne helping both families coming to an agreeable resolution. She was always available for a call or to answer an email and really helped to resolve a heated dispute quickly. And one last point, since meeting with Anne for mediation, my ex and I have started communicating effectively and have stopped the unnecessary bickering. Like the other reviewers, I would like to rate this firm higher than 5 stars but Google will not let me. Thank you Anne. I appreciate you helping me and my children out and giving both families a better way forward!

I highly recommend the Family Legal Advocacy Group, particularly working with Sarah Nesbitt for my custody/divorce/QDRO case. She's easy and flexible to work with, is SUPER organized and sharp, retains details and has a super memory about elements in the case. She understands what possibilities and limitations are in your case, and maximizes your money for what is possible to do or not. She's a family person, and knows how difficult these situations are for people, and tries to be factual about what to expect. I highly recommend her/her practice.

I have been using Corrie and Alicia for close to 15 years and have recommended them to family and friends over and over. It was always clear to me how personally invested they were in helping me and my children. Prudence Upton withheld information that the court could have used to determine the dangerousness of my son's father (her client). My son's father then went on to Kill my son. He is in jail, but Ms. Upton never had to account for her role in this tragedy.

I came to Alicia, unfortunately, in a complicated custody and protective order situation and at a disadvantage, but she managed to settle my case within more than reasonable time, saving me money and time (rare trait to not promote self interest in such vulnerable situation) and with terms that protected the interest of my children, whom are most affected by these negotiations. She ensured that my emotions did not lead the case and was always honest and aware of the possible outcomes. During emotional and stressful times, she ensured that it never clouded the true purpose of the case.
