My mother and I had to revise and create very important documents. Raven worked with us directly, and truly we could NOT have been more pleased. She and all at the office were of course unaware of anything my mother and I had experienced with the sudden passing of my Daddy several years ago, and anything dealing with this and his and her estate can bring up tender memories. First off I would like to give thanks to Heather, Jennifer, Diane, and the rest of the AMAZING team that worked with me on my child custody case. I will not go into details of the case but I will say it was a high conflict case. Heather was not only professional but she showed sincerity in her work, and was an extreme asset in my case. I can honestly say, without her expertise in the field of law the outcome would not have been as favorable as it was. As a single father battling for his two young daughters, I knew I was fighting an uphill battle. Heather focused on the bigger picture instead of just looking at the immediate details of the case. She brought all the positivity up that I provide our children as her main goal. Not only did she bring out the positivity but she provided expert advice for me to conduct on my own in order to help my case. I was advised to seek counseling and I reluctantly agreed, which helped out in the end. I can confirm that Heather and her team are absolute experts in their field. Not only was Heathers advice for me extremely helpful, but her and her team were very punctual and easy to get ahold of. I live in California which gave me a slight disadvantage for contacting them and returning emails during work hours. Regardless, they were always available if I needed to have a quick chat about something that came up. I was very pleased to have such an attentive team on my (and my daughters) side. When it came to our permanent custody hearing I was nervous because I knew the odds were against me. That is until I saw Heather and an entire entourage of legal aids, assistant attorneys, and helping hands that were walking along side her. They were carrying multiple luggage sized carts with notebooks, legal textbooks, trial notebooks for each one of them, and everything else you could possibly imagine that would secure a victory. THEY WERE PREPARED!!! This was one of the most relieving moments during our hearing. Not to mention my ex's attorney brought only a trial notebook that was maybe 1/50th of what Heather and the team had brought with them. As the hearing commenced I was consistently attacked by my ex's attorney and witnesses, which seemed to be the standard. I was even yelled at from one of the witnesses! Heather and Jennifer reassured me the entire time that we were fine and to maintain cool, calm, and collected. This tactic was very useful and showed me that Heather and Jennifer were very experienced and were able to maintain their composure during the very stressful times. And to wrap this up, I can truly say that I gained not only the outcome that I was seeking for custody, but I also gained some new friends. They became friends not because of the outcome, but because I knew they were not just in it for the victory or money. They showed compassion, emotion, and true dedication to getting an outcome that was best for my children. I will forever be thankful for the work Heather, Jennifer, and Diane did for my daughters and me. I hope this review helps somebody out that is in need of an amazing legal team. I hope that more dads that are truly in a situation where they need the best, are able to find Heather and her team and get he help they need.

Got a speeding ticket in Wake County. Received like 15 letters in the mails from attorneys. Called most of them back. He was the only one who called me back. That immediately earned my business. Everyone else had a clerk or front desk person, etc. talk to me, whereas the attorney himself took the time to review my case with me on the phone for 10 minutes. Love the attention and care Carlos brings to his practice and his clients.

Honest, kind and giving are not typical words you hear for a lawyer, but they definitely describe Jeff Horsley. I came to Jeff with a toxic landlord issue and he helped me sort through the mess and got to work fast. He was even very considerate of my finances and told me he would walk me through small claims court instead of him representing me since his fees are so high. Another lawyer would not be that considerate. We appreciate all his help and are thankful we were referred to him.

Horsley Law handled the closing on a refinance for my home. The mortgage company wanted to send out a paralegal to close but I felt more comfortable handling in a law office. Having done this both ways previously I am glad I opted for going to the attorney and Horsley Law was a great choice. Ana was very responsive in getting the paperwork prepared quickly and had no problem with last minute changes. Frank was the attorney handling the closing and was very thorough in explaining what each item was as we went thorough. My wife and I were very pleased with the whole experience and do not see how it could have gone any better.

Charles and his team turned what is typically one of the most stressful experiences of your life into a well thought out journey to get from the nightmare of being accused of Domestic Violence and then a divorce into the next phase of a peace filled life. In my case, Charles won me the protection of a Domestic Violence Protection Order and then had it extended the following year for the maximum North Carolina allows. The facts helped a lot - yet having a client that looks like he stepped of the set of the Sopranos had to make this difficult. Charles and his team invested in all the preparation I wanted for the hearings and divorce process. While many people during and at the end of this process get upset with their attorney; I feel like I made a new friend!

Lillie Ashworth is so amazing. No one ever really wants to need the services of a divorce attorney, however, when a friend recommended Lillie, I knew I was putting myself in the most capable hands immediately. She had the ability to balance what was incredibly personal and emotional to me with the professionalism and the knowledge of the court systems and the laws that we were getting ready to navigate. One of the hardest parts, I found in this process was how long the state of North Carolina makes it, and trying to get through this with the added obstacle of Covid. I know I would have never been able to do this without her keeping me calm and focused on the tasks at hand. Divorce is a business transaction at its core, but she was able to be very sensitive to my feelings while still guiding. She was very organized and kept me up to date on the work that she was doing behind the scenes on my case, I never felt like my case was not the most important thing on her desk, even though I know I was not the only client! She has the ability to look at my situation and not try and fit it into the same box as anyone else. She recognized that every case is different, and make me feel reassured. Lillie researched every aspect of my case and made me feel like she was searching for the solution to my particular problem and challenges. I Retained Lillie to help with separation and division of assets. Shortly after I was served with papers and then it turned into litigation and ended in mediation. Which ended very well for me because of Lillie. She is spot on ! Divorce is personal, but she takes that out of play and sticks to the facts and the law. Evonne Hopkins is very unethical and cruel. My soon to be ex husband retained her as his attorney. She has been "bulling" me for months. She has been making my life impossible. She allowed him to keep my clothes for 4 months. She allowed him to kept my legal documents and is now refusing to return my 2020 business expenses so I can file my 2020 tax return. She refuses to return my stimulus funds which is tax fraud. She has been committing constructive fraud since he filed in November 2020. She is alienating me from my children just to win a case which is based on lies and deception. I will be filing a formal grievance with the Bar Association.

I hired Andrea Doyle as my lawyer for my divorce and she was great to work with! Very professional and kind. I had started the divorce before the Covid 19 started getting crazy but in the middle everything started shutting down. I needed help with an unwanted separation by my wife. Ann Margaret treated everything very professional and I felt like she truly cared about me and my situation. I made an appointment two weeks in advance, I arrived 15 minutes early for paperwork, which I completed. I waited 20 minutes past appoint time in waiting room, then was put in conference room for next 10 minutes, then receptionist came in to inform me attorney was on phone and would be a bit. I was very frustrated just sitting waiting, while the office was quiet and the attorney was working in her office. I finally just left, I own a small business, I would not treat a customer like that, I was very surprised, very unprofessional I thought. If she didn't have time for appointment she should've cancelled.
