And Erin was able to break it all down into simple, manageable steps for me. She was extremely professional and courteous. She went above and beyond. My allotted time was 30 minutes but due to the complexity of my case, she spent a full hour with me. After a few questions about our billing, accountant Victoria Zuniga, went above and beyond to help us understand our billing account and what the bills related to. Her customer service was excellent and sets an example for the rest of those that work at the firm, as to how you treat a valued client. Mr. Chase really knows about business and family law. We consulted with him about a business contract issue. A family member has used these people and they do not work professionally at all. They do not work for YOUR best interest. You will lose any case if you work with this firm because they simply care about other things that do not pertain to your case. On top of that thir work is sloppy. Ms. KUTCHER is extremely unprofessional. There is a difference between aggressive in Law and being just down right silly. I will not pay again. Another reviewer is waiting for a refund. I dont think myself and my family member can recieve one at this point. Good luck to those who try these people out.

Not the best law firm for custody. Ms. Crutcher is unprofessional and many other people have stated that. I have paid alot if money and hoping to get some kind of help. A reviewer refered this law firm to be a "child abuse law firm".

I hired the Gregory Law to represent me and recieve legal counsel for my uncontested divorce. The initial lawyer I spoke with referred me to an associate lawyer within the office a few days later. I was extremely disappointed with her attentiveness and means of counsel. The only time the divorce progressed was when I directly contacted her on the issue, followed by request of next steps. For each point of contact, I was charged $50. In the last month in the process, they requested I pay more into the retainer because money was running out (1,500 dollars) and to pay for preparation for mediation, which was taking place in 3 days. If I did not pay my mediation (already rescheduled twice) would need to be paid until retainer was added to. I had a balance of 1200 in my retainer already. When I inquired, the attorney stated is was for processing/preparing paperwork and talking with me about the wanted outcomes (which didn't occur). I paid the money. Once in mediation, the mediator was counseling me more than my lawyer. My lawyer would only step in with terminology issues, not to insist on what was in my best interest. I tried to be as fair as possible with my exhusband but once talking with friends and family I got taken advantage of, and I believe it has a major part to do with my lawyer. It would have been nice to have someone fight for me and represent me properly.

Initial contact was short and full of self endorsement. Then no contact with Marva. Only received contact through her employees. Now that the divorce decree is finalized (reconciliation). They seem to be delaying my refund of the amount they convinced me to deposit to retain their service. I have recently posted on Facebook and received a lot of attention from the attorney that was supposed to be concerned with my divorce. This has been since approximately Oct/2019. Also charged for her not being able to contact my wife’s attorney because supposedly not responding to a fellow attorney. How this should be my Finanical responsibility I don’t understand but that’s what happened. Now I am just trying to recoup my remaining monies. Thanks for your attention. J L JONES.

From our experience they are honest about how they spend your payments and are not greedy like other attorneys/lawyers. That is hard to find. You don't have to worry about the situation with them. I hired Mary Ramos for my divorce matter and came back to her for my child support matter. Great attorney. Very knowledgeable in family law. She knows how to handle difficult opposing sides. The mother of my children was not an easy person to deal with, but Mary knew exactly how to work around her attitude. She is definitely an attorney who cares about father's rights. I will always recommend her to everyone I know who needs help with family law matters. Thankfully I have my kids living with me and I get to be such a hands on dad because of her. Since my case has been completed, I hear she's become board certified and won a few awards. Late congrats to her on her success. Mary is one of the absolute best family lawyers in Houston. I retained her services for a very nasty custody modification my child's father brought against me that had mountains of allegations and spanned nearly five years. She was my fourth attorney on this ugly case. She is very smart and knows the law. She was able to quickly see issues and apply law where three previous attorneys had overlooked. She is direct and tells her clients what they need know, even if they don't agree (and you really need this). She devised a trial strategy that I initially didn't agree with, but we prevailed thanks to her experience and guidance. Her staff is incredible. They are very well organized and very responsive, ensuring that we followed all court rules in a timely manner and that our trial exhibits and support were ready. I was facing what every other super lawyer in Houston had told me was an impossible case to win, but Mary pulled me through. I owe her and her firm everything. She really is the best of the best.

Ed Davis made the divorce process extremely easy. You could file on your own, but why? Fill out the form on his site and he basically does the rest… a few months later- Boom! Divorce is final and you’re left wondering why you hadn’t called sooner. I’d definitely recommend him for your legal needs.

Secured Mr. Reiner's services to send a demand letter and negotiate terms of a settlement with my previous landlord. Successful conclusion after many many dozens of emails back and forth. Mr. Reiner was professional, a good legal writer, and was quick to respond to my emails, answer my questions, return my phone calls, and work on my case in general. He did a lot of work for the money I paid him, considering how long the negotiations dragged on. Almost took away 1 star just due to his advice being slanted at times towards ending the negotiations quickly rather than seeking the absolute best outcome for me, but I honestly can't blame him too much because, as I said, the negotiations dragged on for awhile. Thanks for the help!

After my wife passed away, I realized a few additional items of her estate needed to be finalized that required I probate her estate. After contacting a few lawyers in the Houston area, I found Mr. Reiner's attitude and eagerness to help to be the deciding factors in hiring him to help me through the probate process. Scott was fully up to speed on everything involved in the process and lead me through each step needed, making it as easy as possible for me. We were able to handle much of the process digitally, which was a great boon to my busy work schedule, and he was very flexible in setting up the needed court dates. He completed all filings perfectly and in a timely manner, saving me from any return actions. I highly recommend Mr. Reiner for anyone needing to go through the probate process!

Travis Eaton is an excellent attorney. I was referred to Travis by a friend when my son was looking to hire an attorney to obtain custody of his daughter. I don't usually do reviews unless it is truly warranted and deserved. Quite honestly, I found Mr. Eaton on google, made some 3rd party inquiries, and ultimately decided on his law firm. It was a divorce matter with some complex child custody issues. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. It was a very stressful time for myself and i just wanted to give in to the other party. I'm grateful that Mr. Eaton kept me on track, focused on my parental rights, and achieved an ideal outcome. Highly recommend. The reviews of Mr. Eaton are accurate - the positive ones at least. We never know what we don't know but i can personally say that i would choose Mr. Eaton again and would recommend him to anyone.

Hee Jin Chang represented me in a nasty divorce with many hours of mediation. UPDATE: They are finally issuing my retainer refund today. However, I also just received the actual invoices and I am flabbergasted at these charges! They charged me $2,300 to file the paperwork with the County and then file the non-suit, 10-days later. That's all they did. No interviews, records requested, financial audits - nothing, because I changed my mind about moving forward 10 DAYS after initiating the suit. If you call this firm to handle your case, you'd better be prepared to spend $20k-30k+ based on these invoices. My attorney charged me $96.25 per email she sent me (most of which were two sentences or less) based on their 15-minute minimum "policy." ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nine weeks after closing my case they are still holding my remaining retainer funds. They keep telling me to “wait another billing cycle, per their policy” but even after waiting TWO cycles, I still do not have my funds. They keep telling me they’re talking to their billing department but no updates come, and still no refund.

Where to start about Rebecca Rowland. She eagerly misrepresents facts in court and she made a very homophobic remark to me on the second phone call and I immediately called her out for it. In return, Rowland attempted to use her position as appointed amicus to get even with me. Rowland’s unmitigated rage at me caused her to openly and blatantly misrepresent verifiable facts to the court. And with my background in criminal investigations for the Army, I had this “lawyer” pegged from the start. Rowland lied to me twice on the very first phone call . She lied about taking the virus seriously, even though all 6 visits to my ex husbands house was without a mask on, as well as her unprofessional attitude about her refusal to contact another teenager that lived in the house, as well as allowing witness tampering In my opinion.. I gave Rowland information regarding a domestic abuse issue going on at my ex husbands house and it took her close to two weeks to go over to my ex husbands apartment to investigate, AFTER informing my ex husband of the reason why she was coming to his house. Ex husband immediately grounded our daughter from talking to her own mother, otherwise known as witness tampering, After realizing the unprofessional, and truth defying nature of Rowland, I immediately started to BCC ALL of the correspondence between Rowland and I to the court coordinator (I highly recommend this tactic) to lessen the “she said” “she said” scenario I knew was about to unfold. Rowland absolutely refused to come to my home for a home visit, as is required, and then attempted to misrepresent the facts in court saying I only gave her one weekend to visit. Except, I gave 4 weekends and when I told her that I had BCC the court coordinator on the three emails that offered up 4 weekends to include screen shots of the texts I sent as well (knowing all too well she would lattempt to slander and misrepresent the facts and just say she didn’t get the email, which is exactly what she did) offering up four weekends. Rowland’s bias was on full aggressive display at final trial before she was discharged and a new court representative appointed. I find Rowland’s behavior unprofessional, obstinate, vindictive and wholly biased towards my ex husband. Her lack of moral fiber and character is an absolute stain on the legal community as well as the courts. I absolutely believe she used my child as a tool to punish me, and every judge should know what she does and how she conducts herself. Rowlands rates may be cheaper than other attorneys out there, but you get exactly what you pay for with Rowland. Rowlands total lack of communication and professionalism with me as pro se, and the court is extremely alarming and a full investigation should be conducted into her behavior immediately. I of course will follow this all up with the Texas State Bar.
