My wife and I have worked with Mr. Crawley for a year and a half. We have been really impressed with his patience and kindness through an exceedingly challenging and emotional custody trial process. We have been grateful for the rapid response time to calls and emails - usually within a couple hours. With so many issues to focus on for our case, he was able to easily identify which issues to focus on and build a strong case around those issues. He has been an incredible advocate and resource for us throughout these proceedings. He has always kept us up to date on what he’s working on, what he’s filing, and what he needed from us to ensure we had the strongest case possible. My wife is transgender, and Mr. Crawley worked to ensure all the court documents had her preferred name and pronouns throughout. He also worked hard to ensure he always used the correct pronouns in meetings and throughout the court proceedings. We’re so grateful for the support of him and his office staff!

I really appreciated the honest discussions Patrick was able to have from the very first phone call. He set clear expectations for me from the beginning on what the most likely outcomes were based off his experience in this area. I valued the feedback and was able to plan accordingly from those expectations. He was kind and explained the process throughout. During court the comparison to Patrick and the other lawyer was night and day. He far exceeded the professionalism and preparedness of the other lawyer. Through a difficult time for my family Patrick was kind and caring for us all. Patrick made me feel that the issues causing the divorce weren’t all mine and that I was not in trouble. With my situation I could no longer interact with my wife and Patrick then did all the communications relieving me of my anxieties. Patrick is very much a family man and knew immediately my priorities. Patrick has changed my opinion of lawyers for the better. When I realized that my marriage had crumbled beyond repair, I was living in another state although my residency was still in Oregon. I began searching for an attorney, who was in Eugene and could represent me. Sara had good reviews, had been practicing for 20+ plus years and I got the sense that she was a no-nonsense but empathetic attorney who would represent me fairly. She was all that and more. She was kind but firm, succinct and direct in her responses and was definitely my advocate from the beginning. I am extremely grateful for her guidance and expertise and would recommend her without hesitation.

When I realized I needed a divorce attorney, I read many reviews and decided on Sara because her clients’ descriptions and her own words on her website suggested a person who would use her knowledge and experience to give me a realistic and honest understanding of the situation. Also, she had taken cases that were not easy wins and had a well-rounded liberal arts education likely providing the capacity to see multiple angles and consider non-standard circumstances. In addition, she seemed highly intelligent, articulate and valued high standards for her own character and her work. All of this proved to be true. The office of Sara and her husband John, a mediator, is totally run by the two of them; they have no secretary to answer their own phones and copy papers. This helps cut down on expenses and gives you a sense of connection with them as people and a legal team. When I first met Sara, I did not have the money for a retainer or anything more than the amount required for a first meeting. However, by the end of listening to her initial advice, I had a good idea about what I could fight for and what would probably be a losing battle. Sara does not play games nor does she coddle you and this is exactly what I wanted: someone to tell me the absolute, unvarnished truth. We kept in touch during the first months of my separation and when I was able to get the retainer, she was careful in her use of these funds. At the end of each month, she sends a statement explaining how the money was used. It was very straight-forward. Since divorce is an emotional roller-coaster, it is sometimes tempting to seek encouragement and solace from your attorney, but you have to remember that every conversation you have costs her time and your money. With that said, she was extremely fair and amicable through it all even when I was rattled. There is no doubt that Sara is your advocate during the process. She will fight hard for you, but she works from a foundation of decency that is based on the understanding that this is not a battle to squelch and ruin the other person. She embodies the belief that the goal is to seek a final judgment that is fair, honest and honorable. I wouldn’t have had it any other way and would recommend her to anyone seeking a divorce.

If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT USE LILLIAN WATSON"S SERVICES!!! She has no idea what the laws are. She is incredibly unprofessional. She has zero people skills. We tried to use her as a bankruptcy lawyer and she knew NOTHING about bankruptcy laws. Yet it's in the name of her business. During COVID she completely shut down her firm but didn't tell her clients. Her assistant Stephanie did her job for her and when she quit, nothing moved forward in the firm. We had a couple of meetings with her via ZOOM and she looked like she had just rolled out of bed and had nothing prepared to talk to us about. She never knew our case. She was horrific to try and deal with and very unorganized. The only good thing she did was file our case.

I needed to do my estate planning and I reached out to them for the first time. I worked with Lillian and her staff and everything was accomplished in 10 days. There was some confusion with the staff, but that's because Lillian did me a favor..........a great bunch of folks to work with!!!!

Contacted them. Set up zoom meet 2.5 wks out. On that day they had internet problems I was okay with it. Told me they'd contact me when back up. I had to call them later in the day to set up for next day. Next day came they told me I was double booked got pushed later. Prior to meeting I filled out some documents electronically and they didnt have it for some reason. It was as if she didnt even know the secretary had me fill it out and sent them back. Anyway had meeting and the price I was told by secretary was 1150 court cost included but the attorney told me she makes the prices and 1600 was hers and that didnt include court cost. I said okay you have great reviews with 20yrs exp. I'll go with you guys. She said I'd be receiving docs to sign through the mail in few days. Never got them so I contacted them multiple times to get the forms and had never got them nor have they ever tried following up. Dont know why they haven't or didnt but its their lost of money. Wouldve wrote you a check for full amount as soon as I had the docs but I'm glad I didn't cause I found a diff office who actually knows what their doing like the price and following up :) I cant believe they have such good reviews. Hope more people speak up. Dont get screwed just because someones got 20yrs experience. It doesnt mean they're great at what they do or care about you. Sometimes rookies are more hungry and outperform veterans ;) Rate zero if I could.

I was told at my consult that she had years of experience, she does not perform as a professional attorney. Her staff failed to properly file my case documents, they withheld documents from opposing counsel and same documents were requested multiple times to resubmit. I was charged multiple times for same documents. I wasted time and money on this attorney. She didn't handle either of my 2 cases in a professional manner. I was charged for her to review how to submit documents to the court, that was never completed or filed. I feel this attorney preys on people who need advice and direction- I failed to get advice that should have been provided. Over charged and falsified double billing, when I left this attorney failed to respond about false billing and double billings. I show have reported her to the Oregon Bar Association. But it's too late now. This attorney is unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Don't hire her, you'll regret it. She is lazy, she released attorney-client privileged information to opposing counsel to aggravate respondent and cause more issues with case.

Although I ended up getting what I want, there was so much stress and frustration. I’ve spent thousands on papers we didn’t use once in court. There small little hidden fees. My case was a custody issue so dealing with my daughter was very hard and emotional for me. That being said I would have appreciated more compassion , understanding and listening from Sarah. I felt like I wasn’t heard and the answers I would give we’re shoved to the side or some how not good enough. If it weren’t for her assistance who is an angel. I’m not sure I would have stayed. Over all I did get that I wanted but it was about $10,000 to cry and stress out. Everyone has there opinion.

Despite the complications involved (I am from out of state), Sarah sounded confident that she could get sole custody for me. And she did. She and Mesa were always there to calm me down when this case made me anxious, they made sure I understood the legal processes at work and that I understood my options. Mr. Jones was everything you could ask for in family law representation. He handled my case in the middle of covid which family law in its self is hard enough but with that on top of that he did an outstanding job. He answered every question I had easily came up with a game plan that suited my situation. And walked me though every step of the way. When I first went to Mr. Jones being a father when it comes to the courts I was incredibly worried. I ended my case With paying a reasonable amount for incredible service. I typically utilize attorneys to do a deep dive into detail to find areas that are detrimental to my situation. This firm did nothing but charge me a lot of money with no attention to detail and no suggestions to better my standing. They placated to my ex and the other attorneys and made no suggestions or changes on my behalf. It was 100% one-sided. I came out of my divorce with nothing and the other party with everything. Nothing positive came from this. I could have done nothing and come out better. It still haunts me today. Their lack of oversight and concern on my behalf during the process was and is staggering. Go elsewhere for solid representation.

I highly recommend Cassandra Snelling as an attorney. Her specialty is family law and she was excellent in her representation of me throughout my divorce process. Been with this law firm for years. I was represented by Joel, he was amazing!!! Professional, and in control. But in 2020 he retired. I went back the firm knowing they had great lawyers. I was given Cassandra, we talked and she seemed ok. I let her represent me, it was a small court proceeding. She was a nightmare. When talking to her on the phone she would not answer my question, so I would have to ask her in another way. This was time consuming and costly. I'm still shocked on how bad she represented my character. I look bad in the courts eye because of how she represented me. She seemed not to care much. At the end she was smiling and felt she did a good job. Still shocked about that. This is just my experience with Cassandra. After working with her. I truly miss Joel, if you have a good attorney KEEP THEM & PRAY THEY DONT RETIRE :-). I know this law firm has great lawyers. I just got the bad apple.
