Very professional. Came to this lawferm during a rough divorce. The first senior lawyer I talked to was very kind and understand. He actually passed me on to a junior lawyer to save me money. This proved to be a great choice. They asked for about $4500 up front to tap into as they work your case. Was pleased with my representation and would recommend to others.

Michael has worked for me on a custody battle in the past as well as on a criminal case in the past and is currently working a tenant landlord case. One cannot put a price on a piece of mind, something I felt from very 1st consultation. Never did I question his integrity or knowledge. To me he brings to life the term "to show up and show out." My favorite line when promoting him to someone I know seeking legal aid "once you retain him you know he is in your corner because you talk to him often not an assistant or a voicemail or just emails" Michael has answered the phone for me at 3 a.m. and has talked me through what could have turned into a panic attack. He is very capable of explaining all the legal terms and has never made me feel that my questions or concerns were ignorant. Oh they gave a convincing song and dance in the beginning. They made me feel like it would be quick and easy. After a year and THOUSANDS of dollars, my relationship with my teenage daughter is ruined. Mrs. Whitley and her firm never advocated for me. Her paralegals take WEEKS to reply to any questions. If you're lucky enough to get a reply, you will be nickeled and dimed for every call, text, and email. Two of my friends and I ended up firing her. I only wish I had fired her sooner. After reading the other negative reviews, it sounds like this is common practice for the Whitley firm. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Called explained my case. Open and shut with breach of contract by lease agreement. Lady who i was speaking was completely negative saying we don't take cases like this can't help you. Must pay 750, and not sure if we can recover it in judgment. Completely negative. Wouldn't want them representing me in court.

James Meyrat was very professional and courteous handling a family matter for me. My wife’s attorney pulled the wool over my eyes and talked me in to signing a document I didn’t fully understand. James was able to file an appeal and have the document reversed on my behalf. I highly recommend his services to anyone going through separation or divorce. Hire an attorney before hand. Don’t sign anything you don’t fully understand!

We consulted with Margaret in March 2019 to represent my sister for her divorce. From the moment we met Margaret, we knew we had the right person in our corner. Her knowledge and caring demeanor made a very ugly situation as painless as possible. During the entire process, Margaret kept us informed of what was going on and was readily available for any questions. She fought hard for my sister and the outcome was more than favorable. In October of 2020, following the death of my sister's son-in-law and unforeseen death of her daughter to Covid-19, we had to retain Margaret's services to handle the adoption of my sister's grandson. Atty Ms. Flores was very knowledgeable and understanding of the laws in Texas. She had no problem answering every question I put before her. I am older and have health issues and she had a narrative that she followed which led me astray slightly but we got on track eventually and the point was made with help by my son who also attended the zoom meeting. The 4 was given because the meeting was costly whereas I could have gotten a meeting for free elsewhere. Hence, though, my point.. you pay for the best!

I searched for over a year for a divorce attorney that I felt comfortable enough to take my case and who's retainer was not $8000! I felt at ease instantly the moment I spoke with Jennifer at our first consultation. I expressed every concern I had and Jennifer listened patiently to every word and concern to help me come up with a game plan. It is evident through my experience of working with Jennifer that she has genuine compassion and concern for her clients and is not driven by a dollar bill. She was strategic in putting together the initial documents to serve my ex- husband to help mitigate any initial volatility that I was expecting on his end once served. Jennifer was a true advocate of trying to handle things through mediation as best as possible so we could avoid an expensive trial. They lied to me about a Motion they claimed to have filed with the court, but had not. I am contemplating whether to sue them for malpractice. I didn't know they had cheated me until my other lawyer, from a different firm, looked into it and the court informed her they had never recieved the Motion. Justin Niedens informed me on multiple occassions that he had filled it, and I was counting on it being filled. I guess he thought I was too dumb to double check.

These people dont care about your case, they just want you to pay the retainer, and as soon as they do they just stop communicating with you. I cant even get my attorney to respond to my emails, only the paralegal, and it take two weeks for the paralegal to get back with me.
