English is out and our case turned over to Finocchio and the "office manager" is a witch. She sent out wrong information to 3rd parties without even speaking to us or Finocchio. Finocchio won't even call us and wants us to sit on our hands until February. I am so sad Caroline left, she was amazing. We are changing lawyers due to the incompetence and attitude from this "office manager". She is rude and inappropriately making moves to ruin cases.

Mr. Baska was one of the best lawyers that I have ever used I have been having him help resolve my 48 suspensions. weather your paying him $0 or $100,000 he treats you the same he makes it his duties to keep all his clients up to date every week especially if you are incarcerated and I'm like him mostly because Onondaga County Da tried to screw him and it just shows how he take his lawyer clients privately and he doesn't tell you things to give you false hope

I hired Mr. Bombardo after researching attorneys very carefully. My husband is a powerful man with connections everywhere, and I needed someone who would not be intimidated and that I could trust to fight for me. Retaining Mr. Bombardo was one of the best decisions I ever made! He took the time to talk to me about all the issues in my case and all my fears and concerns. He answered every question I had. He fought hard for me from day one and even took my call late in the evening once when I had an emergency. He always return my calls promptly. My husband‘s attorney was very aggressive and tried to intimidate me into settling on my husband’s terms. Richard reassured me that his position was unreasonable and that it was a fight I should win. Richard went toe to toe with him and my husband’s strategy backfired. After two days of trial, he was forced to settle. I got a very favorable settlement, and I am eternally grateful for Richard’s representation and guidance through this most difficult of times.

Mr. Bombardo helped me out with a rough situation I was put in. I contacted many attorneys and none would help me in my case except Mr. Bombardo, and I couldn't have asked for a better attorney. If you are looking for a divorce lawyer- do not use Richard Bombardo! There are countless reasons why not to use him. He quoted me two prices for uncontested and contested divorce. My ex and I walked in, signed papers with one small conversation lasting approximately 1 minute while in the office- he charged me for a contested saying we didn’t have things worked out prior, which I believe was $500 more. He then did not answer his phone when our papers should have been ready to sign- he left town for a few weeks and by the time he came back to town my ex wanted everything back that he had originally agreed to. I lost the house and a lot of money. He did not encourage me to go for any alimony even though my ex made 4 times as much as me. Then Richard sent me nasty messages acting as if he were the victim. I walked away from a seven year marriage to a narcissist only to google this guy and get treated like garbage even further. I would not recommend using him as a lawyer at all unless you want to get taken advantage of and walk away with nothing from your marriage and less money in your pocket from this lawyer.

Read your Agreement with Michele carefully. Her office sent me a bill for more than $1,000 over my retainer . They should have informed me I had used up the retainer. In addition, they tried to charge me interest for a bill they said I had not paid, but I had never received. She wrote 1 letter to my ex- and resolved nothing. The above review was written one year ago. In response to Michelle's answer written two weeks ago - how is it that the client made the matter too complicated for you, the attorney? This does not say much for your competence. I retained you to resolve the issue of support payments my ex- had voluntarily reduced. In addition, he owed me past-due child support of over $30K and money for repairs to the house. The binder I gave you had in chronological order correspondence to my ex- with documentation attached for the repair estimates and payments that I knew you would need as they were required via the Separation Agreement. The binder also had a summary of past-due child support in excel spreadsheet format. If there was something you did not understand, you should have contacted me. I met with you in Jan 2017. You sat on my binder for 2 months and billed me for $1,140 as of 3/30/17 which was for "Preparation of Letter." I never received this bill but did receive a statement dated 5/16/17 for $1,148.21 which was the bill plus interest. Yes, you eventually sent a letter to my ex- which prompted him to restore his support payments to the full amount. However, the letter did NOT address the issue of past-due payments in arrears of over $30,000 or the monies he owed me for repairs to the house ($7,500+) which remains unsettled today. I "agreed" to settle your bill for $640 (above my retainer); however, this does not in any way imply that I was satisfied with the results.

Got a ticket on the Taconic, and found this firm through google search. They were quick, responsive, professional, and did a thorough and great job representing me. They kept me properly informed through the entire process. I'm driving more slowly now, but if I ever have a problem again, I would use them without a doubt.

Be careful with this attorney! SNEAKY!!! Watch out for the retainer fee & the first time consultation fee. The problem here is that most attorneys do a free first time consult to ensure fit. It is a high-level session & fees are discussed. Mr. Katz charges $250 for this, while most attorneys are free. You don't even know prior to this what the retainer fee will be. Next MAJOR issue is his retainer language. I was told on the phone that Mr. Katz does what is called an "Minimum Advance Retainer". What this means is that Mr. Katz may give you a $4500 retainer. This retainer is a minimum amount meaning that say Mr. Katz charges $350 an hour for his hourly rate & you only use two hours of his time ($750), you still have to pay him the entire $4500! Basically, he gets an additional unearned $3750 of your hard earned money, because of what again??? Think of it like you're building an addition on your house. The contractor asks for $50,000 up front for supplies & the supplies only end up costing $25,000. He keeps the rest. Sound right to you? Sounds like some shyster stuff to me!
