After a few questions about our billing, accountant Victoria Zuniga, went above and beyond to help us understand our billing account and what the bills related to. Her customer service was excellent and sets an example for the rest of those that work at the firm, as to how you treat a valued client. Her work and the time that she took to spend with us and make sure that we understood everything and were satisfied, was exemplary. Sent a buddy over to Johm who was going through a really bad divorce and family law issue. He was kind of embarrassed to leave the review so I am. A family member has used these people and they do not work professionally at all. They do not work for YOUR best interest. You will lose any case if you work with this firm because they simply care about other things that do not pertain to your case. On top of that thir work is sloppy. Ms. KUTCHER is extremely unprofessional. There is a difference between aggressive in Law and being just down right silly. I will not pay again. Another reviewer is waiting for a refund. I dont think myself and my family member can recieve one at this point. Good luck to those who try these people out.

Not the best law firm for custody. Ms. Crutcher is unprofessional and many other people have stated that. I have paid alot if money and hoping to get some kind of help. A reviewer refered this law firm to be a "child abuse law firm".

I hired the Gregory Law to represent me and recieve legal counsel for my uncontested divorce. The initial lawyer I spoke with referred me to an associate lawyer within the office a few days later. I was extremely disappointed with her attentiveness and means of counsel. The only time the divorce progressed was when I directly contacted her on the issue, followed by request of next steps. For each point of contact, I was charged $50. In the last month in the process, they requested I pay more into the retainer because money was running out (1,500 dollars) and to pay for preparation for mediation, which was taking place in 3 days. If I did not pay my mediation (already rescheduled twice) would need to be paid until retainer was added to. I had a balance of 1200 in my retainer already. When I inquired, the attorney stated is was for processing/preparing paperwork and talking with me about the wanted outcomes (which didn't occur). I paid the money. Once in mediation, the mediator was counseling me more than my lawyer. My lawyer would only step in with terminology issues, not to insist on what was in my best interest. I tried to be as fair as possible with my exhusband but once talking with friends and family I got taken advantage of, and I believe it has a major part to do with my lawyer. It would have been nice to have someone fight for me and represent me properly.

Initial contact was short and full of self endorsement. Then no contact with Marva. Only received contact through her employees. Now that the divorce decree is finalized (reconciliation). They seem to be delaying my refund of the amount they convinced me to deposit to retain their service. I have recently posted on Facebook and received a lot of attention from the attorney that was supposed to be concerned with my divorce. This has been since approximately Oct/2019. Also charged for her not being able to contact my wife’s attorney because supposedly not responding to a fellow attorney. How this should be my Finanical responsibility I don’t understand but that’s what happened. Now I am just trying to recoup my remaining monies. Thanks for your attention. J L JONES.

Worst attorney experience ever. Charged us 8500.00 and did nothing other than file a few documents. I could not sleep at night knowing that this is how I conducted my business. If you want to lose your case and throw money away, this is your guy. One star is more than I would offer as a review.

Getting a divorce was nothing I wished for. It is a time of confusion, despair and worry. Tina and staff were so amazing during every process. Any questions I had, Tina answered immediately. This is VERY valuable to a person who ask a lot of questions and is also very inpatient. Matt and Tina at Skillern law firm are 2 of the best lawyers in Fort bend County and Greater houston area. Matt and Tina were able to defend false allegations against me from my previous spouse which could have resulted in my children being taken away from me. Matt was able to win me 50-50 custody and grant child support in the form of self supporting my children when in my custody. This is what I wanted and prayed for. Hee Jin Chang represented me in a nasty divorce with many hours of mediation. UPDATE: They are finally issuing my retainer refund today. However, I also just received the actual invoices and I am flabbergasted at these charges! They charged me $2,300 to file the paperwork with the County and then file the non-suit, 10-days later. That's all they did. No interviews, records requested, financial audits - nothing, because I changed my mind about moving forward 10 DAYS after initiating the suit. If you call this firm to handle your case, you'd better be prepared to spend $20k-30k+ based on these invoices. My attorney charged me $96.25 per email she sent me (most of which were two sentences or less) based on their 15-minute minimum "policy." ORIGINAL REVIEW: Nine weeks after closing my case they are still holding my remaining retainer funds. They keep telling me to “wait another billing cycle, per their policy” but even after waiting TWO cycles, I still do not have my funds. They keep telling me they’re talking to their billing department but no updates come, and still no refund.

I hired Mary Ramos for my divorce matter and came back to her for my child support matter. Great attorney. Very knowledgeable in family law. She knows how to handle difficult opposing sides. The mother of my children was not an easy person to deal with, but Mary knew exactly how to work around her attitude. She is definitely an attorney who cares about father's rights. I will always recommend her to everyone I know who needs help with family law matters. Thankfully I have my kids living with me and I get to be such a hands on dad because of her. Mary is one of the absolute best family lawyers in Houston. I retained her services for a very nasty custody modification my child's father brought against me that had mountains of allegations and spanned nearly five years. She was my fourth attorney on this ugly case. She is very smart and knows the law. She was able to quickly see issues and apply law where three previous attorneys had overlooked. She is direct and tells her clients what they need know, even if they don't agree (and you really need this). She devised a trial strategy that I initially didn't agree with, but we prevailed thanks to her experience and guidance. Her staff is incredible. They are very well organized and very responsive, ensuring that we followed all court rules in a timely manner and that our trial exhibits and support were ready.
