Today is one of the best days of our family's lives. Let me start by saying, Jason was hired one week before trial for my sister's CPS case, she was facing termination of rights over her 3 year old daughter. Jason came in with a bang, He stood out the very first day of trial. He took what he had and ran with it. He is very knowledgeable and he is a genuine person. He was always so attentive to our needs, answered all calls, and even met with our family after hours to accommodate us. I put my faith in Jason and he executed in court and outside court. They lied to me about a Motion they claimed to have filed with the court, but had not. I am contemplating whether to sue them for malpractice. I didn't know they had cheated me until my other lawyer, from a different firm, looked into it and the court informed her they had never recieved the Motion. Justin Niedens informed me on multiple occassions that he had filled it, and I was counting on it being filled. I guess he thought I was too dumb to double check.

These people dont care about your case, they just want you to pay the retainer, and as soon as they do they just stop communicating with you. I cant even get my attorney to respond to my emails, only the paralegal, and it take two weeks for the paralegal to get back with me.

Oh they gave a convincing song and dance in the beginning. They made me feel like it would be quick and easy. After a year and THOUSANDS of dollars, my relationship with my teenage daughter is ruined. Mrs. Whitley and her firm never advocated for me. Her paralegals take WEEKS to reply to any questions. If you're lucky enough to get a reply, you will be nickeled and dimed for every call, text, and email. Two of my friends and I ended up firing her. I only wish I had fired her sooner. After reading the other negative reviews, it sounds like this is common practice for the Whitley firm. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I searched for over a year for a divorce attorney that I felt comfortable enough to take my case and who's retainer was not $8000! I felt at ease instantly the moment I spoke with Jennifer at our first consultation. I expressed every concern I had and Jennifer listened patiently to every word and concern to help me come up with a game plan. It is evident through my experience of working with Jennifer that she has genuine compassion and concern for her clients and is not driven by a dollar bill. She was strategic in putting together the initial documents to serve my ex- husband to help mitigate any initial volatility that I was expecting on his end once served. Jennifer was a true advocate of trying to handle things through mediation as best as possible so we could avoid an expensive trial. Much to my surprise, my ex and I were able to come up with an agreement and our divorce was settled in about 4 months without a trial! From start to finish, Jennifer and her staff were prompt in communication and they were all extremely pleasant to work with! Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the field. We consulted with Margaret in March 2019 to represent my sister for her divorce. From the moment we met Margaret, we knew we had the right person in our corner. Her knowledge and caring demeanor made a very ugly situation as painless as possible. During the entire process, Margaret kept us informed of what was going on and was readily available for any questions. She fought hard for my sister and the outcome was more than favorable. In October of 2020, following the death of my sister's son-in-law and unforeseen death of her daughter to Covid-19, we had to retain Margaret's services to handle the adoption of my sister's grandson. I can not say enough good things about Savannah Garcia and The Law Office of Rebecca Carrillo. I live in TN and was served for a custody case in San Antonio. Not only did Mrs. Garcia calm my nerves, she listened to me and walked me though the process. She’s was extremely prompt, and understanding even when I had a hard time composing my thoughts. This case was over jurisdiction of child custody, she was well versed on the topic and did her due diligence to make sure the outcome was in our favor. My case has been a complete and total nightmare. The only thing which has made the last year of my life bearable is the diligent and dedicated work of this firm, specifically, Lisa, Kay and Jessica. My divorce is still on going and I have not been able to see my children in over a year, as their mother took them and fled to California. These wonderful women have communicated and cooperated with my California council to ensure I am getting the best representation both in Texas and California. Kay calls on the weekends to check to see if I have heard from my kids. Jessica is always available when I have questions. Lisa has been a staunch representative of both my rights and the rights of my children. I cannot say how thankful I am for the effort and consideration provided me by this firm. I would hate to see anyone go through what I have, but if they do, I would tell them there is no one who can take better care of them than Lisa, Kay, and Jessica.

From the first day we spoke with Lisa Vance and her office we have felt like we were going to be well taken care of. Lisa is a great listener, she is compassionate, and she is assertive. She has many years of experience in family law and her dedication to thoroughly advocating for her clients is comforting. She has the strong support of her staff and many colleagues to collaborate with in all areas. Any and all questions are answered in a timely fashion. We know that when we step into court with Lisa at our side we are in good hands and we can count on her protection. Update: 07/20/2021. Nine months later, and close to $50,000 less in our life savings, nothing changed. A recommended friend that Lisa Vance strongly encouraged the to court use , Dr Dina Trevino, totally fell short of her time and visits on our behalf and wrote a horrible report against us and greatly encouraged others to do the same once her report came out. Up until that point we were “excellent” Caregivers for our grandchildren. No, we are not angry and bitter, just feel you should know the truth as we experienced it. Even Lisa Vance herself turned on us in the end with ugly words stating we would not be a part of our grandchildren’s life if we did not continue to keep her on and fight the endless ugly battle. It’s so horribly ugly in the courts, if you are looking for an Attorney, best of luck to you. The court system is severely broken. May God Bless our children, May He protect those that cannot protect themselves.
