If I could I wouldn't leave a star, I didn't even get to speak to a lawyer the customer service is horrible the phone was answered by a simple "hello" no law firm name no how can I help you, I asked to speak to a lawyer and she said that no one is in the office and when I asked her when can I talk to one she says I don't know when they will be in, she didn't ask for my name, a number they can call back on. After an awkward moment of silence of my waiting for her to ask for my details or for her to speak I hanged up! This is not a law firm because a professional business will at least hire someone with good customer service. Update: Please see response of the owner just to see the professionalism, take ownership for the mistake of your staff, this is not a connection issue as I was calling from the United States and your assumption that I am calling from Russia is just off putting and just weird to even assume that from a written review (FYI I am Canadian in case you want to make another assumption) I did find a good law firm with staff that knew how to answer the phone, announce the law firm's name when answering the phone and actually take my information for a callback.

Had an initial consultation with Mr Busby himself, sharing sentiments and legalities of a heartfelt custody issue. He listened well and understood the angles of proceeding in court. However, the day of court, Mr Busby was a no show. He sent people i had never seen or spoke to about my case. Very unprofessional and infuriating .

This review has been 3 years in the making. I can't believe it has taken this long but I have to do it. They deserve it. This duo are among the most professional attorneys I have ever seen. They are compassionate, experienced and firm. With them, you never feel alone. Michelle Schmidt is a very empathetic person who is very understanding about the plight of domestic violence and different types of abuses. Her husband is a very experienced and knowledgeable attorney who knows the different facets of their practices. Their staff are also a great team of understanding people who work with their clients to get you the best results. Back in 2018 they worked on my mother's divorce and custody case. In my view, my mother's triumphant result was because of their skills as a duo of competent lawyers who care about their clients. We do not regret hiring this group.

My Husband went in for a consultation and he said she was AMAZING! We are looking in to relinquish/adoption and she was very informative. We couldn’t believe the consultation was free. I mean she literally provided us with the process in detail, and gave us helpful tips moving forward even if we chose not to work with her. We will definitely be working with this firm! High level review (5 star+) I worked with Michelle and her team (Vernice and Julie). I am extremely satisfied with the legal service and the entire process. I got all I want including custody as a father with a reasonable cost and time. Detailed review I have never thought about a divorce in my life. But when it became a reality, I had to find a good lawyer who I can trust and encourage me to go through this painful situation. I am thoroughly satisfied with the speed and effectiveness with which Raya Jackson has work at that has turned the tables in my cases' favor. In addition, I was called to the carpet by her at first introduction an honest assessment she gave in her wisdom and professionalism with regard to my personal responsibility to my children's child support payments and have found it necessary to let go of my personal feelings of state-sponsored kidnapping and ransom holding of my children by the other party. I am so grateful and I sleep much better now that I have removed myself out of the way of the restoration of my children's birthright and began again to pay my back child support. Absolutely best treatment ever. I had no idea what I was doing and Brian Walters and Raya Jackson, who are angels, walked me through the steps to get the best deal from my divorce manageable. There were a few hiccups in the end about some of my issues because of my income amount not being properly reflected due to investments, but they were very willing to work with me in regards to price which took a lot of the pressure off. They helped me get a lot more time with my family both currently and in the future as they laid out a very comprehensive visitation plan. Thank you so much for your support and fair treatment!

My personal experience with Mr Burwell was horrible. He didn’t do anything he said he would do. He waits till the last minute to prepare. He gets frustrated and agitated because he’s not prepared. He easily angers when you ask him questions he can’t answer. And when you point out his wrong doing, he will result to belittling you and hung up. DON’T TRUST HIM TO HANDLE YOUR LEGAL MATTERS. You will regret your decision if you do.

Ed is nothing more than a con artist... His hustle is to lure potential clients in with a sign on West Little York that says "cheap lawyer".. Once Ed gets your money, you will not hear from him again. I'm totally shocked that he hasn't been disbarred from practicing law. Just look at all the complaints that has been filed against him.. Not only does he not show up for court, he doesn't notify the client of their court date. I found out about my court date from my wife's attorney.

WORST ATTORNEY EVER. I hired Edward for months and really thought he was doing his job & cared about my case, but I was completely wrong. HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY & NOT CARE. After months having Edward has my attorney Mr. Edward withdrawal from my case out of nowhere. Thank God he did, because after he did, I got a way better attorney & they told me things that Edward never told me and brung up to the judge that would’ve helped my case a lot & made a difference. Worst communication ever. Never picked up calls or answered emails after a week or 2. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE EDWARD BURWELL AS YOUR ATTORNEY.

A family member has used these people and they do not work professionally at all. They do not work for YOUR best interest. You will lose any case if you work with this firm because they simply care about other things that do not pertain to your case. On top of that thir work is sloppy. Ms. KUTCHER is extremely unprofessional. There is a difference between aggressive in Law and being just down right silly. I will not pay again. Another reviewer is waiting for a refund. I dont think myself and my family member can recieve one at this point. Good luck to those who try these people out.

Not the best law firm for custody. Ms. Crutcher is unprofessional and many other people have stated that. I have paid alot if money and hoping to get some kind of help. A reviewer refered this law firm to be a "child abuse law firm".

I hired the Gregory Law to represent me and recieve legal counsel for my uncontested divorce. The initial lawyer I spoke with referred me to an associate lawyer within the office a few days later. I was extremely disappointed with her attentiveness and means of counsel. The only time the divorce progressed was when I directly contacted her on the issue, followed by request of next steps. For each point of contact, I was charged $50. In the last month in the process, they requested I pay more into the retainer because money was running out (1,500 dollars) and to pay for preparation for mediation, which was taking place in 3 days. If I did not pay my mediation (already rescheduled twice) would need to be paid until retainer was added to. I had a balance of 1200 in my retainer already. When I inquired, the attorney stated is was for processing/preparing paperwork and talking with me about the wanted outcomes (which didn't occur). I paid the money. Once in mediation, the mediator was counseling me more than my lawyer. My lawyer would only step in with terminology issues, not to insist on what was in my best interest. I tried to be as fair as possible with my exhusband but once talking with friends and family I got taken advantage of, and I believe it has a major part to do with my lawyer. It would have been nice to have someone fight for me and represent me properly.

Initial contact was short and full of self endorsement. Then no contact with Marva. Only received contact through her employees. Now that the divorce decree is finalized (reconciliation). They seem to be delaying my refund of the amount they convinced me to deposit to retain their service. I have recently posted on Facebook and received a lot of attention from the attorney that was supposed to be concerned with my divorce. This has been since approximately Oct/2019. Also charged for her not being able to contact my wife’s attorney because supposedly not responding to a fellow attorney. How this should be my Finanical responsibility I don’t understand but that’s what happened. Now I am just trying to recoup my remaining monies. Thanks for your attention. J L JONES.

Getting a divorce was nothing I wished for. It is a time of confusion, despair and worry. Tina and staff were so amazing during every process. Any questions I had, Tina answered immediately. This is VERY valuable to a person who ask a lot of questions and is also very inpatient. Tina was wonderful during mediation and even when my divorce was over and I needed MORE help, she was just an email away. Tina truly was the most wonderful lawyer to work with. I will always be thankful for her hard work and guidance.

Matt and Tina at Skillern law firm are 2 of the best lawyers in Fort bend County and Greater houston area. Matt and Tina were able to defend false allegations against me from my previous spouse which could have resulted in my children being taken away from me. Matt was able to win me 50-50 custody and grant child support in the form of self supporting my children when in my custody. This is what I wanted and prayed for. Sent a buddy over to Johm who was going through a really bad divorce and family law issue. He was kind of embarrassed to leave the review so I am. Worst attorney experience ever. Charged us 8500.00 and did nothing other than file a few documents. I could not sleep at night knowing that this is how I conducted my business. If you want to lose your case and throw money away, this is your guy. One star is more than I would offer as a review.

I had the lovely pleasure of consulting with Erin Allen. Erin provided excellent feedback regarding my multiple inquiries. My case is rather complex and complicated. And Erin was able to break it all down into simple, manageable steps for me. She was extremely professional and courteous. She went above and beyond. My allotted time was 30 minutes but due to the complexity of my case, she spent a full hour with me. What struck me the most was not just her clear understanding of the law, but her warmth, empathy and genuine compassion towards me; something not very common in my experience with attorneys. Her customer service was excellent and sets an example for the rest of those that work at the firm, as to how you treat a valued client. Secured Mr. Reiner's services to send a demand letter and negotiate terms of a settlement with my previous landlord. Successful conclusion after many many dozens of emails back and forth. Mr. Reiner was professional, a good legal writer, and was quick to respond to my emails, answer my questions, return my phone calls, and work on my case in general. He did a lot of work for the money I paid him, considering how long the negotiations dragged on. Almost took away 1 star just due to his advice being slanted at times towards ending the negotiations quickly rather than seeking the absolute best outcome for me, but I honestly can't blame him too much because, as I said, the negotiations dragged on for awhile. Thanks for the help!

After my wife passed away, I realized a few additional items of her estate needed to be finalized that required I probate her estate. After contacting a few lawyers in the Houston area, I found Mr. Reiner's attitude and eagerness to help to be the deciding factors in hiring him to help me through the probate process. Scott was fully up to speed on everything involved in the process and lead me through each step needed, making it as easy as possible for me. We were able to handle much of the process digitally, which was a great boon to my busy work schedule, and he was very flexible in setting up the needed court dates.
