Called about a minor legal issue. Eric picked up the phone and right away asked a few pertinent questions, then told me I did not yet need to retain the services of an attorney. I have been around long enough to know some attorneys will over-complicate an issue, ask for a sizable retainer, start by doing "research", then come to the conclusion nothing needs to be done- oh and by the way, the retainer was burned up doing research which was really just top-of-the-mind knowledge. I retained her services for a very nasty custody modification my child's father brought against me that had mountains of allegations and spanned nearly five years.
