For the most part I am satisfied with Hofland & Tomsheck. They solved my court case efficiently with my interest in mind. You don't typically get a play-by-play on what is happening in the courts and what your status might be - you have to reach out through email, or phone to figure that out. But they do provide email updates when major court dates happen.

Mr. Josh Tomsheck is one of the very best if not the best Criminal Defense attorney in Las Vegas. He got me the absolute best possible outcome given the very serious nature of my charges. I am forever indebted. I am so grateful for the job that you guys have done. I feel terrible for those that can not afford the service you provided, or don't realize how worth while it is. The charges against me had the potential to redirect a life that I quite enjoy, others appreciate, and that I consider to have a nice trajectory. I'm grateful for the ability to continue down the path I was headed and not spend the rest of my life struggling to be considered credible. I don't know how you guys feel about me or the work that you do. I imagine that it is difficult to decide who is or isn't worthy of the service you provide. In my cost benefit calculator the future is not as predictable as probabilities might foretell. That is to say that the most repulsive might become the most revered, and the most revered might be steered toward the worst at any moment due to any trigger. Regardless, while I could be wrong about which I might be or become, I am optimistic and like to think that I'll be one of the people that help you feel good about the work you do. I am grateful. I have used Jim for about 7 years now off and on for a child custody case. I actually started using him before he had his own firm. He is very helpful in giving correct information. It may not be what you want to hear but it is what you need to hear. He has good rates and he actually gave me tips on how to save money with him. He was always respectful and knowledgeable. He is very dependable as well. Don't worry he will always show. He actually called me before every hearing to let me know how far away he is. He is very well respected in the courtroom. I am always nervous in court and for the last hearing I had, which was the most important, I wasn't nervous at all. Halfway through, during a short recess, I was smiling and laughing with my family outside the courtroom just before the decision was made. He not only won my case for me but he made it look easy. Not a thing got by him. He was very alert. I felt like there was no way I would lose with him. He takes pride in what he does and I've never seen another attorney have as much passion in their work as he does. Not only would I recommend him, but he is the only attorney I would recommend for family law. I wouldn't be in a courtroom without him. I'd also like to comment on his secretary. She's is so nice and pleasant to deal with. And she always made sure Jim got my messages for him. Very reliable people.

I was referred to Jim Davis by a close friend who is also an attorney. She gave me several references, but said that Jim was the best one to deal with Family Law. So in my book he came highly recommended. When I first contacted Jim, his knowledge and experience of Family Law became very clear. Jim took on my case and made me feel comfortable and painless through an extremely difficult time. While my husband's attorney continued to attack me on a personal level because of my new domestic partnership, Jim was professional, compassionate, fair, kind, and honest. I feel like I could not have had anyone better then him on my side of things. Jim explained things to me at my level of understanding even if I did not want to pursue them. His integrity level and commitment to clients is superb. I would highly recommend Jim Davis if you need assistance with divorce, child custody, child support or anything to do with family law. I was referred to James M. Davis by a friend who had personal experience with their office. I found their office to be fair, knowledgeable, and most importantly, realistic about the outcome and time required to complete my divorce proceedings. The communication between the office and me was professional, timely, to the point, and kept me fully informed throughout the proceedings. Although I was not entirely happy with the outcome of my divorce decree, I do not see it as an issue with my legal counsel representation. I would recommend their office to others.

He called me about a my inquiry on my potential case and he wasn't very pleasant. I was asking for legal advice and he showed no regard for me. He said "Well I don't know what to tell you." As if my situation was beneath him. I didn't like the 3 minute phone call between us. Not because he couldn't help me, that I can understand if "my insurance doesn't cover" his services, but the lack of humanization. If this is what he wants to bring out with his brand, I'm better off without him anyway.

I cannot recommend Carol Barnes enough for anyone dealing with any type of family court issue, especially if you want the focus to be on the well-being of the child or children involved. Carol represented my daughter and granddaughter in a difficult custodial case between my daughter and her daughter’s father. From the time my daughter first met with Carol, she was direct, informative, compassionate and focused on the well-being of my granddaughter. My daughter felt she could communicate her concerns and be heard, which is so important, especially in tough cases. It was a difficult road, but Carol was patient, attentive and responsive each step of the way. She is strong and strategic in court, again with enormous integrity working on behalf of the child at the center. My wife and I won. And this would not have happened without the help of Andrew Zemprazik, Maria and Amanda. This Law Office is LGBT friendly. They informed us about so many things and gave us the confidence to fight for the rights of our kids. Andrew was with us all the way and was quick to respond to our questions. During our court hearing, Andrew made the opposing lawyer Husna Alikhan sound like she needed to go back to school. Everything that Andrew presented to the court was very detailed and it was backed up with valid applicable laws. Husna Alikhan cited an obsolete law during the court hearing. Stay away ! Emily will lye straight to your face. She lies to the courts . I had to hire a whole different law firm to clean up her mess she did with my case. The other law firm was fortunately able to clean up Emily incompetent's work. I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but after seeing every negative review on here Emily dismiss the complaint and blames the client. She needs to start to take responsibility . I wish she would have in my case instead of me having to pay two law firms.
