Miss Whitley dug me out of hole and was able to get a previously horrible lawyer off of the case. She acted quickly to reverse what was turning into a very bad outcome. In the end the truth was revealed, and my ex realized he would not get away with lying in court with my current lawyer.

Oh they gave a convincing song and dance in the beginning. They made me feel like it would be quick and easy. After a year and THOUSANDS of dollars, my relationship with my teenage daughter is ruined. Mrs. Whitley and her firm never advocated for me. Her paralegals take WEEKS to reply to any questions. If you're lucky enough to get a reply, you will be nickeled and dimed for every call, text, and email. Two of my friends and I ended up firing her. I only wish I had fired her sooner. After reading the other negative reviews, it sounds like this is common practice for the Whitley firm. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Mr James Peterson was heaven sent. I had reviewed 10 lawyers and a friend of mine suggested him. Turns out he was a reasonable price and very very honest. I searched for over a year for a divorce attorney that I felt comfortable enough to take my case and who's retainer was not $8000! I felt at ease instantly the moment I spoke with Jennifer at our first consultation. I expressed every concern I had and Jennifer listened patiently to every word and concern to help me come up with a game plan. It is evident through my experience of working with Jennifer that she has genuine compassion and concern for her clients and is not driven by a dollar bill. She was strategic in putting together the initial documents to serve my ex- husband to help mitigate any initial volatility that I was expecting on his end once served. Jennifer was a true advocate of trying to handle things through mediation as best as possible so we could avoid an expensive trial. Much to my surprise, my ex and I were able to come up with an agreement and our divorce was settled in about 4 months without a trial! Jennifer and her team did an amazing job on protecting my assets and interests. Divorce can be a nightmare for anyone to go through, but her team made this process as efficient and easy as possible for me. We retained Wilson Brown PLLC for a step-parent adoption case where the other party(biological father) resided in another state . When we first spoke to Eric he felt confident in our case. We consulted with Margaret in March 2019 to represent my sister for her divorce. From the moment we met Margaret, we knew we had the right person in our corner. Her knowledge and caring demeanor made a very ugly situation as painless as possible. During the entire process, Margaret kept us informed of what was going on and was readily available for any questions. She fought hard for my sister and the outcome was more than favorable. In October of 2020, following the death of my sister's son-in-law and unforeseen death of her daughter to Covid-19, we had to retain Margaret's services to handle the adoption of my sister's grandson. Again, Margaret acted promptly and efficiently. There was never any hesitation on who should handle this very sensitive matter. I cannot give enough praise to Margaret. I had hired another attorney in the beginning who was basically going to railroad me. She took a large amount of money and was going to do the least amount of work she could get away with. When I fired that attorney and hired Margaret I was pleasantly surprised to find someone who was willing to back me up and go to bat for me. They lied to me about a Motion they claimed to have filed with the court, but had not. I am contemplating whether to sue them for malpractice. I didn't know they had cheated me until my other lawyer, from a different firm, looked into it and the court informed her they had never recieved the Motion. Justin Niedens informed me on multiple occassions that he had filled it, and I was counting on it being filled. I guess he thought I was too dumb to double check.

These people dont care about your case, they just want you to pay the retainer, and as soon as they do they just stop communicating with you. I cant even get my attorney to respond to my emails, only the paralegal, and it take two weeks for the paralegal to get back with me.

Atty Ms. Flores was very knowledgeable and understanding of the laws in Texas. She had no problem answering every question I put before her. I am older and have health issues and she had a narrative that she followed which led me astray slightly but we got on track eventually and the point was made with help by my son who also attended the zoom meeting. The 4 was given because the meeting was costly whereas I could have gotten a meeting for free elsewhere. Hence, though, my point.. you pay for the best!

I had a child support issues, a few tickets and I felt defeated. Ms. Roberson took the time to explain what was going on and make sure there was a game plan. My cases started before Covid-19 and due to courts being closed it feels like the cases took forever. However she was able to get all warrants cleared and set up payment plans with the courts. All I had to do was listen to her instructions. I recommend Ms. Roberson and if I ever need an attorney again.... SHE IS MY GO TO!

I had the worst experience with this law firm. They are responsive but don’t tell you your being charged for the slightest thing. Example, email response as simple as a question, I was charged the hourly rate of almost $50. Be ready spend mad money. I dropped Mrs. Roberson because my bill was close to $5000 and nothing had been done. (edited today after I posted earlier) And now I get a phone call from the head partner, am I getting charged for that too.? Ain’t funny when you have nothing to lose and a weight is lifted. Thanks for taking money I could have placed elsewhere Jaclyn.
