I have used Jim for about 7 years now off and on for a child custody case. I actually started using him before he had his own firm. He is very helpful in giving correct information. It may not be what you want to hear but it is what you need to hear. He has good rates and he actually gave me tips on how to save money with him. He was always respectful and knowledgeable. He is very dependable as well. Don't worry he will always show. He actually called me before every hearing to let me know how far away he is. He is very well respected in the courtroom. I am always nervous in court and for the last hearing I had, which was the most important, I wasn't nervous at all. Halfway through, during a short recess, I was smiling and laughing with my family outside the courtroom just before the decision was made. He not only won my case for me but he made it look easy. Not a thing got by him. He was very alert. I felt like there was no way I would lose with him. He takes pride in what he does and I've never seen another attorney have as much passion in their work as he does. Not only would I recommend him, but he is the only attorney I would recommend for family law. I wouldn't be in a courtroom without him. I'd also like to comment on his secretary. She's is so nice and pleasant to deal with. And she always made sure Jim got my messages for him. Very reliable people.

I was referred to Jim Davis by a close friend who is also an attorney. She gave me several references, but said that Jim was the best one to deal with Family Law. So in my book he came highly recommended. When I first contacted Jim, his knowledge and experience of Family Law became very clear. Jim took on my case and made me feel comfortable and painless through an extremely difficult time. While my husband's attorney continued to attack me on a personal level because of my new domestic partnership, Jim was professional, compassionate, fair, kind, and honest. I feel like I could not have had anyone better then him on my side of things. Jim explained things to me at my level of understanding even if I did not want to pursue them. I was referred to James M. Davis by a friend who had personal experience with their office. I found their office to be fair, knowledgeable, and most importantly, realistic about the outcome and time required to complete my divorce proceedings. The communication between the office and me was professional, timely, to the point, and kept me fully informed throughout the proceedings. Although I was not entirely happy with the outcome of my divorce decree, I do not see it as an issue with my legal counsel representation. I would recommend their office to others.

I couldn't be more grateful for all the hard work and professionalism that Chris Ford and his staff put into my case. As a single dad, fighting for custody of his young daughter, there were many people that told me that I had no chance at getting custody and that I was wasting my money. Attorney Vincent Mayo recently represented me throughout my custody and divorce case, which concluded after a year. When I first called him, I was at peak crisis-mode, desperate to find someone to help me with my custody case involving my then 1 year old baby. I was terrified about my situation - my baby's safety and well-being was my priority. I was able to consult with Mr. Mayo relatively quickly and he gave me important preliminary information even before I officially retained him. My case required significant motion work. I am in the legal field myself so I know if a motion is well-written or not. All of the motions and documents filed on my behalf were very high quality, professional and persuasive. Mr. Mayo also presented himself very professionally during court as well. I was also very impressed by paralegal Stephanie Stolz. She was always very responsive and helpful and worked very hard on my case. Although my custody and divorce was extremely stressful, it was one less stress knowing that my lawyer and his team were extremely competent and would get me the best results possible.

Jennifer Abrams Law Firm, is top notch and deserves only the highest reviews. I needed to switch attorneys. I contacted numerous attorney in the area and felt pushed off with minimal attention. The first time I spoke with Jennifer, it was 5:30pm on a Friday night and she made me feel validated regarding my concerns and spent enough time to understand my position. Jennifer was upfront regarding her fees and even tried to assist me in finding a more reasonably-priced attorney but I knew in my heart I found one. She calmed me on many occasions and put my mind at rest. Her paralegal, David Schoen, was also extremely helpful in this process and always had answers for me. The team and Kelleher and Kelleher was beyond amazing. I didn't even know where to begin with my divorce but after reading the reviews, I decided to reach out. They were able to get me in for a same day consultation. I met with Mr. Kelleher who was very kind and honest. He explained to me what my options were, gave me advice on what he thought might be best for me based on my situation and gave me information to go home with to think about and evaluate what I ultimately wanted to do. When I didn't file right away, I was expecting to receive tons of calls from the office asking me when I was going to send them the forms, send in payment, etc. They very kindly left me alone but were there to answer my questions and guided me along but let me do things on my own time. Once I was ready to file, they were able to walk me through the process and reached out to the other party so that I didn't have to get involved. I could not believe how quickly and smoothly the process was. Every single person I worked with in that office was kind and addressed my questions, emails and filing very quickly. But again, the biggest surprise to me was how they were never pushy or calling just to get the divorce hurried up and done so they could move on. They always wanted to MAKE SURE this was your decision to make. They were very personal and even gave our emails and cell phone numbers for you to reach out to. I would 100% recommend them to anyone going through a divorce!

I've had several exchanges with Mr. Kelleher and his staff over the last couple months dealing with some difficult particulars about my current custody arrangement. I was able to go to a consult in person, which in the current pandemic I really appreciate the opportunity to do this. Mr. Kelleher was very detailed and thorough in his questions, and was able to offer excellent advice which has saved me a lot of time and money taking my ex to court. They've been really quick to answer my follow up questions as well! I was recommended to reach out to David by a friend. He assured me that David would take care of me as an individual, show compassion as a person and not just treat me like another case. He was absolutely right! I was even more impressed with David's quick responsiveness and his thoroughness. He likes to be over prepared and although my case was not entirely complicated, David had thought of and documented every aspect of the case. I was able to get primary physical custody of my child and everything else that I had requested for. Even though my case is now closed, I still reach out to David if I have questions about it and he immediately pulls up my file and answers everything so thoroughly. My husband left me on Halloween, which was 37 years after our first date. I spent the year before he left nursing him through cancer and I was floored. I had no plans, no money saved, no job, and I was responsible for our son, who has autism. When he left, I was in my final year of the degree I had struggled to finish for most of our marriage. He told me that he would only pay me alimony for two years. I was terrified. How would I pay for health insurance? I would lose our house, and I would probably work until I died. My sister’s husband, a trial attorney, recommended David Jacks. After our first meeting I was so relieved. I found out that I was due alimony for at least half the length of our marriage (or longer). I also found out my husband would be responsible for a lot more than he tried to tell me! David was professional and supportive throughout the process. My husband and I negotiated for almost a year, and David was patient with all of the changes we made. Eventually, David helped me get a settlement that gave me enough alimony to finish school and pay off a house. In addition, I found out I was due half my husband’s retirement, so I wouldn’t be penniless in my old age! My life is so much better than when I was married. I have peace of mind and an exciting future ahead. Everything changed the day I walked into David’s office. I am so grateful I found him. He was efficient and responsive and helped me get what I needed to get on with my life! Though my divorce is over, I plan to keep David in my contacts... just in case I need him again. I highly recommend David to any woman going through a tough divorce with a heartless, selfish man!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! and could not be any happier with how David handled my case. My case was transferred to David one month prior to my trial date and he got on it right away. David and I spoke on the phone for hours going over my case and the confidence he had made me feel like I could not lose this. He was very confident that he could settle this case before trial, he understood my timeline to move out of state and he also wanted to help save me thousands of dollars, and guess what, that is exactly what he did.David is extremely honest and thorough and will tell you what you need to hear and will not bs you. We got the other parent's rights terminated so that we could do a step parent adoption. Ashlee Vazquez is the best. Very nice and all for doing the right thing. Stay away ! Emily will lye straight to your face. She lies to the courts . I had to hire a whole different law firm to clean up her mess she did with my case. The other law firm was fortunately able to clean up Emily incompetent's work. I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but after seeing every negative review on here Emily dismiss the complaint and blames the client. She needs to start to take responsibility . I wish she would have in my case instead of me having to pay two law firms.
