After two horrible experiences with family law attorneys, but not willing to give up the fight for my son, I decided to give Matthew Hill an opportunity. My initial consultation I was on the defense with Mr. Hill because of my frustration with my divorce decree and an ex who I felt was breaking the decree left and right and “getting away with it”. I was very open about what I wanted changed (and it’s quite a bit) but most importantly wanted my son to come to school with me, as I am a teacher. He was quite blunt, telling me what I wanted would need to happen in steps, if at all, and he can’t guarantee the outcome. Frustration set in again, but didn’t last long. After multiple phone calls/emails (that were ALWAYS answered right away) *** Thank you Tina (she is very knowledgeable and empathetic) *** we were able to have a court date to set a temporary hearing. Hill was professional, calm and very prepared. 3 hours later, my son is now enrolled at my school and the rest of the details played out in my favor as well. We are still working on other issues and Tina and Matt have continued to be just as responsive, professional and “in my corner” as they were from the beginning. I couldn’t be more thankful.

Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

Micah and his team are phenomenal at what they do. MIcah is very diligent about helping keep you calm during a daunting process. He not only holds you accountable to what you say is the right thing, he will push to make sure you are keeping the long term abreast of mind especially when there are children involved. There were times I confused how calm he is in the pocket with a lack of aggressiveness, but that couldn't be further from the case. When it was crunch time, he delivered without me having to compromise my principles. Micah and his team also push the most amicable way to solve issues which you may not feel good during the process, but means the world when it is over. I would highly recommend Micah and his support team especially Kimberly.

This review is long over due. There is no way to put into words how wonderful my experience was with Micah and Kim. Divorce was the most difficult life experience I’ve ever had to navigate. The thoughtful and caring guidance I received helped me maintain my sanity throughout the process. I was an emotional mess and unable to make decisions. I appreciated the calm and calculated approach to handling the seemingly endless and often ridiculous attacks from the Ex. Despite the circumstances I actually looked forward to meeting with my team. I can honestly say that I miss seeing my new friends at this office. Possibly more importantly, my case was settled efficiently and ethically. I hired Micah Royer to help me with child support modification and enforcement. I reside out of state, so I trusted Micah to handle everything without me ever having to be present. What is normally a fairly simple process was unsurprisingly challenging due to the other party, but Micah and his paralegal, Kim, took a very trying situation and handled it with care and ease. I always felt that Micah had my best interests in mind and was ready to do whatever was necessary to see those interests pursued. He is not only skilled at what he does, but he handles his cases with compassion and care. It is easy to see that he truly cares about his work. Absolutely, hands down, the best family lawyer in Austin. I cannot thank Ben enough for assisting me in a very difficult child custody case. He is honest, articulate, and really cares about his clients. I feel fortunate to have had him on my side through a difficult custody battle. When I started my search, I visited websites of many attorneys and it almost seemed like an impossible task when every website seemingly look the same. But just after spending few minutes on Ben’s website, I knew right away that I found an attorney who would be able to help me. I was really impressed by his straightforward explanation of how he does business, his credentials, and reviews from other clients. I ultimately decided on Ben after speaking with him. Ben worked very hard on my case. He takes that extra level of care when you need it most, responding to emails and phone at night and on the weekends. This was very much appreciated. Ben Carrasco is an excellent and attentive attorney. He defended the enforcement of a pro se settlement agreement at my hearing flawlessly. We consulted with Margaret in March 2019 to represent my sister for her divorce. From the moment we met Margaret, we knew we had the right person in our corner. Her knowledge and caring demeanor made a very ugly situation as painless as possible. This man was an ad lietem for my daughter and she is a troubled teen. He is placing her in an unsafe environment with a family member known for abuse and sexual abuse. They are drug addicts and prostitutes and he wants my teen girl to go live with these people OUT OF THE STATE OF TEXAS SO HE CAN GET PAID . He does not care about anything but the money. period. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE OR CHILDREN,what so ever. He is very rude, calls people names,he is a snake. HE IS A SHARK OUT FOR HIS OWN. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCUM. I would love to express how amazing David Kazen and Mary his legal assistant are in handling my case. He has defended me through unjust accusations and fought for my daughters and myself . Both he and Mary possess such an empathetic demeanor throughout my case and have been comforting and helpful during our professional time together. They both have had ethical and legal advice the entire time, and never made me feel like I was less than an important client. In times where I have been worried about ongoing issues occurring I have been able to reach them immediately even on the weekends. I would highly recommend David Kazen's girl to anyone needing a just and ethical family lawyer to represent them in their case. I only wish I had of found him sooner as the other attorneys I worked with in Austin were unethical in many ways and did little to nothing to help end this process. David took over our case after our attorney passed away. His office came recommended from our precious attorney’s office. David jumped in and listened to our case and circumstances and was fully committed. David was even not too familiar with military retirement issues but allowed us to be fully involved in every step and was appropriately aggressive with opposing council to encourage a timely response.
