I don't even know where to begin to say how thankful I am of this law firm. I contacted them over a custody situation. I met with Lindsey and explained to her, she asked questions and drew up the papers, only after going over them to make sure everything was correct did she file with the court, she never once told me things I wanted to hear, she always told me the truth even though I might not have wanted to hear it but it sure helped me to go into court with an understanding of what could or could not happen. We went to court 3 times and Lindsey was very professional and had everything together to present our case, she knows her stuff, she worked along side Amanda and they decided what was best for the case and not. We won our case all 3 times due to their diligence in wanting what was best for the children involved. I highly recommend this law firm, everyone there is respectful and nice and let me tell you Lindsey had to talk me down a few times and she did very respectfully. I can't say enough good things about them so if anyone needs an attorney I do recommend them. Thank you to Lindsey for everything!!!

Would not recommend. Zero stars. Does not care about conflict of interest or slandering former clients when they don't do what she wants, she tries to bully them into it. She looks very unprofessional and is always fumbling in the court room and tripping over her words. 1 star is very generous, seeing as how she will play both sides and milk money from both parties. She even tried to set up an illegal meeting on a Saturday without the other parties attorney present. Very unethical and has no shame.

Ms. Bryant took the time to help me about a slum lord. Mind you, the time was about an hour and a half. I bought a trailer from a man on his property on Rocky Rd. Liberty. He has about 5 more trailers. I played $275 toward the trailer and $150 lot rent. I lived there over 3 years so happy to be living in the country. I made the trailer and land like my home. Once I payed the trailer off my happy country life changed..The slum lord doubled my lot rent and he did other things to try to make me leave that I'd rather not mention on this platform. The main thing is about a great attorney that took so much time to write out a countersuit for me. After she new who the guy was ( who is known for this in this county) and I was a vet on a fixed income. She charged me nothing. I mean not a dime. It meant so much to me for her to do that. I guarantee you no other attorney would take time to do that except Ms. Bryant. By the way. If she runs for judge. She'll win and have my vote.

I got the courage to leave my abusive ex, went to Mingy with my entire case. She heard my whole side and hired my now ex husband because he had money in hand. I went on to win my complete case, everything I asked for was granted to me, including my divorce. Now I have an order of protection against my ex husband, and he is wanted for homicidal intent against me and my children. So hope that cash in had was worth the conflict of interest Mingy!

No one wants to go through a divorce. However, if you do have to go through a divorce it helps to have an attorney who is human and who has compassion and empathy for your situation. The process can be confusing and sometimes overwhelming so you need an attorney who can help you navigate the legal hurdles and who can help you understand what needs to happen. Rachel Upshaw is incredibly professional and very responsive. She was always there when I needed her. Joellyn was also very helpful and was very responsive to questions. If you need a divorce attorney I highly recommend going with Rachel Upshaw. She cares and will help you get through this.

Mrs. Miller has represented me for over 9 years now as my ex-husband has been using the legal system to continue harassing me after divorce. Karla is very alert and attentive. She has great memory, very organized, very knowledgeable, and detail oriented lady. I have enjoyed seeing her cornering him in every single court hearing and deposition. She, and her team, put alot of effort digging into proofs and weaving them together to prove our points. I was extremely satisfied in my last court hearing watching her questioning my ex, proving and documenting all the perjuries and fraud he is committing. She led the Judge to say that this is one of the top 5 most outrageous perjury cases he has seen throughout his career in law as an attorney and as a Judge.

I've hired previous Attorney on my divorce case and wasn't working on my behave. A friend recommended Brad Frakes, and I am very pleased with how Mr. Frakes handle my divorce. So my soon to be ex husband and I are looking to file a pro se divorce. That is an uncontested divorce, filed by a single party with no debts shared vehicles and with an agreed upon arrangement for the sharing of children and payment if child support ( you have to specify your divorce as including kids or not and workout your parenting plan ahead of time). After printing the paperwork off, however, I wanted advice and a professional double check I had worked it out properly. Not only was the ENTIRE STAFF SUPER COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL but Audrey Lee Anderson was extremely professional and helped with all the fine details. She was a blessing to find and worked with both of us to ensure and notarize everything. I was able to file myself, as we wanted as little court interference as possible and she went over and guided us through everything step by step. Her office is lovely, her personality is fantastic and she ABSOLUTELY HAS THE CHOPS TO HANDLE LARGER MORE SERIOUS CASES. If I ever needed a family law or divorce attorney or knew anyone who did she would be my first recommendation. You have to remember that in life: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and most lawyers with consultation fees have them because they are investing serious and caring thought in to your case from the moment you walk in. After having dealt with lawyers in my life for everything from family law to property law I can ASSURE EVERYONE READING THIS THAT SHE IS A PHENOMENAL ATTORNEY! We may have only needed guidance but I cannot stress enough how nice it is to know where my future attorney would come from if I ever needed it. Just a couple of things. 1) her address on google is not the address she is at (on google on 10/30/20 says 2nd street). 2) obviously because of that the pictures do not reflect her current office. The picture on google shows her near a bookcase. The office I saw had loose papers everywhere and file boxes all over the floor 3) you have to pay full price before even seeing her. Not a hold, but full price. Found this out afterwards. See #6 4) I showed up at the proper time and called day before, her team confirmed on the phone that my appointment was confirmed and said I’m good. They also said I would receive an email which I never did. 5) her office overlooks a putt putt golf course if that means anything 6) when I showed up on time, she dismissed me to be on speaker phone talking to someone about Porta johns. Made me wait 15min 7) finally when she got done, she said no one expected me because I “didn’t pay”. When I asked what the protocol was and what the cost was, the her office couldn’t log into square to bill me, I said I will make another appointment and she proceeded to wave her hand in the air to dismiss me and said “fine”. Take it how you want it. I’m definitely not giving five stars because I went to 2nd Street location and she didn’t even comp me for my parking. They also didn’t offer water or ask how I am doing while I waited. But also not giving her 1 star because we really didn’t talk that much. But take this lesson however you want it Update: nov 8 Thanks Audrey for your response. I have change the address for you to be the correct one now. Your welcome and after reading your response I have reduced the star rating.

Attorney Thornton represented me and was wonderful. It was emotional for me and looking back I am so glad I had her in my corner. Although she didn’t call me every day, I know she was trying to keep my fees down because she was extremely reasonable with her fees and time. I know that she has a lot of other cases because she is great at what she does, but she would work behind the scenes and gave me updates as I requested. I appreciate her not trying to rack up unnecessary fees or expenses at my costs. She didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear, but she was straightforward and I respect that because she didn’t give me false hope. I knew what to expect whether I liked it or not. She also let me know anytime there were delays and why and continued working my case through COVID and all the shutdowns when things ran slower. Looking back I may not have always liked what she told me, but I know without a doubt she was honest with me. Her staff was wonderful and kind especially Jesse! I hope i never need another lawyer but if I do I will call her again.

Do not hire Amanda Thornton as your divorce attorney! I’ve never publicly written a poor review, but feel it’s necessary in this circumstance to help others. She doesn’t care about her clients’ outcomes and does absolutely nothing to fight for them. Ms. Thornton never offered any guidance and only did the bare minimum even when asked directly for advice. It’s very obvious she chooses the path of least resistance for herself. She’s very slow to respond (sometimes 2-4 weeks on important, pressing issues) and just blames everything on Covid. I wish my friend had chosen someone else as I believe the outcome could have been very different.

So happy Hunter represented my family in a custody case that pretty much had been dragging on/off for 3 years. Three attorneys later and I finally didn’t feel like my money had been wasted! Although my case was complicated and during covid, Hunter still was able to get me the most favorable outcome in mediation! I greatly appreciated Miranda, who was always quick to email or call back with any and everything. I personally haven’t experienced such responsiveness when it comes to attorneys and their offices. If my family needs services in Tennessee in the future, we will definitely use Hunter again. Can’t recommend his office enough. My family and I are now getting ready to move to the beach with family.
