I've been using this Law Firm's services for far longer than I ever intended to. Since 2014, I have been working with Ms. Skinner. Once I decided to act definitively, she took all my information, and was able to help me stay result oriented throughout a divorce, custody battle, parental right termination, and adoption. No one WANTS to have this many fights, but if you're contemplating entering into the arena of divorce, I would recommend this firm. They were accepting of the fact that I had to move out of state because of my service. They accommodated time zone differences, and always got back to me. This firm is professional, timely, and helpful.

This law office used to have Derrick Lancaster as a lawyer & he didn't write my divorce paperwork for my ex correctly, so I needed a correction. He doesn't know anything about military law in my opinion since he got the divorce decree wrong by not including important information on there. He also would Not return calls when contacted to try to resolve problems. Don't hire this guy for a military divorce! He doesn't get it right. Writing review since at one point he worked for this firm. Found out after review he doesn't work there anymore.

Jessica Skinner and her staff are outstanding! We hired her in 2016 after firing 2 other San Angelo attorneys that did nothing for us but take our retainers. We had been been fighting for custody of my kids since 2013 from a mother using parental alienation tactics and not following her court order and finally was able to retain a dedicated and moral lawyer who stepped up and was not afraid to battle for what was right. Mrs Skinner and her team promptly respond, in fact when she was not available at times to take action due to her being in court-her team/staff took the initiative and action to assure the situation was assessed. She is professional and just and will fight for you till the end! We won primary custody of our my kids in 2017 with modified visitation for the mother. We had to put down a higher retainer compared to our former 2 fired attorneys HOWEVER, Mrs Skinner took more action in 6 months after retaining her than any lawyer had in a year! Her retainer is worth you investing your trust that she will get you results and not just sit around or be afraid to go to battle for you against your opponent’s attorney no matter if they are well known SA attorneys or not. She is hands on and we are blessed to have found her because she fought for us and our case was very complicated at times. If you are a father battling parental alienation, to see your kids and/or fighting for custody due to other justified circumstances then look no further because Mrs Skinner and her firm is it! Definitely recommend her !

I wish I had posted about this evil vile man three years ago when I used him as a lawyer! I called this awful man 8-7-2020 he let me know that he sold his practice when asked why his clients were not informed, his response was well I already have their money their problem! Three years ago I had to find a lawyer in less than a week. Because of him I lost custody of my daughter to her father who just a year before said that she was an inconvenience! This man allowed my ex husband to lie under oath and the provost judge was just as worthless! When I spoke to this monster this August he told me that I must be a drug addict, abusive mother or something was wrong with me because he never lost a case! Not true you narcissistic pompous man! You basically stole my money and ruined my life! You failed to represent me and you bluntly stated that I was not a priority to you!

Immediate responses aren’t necessary when you know she’s busy fighting for you and will win. It’s amazing to know you can just trust her and not have to stress over anything.

Original review below. Response to owners response: Interestingly enough the attorney replied to this review and the reply tells you everything you need to know about the service you will receive. She did, in fact, speak to me on the phone so you now have an attorney that lies, concerning. Additionally, she is correct, I am not her client. Her client is my grandson and his other grandmother who she wouldn’t respond to after we BOTH paid $700 each to retain her services. Beware Original Review: We did not hesitate to pay her up front and she has not responded to calls for two weeks. When I did finally get her on the phone today she was rude and said they were on quarantine from COVID but I was unaware that her phone was also in quarantine. There is a little boy whose safety and well being is hanging in the balance and this lawyer should be ashamed of herself for not returning calls, doing what she says she would do and then being rude when called on the carpet about her behavior. The bar association would be very interested in her behavior I am sure. Amazing how after that call suddenly we are now getting the papers to sign. Unacceptable! I would think twice about using this person as your attorney.

I was very excited to refer him to someone close to me based on others experience with him. His team tells you everything you want to hear and even works with you when you don’t have enough to put down. I completely regret referring my loved one to hire him. I went to all the meetings and felt very confident. But then Robles staff changed and then he moved offices. We felt like we were being ignored. We had a hearing and a zoom meeting was set up before hand. We waited and waited and no meeting was even done. Then the hearing was canceled. It was almost 4 months since we heard from anyone from Robles team and another hearing was made. Going into the hearing, my loved one and I were completely confused on what was going on. There was no communication. They even told us the number to the zoom meeting 30 min before hand. We thought we were going to the office. Then also to our surprise Robles had someone else representing us named Chris. We had no idea about anything. So we didn’t agree to a the hearing and then the next day Robles dropped us . To my knowledge everything was miscommunication on there part. We were devastated and didn’t know what to do. They even told us they would reimburse us anything leftover stage one but then later changed what they said and kept it. We over paid him in my opinion and we were left in the gutter by them. Look I know how everyone speaks highly of this law firm but they don’t see us as people and they only cover up for themselves. We were in need and they welcomed us just to take from us and not even help us out like they said. I really liked Robles himself but his staff was not professional. I think they are getting to much clientele to handle.

These guys do NOT have your best interest at heart. They'll gladly take your consultation/retainer fees and give you the bare minimum. Regret wasting my time with them. Thief! No help! I set up a $150 consultation so see if I could get a simple matter resolved( changing the medical support order in my child support) and I was told I was missing a paper in the order and he could not help! He offered no alternatives, could not tell me what paperwork I needed so he could help me. Horrible! Just took my money and did not help me at all!! Dont go here!

Mr. Williamson helped me get my divorced finalized in 2019 and was up front about everything I had completed confidence in his representation. Since then I moved back to California and had questions about going back to court for re-adjusting support and Mr. Williamson answered all my questions I had on which route to take and how to go about it. I am more than satisfied with his representation and the fact that he still cared and answered questions 2 years after my divorced was finalized says a lot! I would recommend him to anyone looking for professional representation.

Initially, I was skeptical about hiring a lawyer. I wasn’t sure if I even needed one. I’d met with a fairly high number of “lawyers” beforehand, and I was on the verge of simply saying “screw it, I’ll do it myself”, when I decided to give it one last go. That mindset instantly changed when I walked into Mr. Williamson’s office. I was greeted by his wife, and waited less than a minute to speak with him at the consultation. He was helpful, clear, and concise, going as far as giving me helpful advice, even though I’d already shared that I wasn’t sure if I could afford a lawyer or not at the time. Well, I eventually did end up hiring him, and I haven’t regret it in the least bit. He’s stayed reliable throughout the court process. He’s always been either a message or phone call away. I finally feel content and fear-free, and that’s saying a whole lot, considering what I’ve gone through within the entirety of this court battle. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, and I no longer feel helpless. He and his wife seem to be one of the very few legal teams that seem to actually care about their clients wellbeing. Thank God we found them when we did.

GO WITH BRETT!! Seriously. 5 reasons as to why you need to go with Brett Pritchard. 1. He takes CPS cases ALL OVER Texas. I’m located in ATX & had NO issues. 2. His staff is phenomenal & made me feel at ease as soon as I called. CPS cases can be immensely strenuous & overwhelming. Brett’s staff were not only extremely sweet & informative but on top everything regarding my situation.. if not that day, the following next day. 3. Brett took the time to ZOOM me since distance was a major issue. 4. He was upfront & straight forward about what needed to be done and informed me on everything he was going to do involving my CPS case. 5. The whole process took not even 2 days, him and I were speaking virtually by the middle of the 3rd day. Case closed and dismissed. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else. Trust me.

If I can give this law firm 0 stars, I would. I am utterly disgusted with this law firm. I typically never leave reviews for anything, but this law firm is nothing but a scam. I paid upfront 5,000 for a simple child support/ custody dispute. I can just say, Brett Pritchard and Brent, did absolutely nothing for my case but charge me an arm and leg. Before finding a different lawyer, I have paid triple over the original balance for a temporary order that even the judge questioned what was my attorney expecting. A year goes by with this firm, and my son was about to be taken away from his mother from CPS and yet they still couldn't read up on my case. When the CPS court arrived, my attorney was ill-prepared and even made the excuse he didn't know about the case until the day prior!!! Mind you, I was aware about the court hearing a week prior along with the paralegal, CPS workers, and opposing counsel. This law firm almost made me lose my son to the system if it wasn't for CPS lawyers who was able to put my son into my custody. However, prior to this, my attorney canceled my final hearing 3 times before CPS got involved. Which one, he canceled because of "scheduling conflictions," but when I confronted Brett about it, he said "he was on vacation." THEY CANT EVEN KEEP UP WITH EACH OTHERS LIES. I am filing for a grievance to the board, because a firm who doesn't represent their clients to the best of their ability, or even have the DECENCY to look over a case, then they shouldn't be practicing. And going to find a way to make this law firm black listed for military members. I never want another soldier to go through a scam law firm as I did.

Came here for a child custody/divorce case. Total price I paid, $11,144.75. What did I get from the judge. Expanded standard possession with no child support. I'm the father so of course I lost. No geo restriction on the mother. How much of this was negotiated by my lawyer or the judge. ZERO. No child support was agreed to far in advance of this case. The expanded possession order actually took time away from me. So to me the value was pretty poor. Now, what did I get from the law firm, I got told to do mediation, a $1,400 bill by the way, the mediator didn't mediate, he stirred the pot. Walked out of it with nothing more that what was negotiated without lawyers. I also showed up an hour late to mediation because I was assured that the appointment was virtual. This sort of disorganization continued throughout the case. My lawyer forgot it was a divorce case at one point, never mentioned a word in court about me actually raising my son for the first 2 and half out of his now 3 and half years of age, to the judge. A good many questions I had were also answered in a way that I guess the lawyer thought what I wanted to hear, but then when it came time to actually apply the law it was the exact opposite. So quality is pretty poor as well. My final bill that I just paid was mostly for messages that I asked about enforcement because my ex-wife had already begun violating the order. They charged me an extra $2,000 for that. If you want real legal representation, save your money and hire a lawyer outside of Killeen.

Lisa Powel is everything you want and need when choosing a lawyer. She is professional, intelligent, honest, and kind. Ms. Powell cares about you and about your case--she takes the time to answer your questions and explain what can be a confusing process. Whatever your legal issue, she is extremely knowledgeable and will fight for you. Her skill in the courtroom itself is equally impressive. Don't waste your time interviewing other lawyers, you want Ms. Powell. Lawyers are expensive, but Ms. Powell is worth every penny!! Can't recommend highly enough.
