Very disappointed in the manner of treatment by this “law firm”!!! Phone calls were not returned in a timely manner. I was passed off to a person they called their PI for discovery information. After many, many phone calls to KC, I was finally told we would move forward. This was a civil matter… and as a senior citizen, I wanted help. KC wanted a retainer for more than the case involved would produce, which was absurd!!!! I found this very unprofessional, and extremely poor customer service!!!

As a Board Certified Criminal Defense Attorney in Texas i am very cautious who I refer clients to these days. There are many lawyers who simply "advertise" how good they are and could not try their way out of a paper bag much less a criminal trial in Texas. Holly Fuller and Debra Money are AMAZING. Holly made it extremely clear she would take care of me on my case and she has kept her promise during my entire trial! She answers every question I have, regardless of how in depth she has to explain it or how any times she has to explain it. She has always responded to my emails and my phone calls. If she is busy she will let that be known in a professional manner and then respond to me when she has a free moment to do so. She is extremely understanding and patient. Debra is constantly keeping me up to date with my trial. She will email me over the tiniest of information that she feels needs to be addressed. I have called to ask her numerous questions and each time she makes sure I understand and that we are on the same page when it comes to everything. I have NEVER had a negative experience with either Holly or Debra. I would refer anyone to Holly Fuller in a heartbeat.

Giving one star is far more generous than deserved. I’ve called her office multiple times and got a voicemail each time. After leaving multiple messages, I never received a call back. This was over a week of calls to the office. I’ve gone as far as to come to the office in the morning in an attempt to secure an appointment and, although the office hours state 9:30am, nobody is ever there at that time, which is the time I’ve showed up twice now. If you are looking for an attorney who does not return calls and is very difficult to get a hold of, this is your best bet. After several failed attempts with this office, I was able to secure the services of another local attorney who returned my calls within the same day. I understand attorneys are busy, but not returning calls over the course of a week is ridiculous. When going through a divorce, it’s important to have communication with my attorney. I’ve read several good reviews about her, so I’m not sure if these reviews are from family and friends or from clients who used her back before she got “busy”. I recommend going with an attorney and office who has time for you, time to answer questions, and is not a week plus out on returning calls - if you’re even lucky to get one. After doing my research, I’m glad I chose another office. I’m very disappointed in the “service” or lack there of.

Don’t waste you time and money. I went to this office for a Divorce. He did not fight to be on my side. The other parties lawyer called him, instead of Cameron fighting for my rights he basically gave in. A lawyer should know all your legal rights, you can even google it. So I lost all my money and case cause he didn’t have the courage to stand up for my case. Real shady lawyer. His assistant are always too busy and forget to relate messages. I don’t recommend this place at allllll.

I had real estate issues in Texas, but I live in another state. J. Cameron Cowan and staff went beyond what I expected, having never met them in person. Divorce can be emotionally and financially devastating . There is no good time. Lawyers, like other professionals, generally charge about the same rates. That's where it stops and we're left with the old adage, "The price is what you paid, but the value is what you got." Let me tell you, there's a chasm rivaling the Grand Canyon between common price and exceptional value and Jane-Ashley McMillan, Counselor is standing on the side of that canyon you want to be on. It's not just anyone's divorce, it's your divorce, your life, your kids, memories, financial security and mental well being. I had a complex situation financially. The urge to argue through lawyers - succumbing to anger, frustration, resentment is not an intelligent thing to do for anyone. Although, it can be a profitable for unscrupulous attorneys. In retrospect, what I needed was someone to manage me as well as the process; guide me through it; ensure I was protected; and -- that my spouse got a fair settlement, because she'd earned it. The problem was, I didn't know that going in. I just knew I'd found the best reference I could through all my lawyer friends. Thank you Jane-Ashley McMillan.

I am replacing a scathing review with this one. I do not believe Jennifer Richardson intentionally damaged my children's future. On the surface, parental alienation is extremely difficult to identify, and she was not alone in dismissing my claims, refusing to examine the evidence, and blindly moving forward. In fact, no one took me seriously. It seems surreal that a mother would intentionally, using covert methods, cause so much emotional and pyschological harm to her children just to punish someone else. Covert narcissists are just that--covert. It's insidious, pervasive, and it's the children who bear the brunt of it, yet even while screaming it from the rooftops, with a plethora of evidence, I discovered that people simply do not want to accept the reality, and prefer to dismiss what is not readily apparent because it requires less emotional investment on their part, or because "there are worse parents" out there. Jennifer is just a person, and I'm sure has seen the worst of parents working as an amicus. My prayer is that she will be more alert to this in the future.

I was referred to Jennifer Richardson over two years ago. I was told that she was a straight-shooter who knew her stuff. That is not even scratching the surface. Jennifer is professional, knowledgeable, well spoken and passionate about what she does. She IS the exception to the cliches about Lawyers, as she is funny, sensitive and has a heart for her clients and their situations. With Jennifer Richardson on your side, you feel empowered, regardless of your legal issue. She has made such a difference in my life and the lives of my family. It is impossible to overstate the level of competence and integrity of these attorneys. I have known Jennifer Richardson and Stuart Brown for many years. From day one, they have demonstrated exactly the sort of humanity, congeniality, professionalism, graciousness, kindness that just blows you away. I wouldn't say that I would get a divorce just so I could use their services; but, sssshhhhhh, my wife just might. Ha. She knows them and loves them too. Their clients adore them. Natalie Gregg and her office made an stressful, emotional, and mentally tough process a lot easier to manage. Especially Amanda, Mary and Natalie! If you put in the work and give them the necessary tools to do their job they do so at the top level.
