I would like to point out that you get what you pay for. With that being said, the service I received with Mr. York and his staff was above and beyond. Out of all the attorneys in Navarro County, Robert York is the answer when it comes to family law and divorce. Robert has been representing me since April 2017 and I have been nothing but impressed so far! He is someone I highly recommend and I know for a fact by watching other attorneys in the court room that Robert is the best of the best. I know from personal experience he is always two steps ahead of the other party and always comes to court prepared. He is very sharp and knowledgeable! Robert truly does care about his clients. Robert York has been our family lawyer since March 2017. He and his office staff are very welcoming, and Bryn, his paralegal, is an absolute blessing. I have hired Barbara 3 times for modifications to my custody with my son’s father. She has always been the utmost professional. She is strategic and highly intelligent. She has integrity and will always be honest with you and with the court. While she may be more expensive than some attorneys in the area, she is worth every dime. I hired a less expensive attorney for my original custody fight & regretted it. I would have come out cheaper in the end had I hired Barbara from the beginning. I can’t sing her praises enough! I highly recommend her. You won’t regret hiring her! Her staff is also always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I'll preface this review by saying this firm was unable to take my case due to the specific court in which my traffic ticket will be held. I was calling around looking for a lawyer to take on my speeding ticket and I've had a hard time finding someone. The woman who answered the phone when I called, Marissa, was EXTREMELY helpful. She provided me with a wealth of information regarding the court, the ticket, and was even able to refer me to another lawyer she would recommend to help me. I didn't have the pleasure of working with this law firm, but Marissa was exceptionally helpful, kind and patient and I would absolutely contact them again if I should have any need in the future.

My husband and I were in a custody battle going on for close to a year and a half! Towards the end of it before having a final hearing set we decided to switch attorneys and it was literally the best decision we ever made! Calla did so much for us she was honest about everything and truly looked out for what was in the best interest of her client! If you are honest and you tell your attorney exactly what is going on she will get you the best outcome for you and your family the number one thing is you have to be honest and tell the truth to your attorney they cannot help if you’re dishonest!! A couple months later ...... my husband and I have sole custody of his kids! The kids are happy and our family is now complete!! Thank you so much Calla!!! You are literally the best!!!!

GO WITH BRETT!! Seriously. 5 reasons as to why you need to go with Brett Pritchard. 1. He takes CPS cases ALL OVER Texas. I’m located in ATX & had NO issues. 2. His staff is phenomenal & made me feel at ease as soon as I called. CPS cases can be immensely strenuous & overwhelming. Brett’s staff were not only extremely sweet & informative but on top everything regarding my situation.. if not that day, the following next day. 3. Brett took the time to ZOOM me since distance was a major issue. 4. He was upfront & straight forward about what needed to be done and informed me on everything he was going to do involving my CPS case. 5. The whole process took not even 2 days, him and I were speaking virtually by the middle of the 3rd day. Case closed and dismissed. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else. Trust me.

If I can give this law firm 0 stars, I would. I am utterly disgusted with this law firm. I typically never leave reviews for anything, but this law firm is nothing but a scam. I paid upfront 5,000 for a simple child support/ custody dispute. I can just say, Brett Pritchard and Brent, did absolutely nothing for my case but charge me an arm and leg. Before finding a different lawyer, I have paid triple over the original balance for a temporary order that even the judge questioned what was my attorney expecting. A year goes by with this firm, and my son was about to be taken away from his mother from CPS and yet they still couldn't read up on my case. When the CPS court arrived, my attorney was ill-prepared and even made the excuse he didn't know about the case until the day prior!!! Mind you, I was aware about the court hearing a week prior along with the paralegal, CPS workers, and opposing counsel. This law firm almost made me lose my son to the system if it wasn't for CPS lawyers who was able to put my son into my custody. However, prior to this, my attorney canceled my final hearing 3 times before CPS got involved. Which one, he canceled because of "scheduling conflictions," but when I confronted Brett about it, he said "he was on vacation." THEY CANT EVEN KEEP UP WITH EACH OTHERS LIES. I am filing for a grievance to the board, because a firm who doesn't represent their clients to the best of their ability, or even have the DECENCY to look over a case, then they shouldn't be practicing. And going to find a way to make this law firm black listed for military members. I never want another soldier to go through a scam law firm as I did.

Came here for a child custody/divorce case. Total price I paid, $11,144.75. What did I get from the judge. Expanded standard possession with no child support. I'm the father so of course I lost. No geo restriction on the mother. How much of this was negotiated by my lawyer or the judge. ZERO. No child support was agreed to far in advance of this case. The expanded possession order actually took time away from me. So to me the value was pretty poor. Now, what did I get from the law firm, I got told to do mediation, a $1,400 bill by the way, the mediator didn't mediate, he stirred the pot. Walked out of it with nothing more that what was negotiated without lawyers. I also showed up an hour late to mediation because I was assured that the appointment was virtual. This sort of disorganization continued throughout the case. My lawyer forgot it was a divorce case at one point, never mentioned a word in court about me actually raising my son for the first 2 and half out of his now 3 and half years of age, to the judge. A good many questions I had were also answered in a way that I guess the lawyer thought what I wanted to hear, but then when it came time to actually apply the law it was the exact opposite. So quality is pretty poor as well. My final bill that I just paid was mostly for messages that I asked about enforcement because my ex-wife had already begun violating the order. They charged me an extra $2,000 for that. If you want real legal representation, save your money and hire a lawyer outside of Killeen.

Mr. Williamson helped me get my divorced finalized in 2019 and was up front about everything I had completed confidence in his representation. Since then I moved back to California and had questions about going back to court for re-adjusting support and Mr. Williamson answered all my questions I had on which route to take and how to go about it. I am more than satisfied with his representation and the fact that he still cared and answered questions 2 years after my divorced was finalized says a lot! I would recommend him to anyone looking for professional representation.

Initially, I was skeptical about hiring a lawyer. I wasn’t sure if I even needed one. I’d met with a fairly high number of “lawyers” beforehand, and I was on the verge of simply saying “screw it, I’ll do it myself”, when I decided to give it one last go. That mindset instantly changed when I walked into Mr. Williamson’s office. I was greeted by his wife, and waited less than a minute to speak with him at the consultation. He was helpful, clear, and concise, going as far as giving me helpful advice, even though I’d already shared that I wasn’t sure if I could afford a lawyer or not at the time. Well, I eventually did end up hiring him, and I haven’t regret it in the least bit. He’s stayed reliable throughout the court process. He’s always been either a message or phone call away. I finally feel content and fear-free, and that’s saying a whole lot, considering what I’ve gone through within the entirety of this court battle. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I no longer feel helpless. He and his wife seem to be one of the very few legal teams that seem to actually care about their clients wellbeing. Thank God we found them when we did.

Mr. Williamson provided a refreshingly direct, no-nonsense approach, at a very reasonable cost, and with outstanding results. He and his assistant, Tina, walked me through the whole process, providing me with reassuring guidance and expert advice, making a very stressful situation quite bearable. Patricia Stanley and her paralegal Jenn were awesome! Patricia is the most affordable attorney in Johnson county and the best! Her paralegal Jenn is well versed and is able to handle a lot of issues which helped keep costs down. I was able to wrap up a divorce in 6 months that had child custody issues/ a business to divide/ and a ton of assets. I'm typically not the kind of person who would post a public Google review, especially for a law firm. But I just noticed how some person gave this law firm a 1-star rating along with a volatile, jumbled tirade of spewed words that were clearly meant to damage the public reputation of good people. It ought to be a crime to spam 1-star ratings like the one below. Well then. Here's my experience: An amazing team of caring individuals who make it their singular prerogative to protect you and your family, and especially your rights as a parent and human being. I never thought I'd be in this crappy situation. But I can't imagine going through this without the support and backing of these incredible people. A highly distinguished Texas family law judge (now retired) recommended I call Christine Leatherberry. (I recommend you call her as well). I can't tell you how grateful I am for her. From our very first meeting, Christine has been nothing short of a lifeboat in the middle of chaos. She has a rare and comforting balance of sincere empathy (she's a mom who "gets it"), sharp intuition (she can "read" every situation and see every angle), and effective results (she's a damn good lawyer). Whenever I had an issue or worry: a simple phone call or quick email to Christine and her team was all it took: an immediate response, with immediate results, every single time. Even if Christine was in a meeting at the time of my call or email, I never had to wait for someone to take care of me: her team was always there for me to handle my every immediate need. It was clear that I didn't just have a single lawyer to help me: I had a whole team. The firm works together and supports each other, in order to best support me and my family.
