Brian Cremeans provided me with the best results I could have possibly expected. He is professional, hard working, and busy! I've seen a couple reviews complaining about communication, but M&F use a really nice online portal to communicate pretty conveniently. If you want an atty to spend the day on the phone with you, you're probably not going to get the level of hard work and dedication to providing you with the best results in the end. Having faith in Brian was the best decision I could have made. I was able to sit back and let him do all the work and he came through like a hero. I highly recommend his services.

This review results from an estate matter in 2007 when David McCown was with the firm. With any service you want to believe your being represented with your best interest in mind. This was true then, and now with Mark McCown, I have little doubt the firm doesnt represent clients to the fullest degree possible. The firm actually went above and beyond in an appeal without any charge to the estate. I plan on seeking their advice in the near future on a civil matter.

John Heilbrun worked tirelessly for me on my complicated and atypical divorce case for one long year. He paid no attention to the clock when it came to responding to my concerns, and he addressed all issues with detailed attention. I retained Mr. Russell to handle my dissolution with children and we discussed all options and he helped establish a fair and reasonable shared parenting time schedule with my ex-husband. He excels at negotiations and unlike many people, I understand that there is no winner in divorce/dissolutions/custody matters. It is imperative to reach a reasonable resolution rather than "beating your former spouse in court". I agreed with Mr. Russel that it is far better to try and resolve issues between the parties rather than leaving it up to a Judge. Simply put, there are things that you have to give up in return to acquire the things that matter most to you. Our dissolution was fairly easy and was completed in under 3 months which required both parties to be amenable (not always the case which can drag things out). Mr. Russell also proved to also be an excellent reference when I moved out of state in search of a new job. He is a class act and don't be fooled by his easy going demeanor to mean that he is passive or easily manipulated by opposing counsel. His ability to keep a cool head and calm demeanor allows for a more positive outcome for his clients. He cares about his clients and he will give you straight answers rather than making promises which is often times misconstrued by the lay person who may not understand the processes of litigation. Cathy Cook’s office provides efficient and excellent service. Her associate attonrey, Ethan Arenstein, is very direct, knowledgeable, and does a great job of setting expectations. Ethan does a great job of remembering the details of your case and uses billed hours very effectively. The firm is very responsive to their clients. The retaining price is higher than other firms, however, the billing of hours is extremely fair which is what matters most. They will not nickel and dime you for questions that may arise and will charge you maybe for 10 minutes for several email exchanges. Tasks are delegated to their paralegal, Scott, when possible to save their clients money. I highly recommed using Cathy Cook and her staff on your family law case. Her staff is very friendly and courteous.

I contacted this office in seek of counsel to represent myself in a multi state child support case. I am not from Ohio and after searching and reading reviews I decided to reach out to Cathy's office. The legal assistant was extremely friendly and very helpful. She scheduled a consultation for 1pm today. Cathy whom I'd read such glowing reviews about was rude, abrasive and just overall unprofessional. She repeatedly cut me off and had the audacity to tell me that I was "unprepared." I am consulting you in order to decide whether or not to pay you to complete a service, I am not asking for a favor. Your job is to be prepared and advise me what I need to provide you with in order to do your job. If I'd taken the Ohio bar then her assertion that I was "unprepared" may hold credence. Cathy also made rude and inappropriate innuendos regarding my reasoning for pursuing the over 30k I am owed in child support. I am extremely taken aback by this interaction and considering today's climate and taking into consideration the experience from the other people that have reviewed this attorney there's only one line that can be drawn as to why I was treated in such a manner. I absolutely would not recommend.

I am an attorney and have known Blake for many years. My wife is from Canada and we had to deal with immigration. I initially looked into handling immigration on my own. I called Blake for advice and he gave me very accurate information as a friend. However, as I quickly found out, immigration issues should not be handled by anyone other than an immigration attorney. Divorce was a very difficult period in my life fighting emotional turmoil, financial risks, and child visitation. During this process Edwin Vardiman from Godbey law was my rock throughout the entire divorce. It is nice to know that someone has your personal interests always in mind as their clients can be in an emotional cloud and not thinking clearly while their soon to be ex spouse is trying to take them to the cleaners. Ed is very easy to talk to both as a hired lawyer but also dealing with apposing council and magistrates. The response time via email or phone call was always punctual and answered my concerns in a simple easy non-legal way that I could comprehend. As a result of my positive experience with Ed I have currently referred three coworkers and a friend to him to complete their divorce.

I am sure that they have been good for some but I would use the company with caution. I have had some of the worst follow though that I have ever experienced with a company. Also their attention to detail is lacking which is very concerning from a law firm. If you have another option I would recommend that you go that route.
