I called in today to try to continue services for my father. Unfortunately, he had a severe stroke that left him unable to speak or move and we were trying to get all of his legal matters finished. As I was speaking with the front desk person to try to schedule a consultation with the lawyer, she made it nearly impossible, stating over and over that she didn’t think the lawyer could do anything for us. Additionally, she kept saying “well, he didn’t finish paying” in an argumentative manner, as if he had done this on my purpose. Yes, he didn’t because he had a fatal stroke that left him in a coma for quite some time and now he’s recovering ????. Not sure why she had to be so rude and difficult.

I knew in my first interview with Mr. Kulesz that he would help me and my two children out of this bad situation. I cannot recommend Ms. Gayden and her associates enough. From the beginning we were confident and comfortable with her handling our custody case. She and Rachel were just an email or call/txt away. Ms. Gayden was definitely a force in the courtroom! Even when the pandemic hit, she and her team continued to work diligently on our case keeping us up to date at all times. The outcome was more than we hoped for. Patricia Cooke did a great job on my divorce. She was very reasonable in price and her professionalism is unparalleled. Patricia Stanley and her paralegal Jenn were awesome! Patricia is the most affordable attorney in Johnson county and the best! Her paralegal Jenn is well versed and is able to handle a lot of issues which helped keep costs down. I was able to wrap up a divorce in 6 months that had child custody issues/ a business to divide/ and a ton of assets. David was a good choice as a lawyer for child custody and support, I mostly chose him based off of the reviews online and also the free consultation which allowed me to know whether he would be the right fit for my case. He was a great negotiator with all the terms and the information and concerns I provided and Lisa was especially great at responding to any questions I had. The retainer fee, while a good amount to pay upfront, covered the whole process and was definitely worth the quality! I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case thanks to his office's help and if any problems should arise in the future I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again

I have no professional compliant other than she double charged me and now will not respond. I’ve made several attempts to collect my money over the past three plus months with no response. If you use her check your bank statement to make sure your not double charged.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had from someone I gave my hard earned money to! I was appointed this attorney through the court, and if you have the means to find your own attorney and hire them please do so as I would have never chosen to do business with this establishment given the choice! I have received nothing but the run around, lies and unanswered questions. She went from “I want to help you because I’ve gone through a similar situation myself” to “I don’t represent you and don’t owe you a play by play. I will complete my job when I’m ready to complete it.” So yea don’t waste your time or money. All I wanted was for the job I paid for to get completed so that I could move forward with my case. I was told twice in two different months that the job was completed and the paperwork just needed to be filed, then all of a sudden the info I was given was contradicted. I was then treated as a nuisance and as if she was doing me a favor. After being told I would be contacted and never receiving a call or email, my calls were ignored and if by some miracle I got someone on the phone I was treated rudely and unprofessionally. Complete 180 from the time she gladly took my money that she felt compelled to keep reminding me she gave me a discounted price, to three months later where she literally told me I don’t have to talk to you at all just wait for an email whenever I feel like my job is done. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAW FIRM OR THIS ATTORNEY FOR ANYTHING!

Before I enter this office I thought I had no chance in my case. A friend referred me to Jayson and he fixed everything. I actually got more then what I thought. And the best part is that through out the process his team give updates in your case and possible scenarios, for me that’s amazing because I don’t need to be stressing thinking about what’s going on. Definitely one of the best lawyers in Fort Worth.

Gave him 1k for a retainer. He filed the wrong papers in the wrong court system. I had to find another lawyer, and never received any of my money back. Don’t waste your time here. Edit: I never failed to follow your advice. The lawyer that ended up helping me through my house issue, looked at my divorce decree, and actually advised me to report you to the bar.

My ex wife was using this firm for our divorce in 2019 and 2020. You think I would write a review because I was plowed by them or because they were unfair somehow but I am writing the review because of how she was treated. They did not respond to her and sent useless correspondence and forms to my law firm (I am a retired attorney so am relatively aware of these things). I told her to stop and just let my firm handle it since I was not being billed as much and they were just running up her cost. There were times weeks would go by without any updates and there was no urgency for them to proactively seek her best interest. Sometimes they used wording that to my surprise had more of my best interest in mind as far as alimony/pension, etc. We may not be married anymore but I still do not want to see her get taken advantage of and I feel like that is exactly what they did. They were not mean. They were kind. I was just a little underwhelmed. It appears like they only have a few years under their belt running a firm or they need some additional help and mentorship. There are helpful guides provided by various boards and counsels and I do not know why they went unused or largely underused. I realize it is strange to write a review on behalf of my ex wife, but I think it is appropriate to share a fair experience from "the other side" of the table. Mediocre at best. PS: I have used a familial name to protect confidentiality of my ex wife and her attorneys' privilege as I feel I still have an obligation to do that since she is not the one telling her story. I hope that she will. VRL

I would not recommend this firm to anyone. They take their sweet time and charge you an arm and a leg for everything. You will feel like you did more work than they do yet you will pay them thousands. It will take more time than it needs to. I’m sure there are a lot of better options out there. Again, I had a horrible experience and If I can keep others from the same I want to. Good luck

I was very nervous about needing a lawyer (concern over costs, etc) but as soon as I stepped foot into my consult with Taylor and Leah I was positive I had made a wonderful choice! They had reviewed my case prior to our meeting and were able to answer all of my questions and concerns. They were able to explain the legal process to me without making me feel ignorant. Their costs were very reasonable and the option for payment plans helped me out. I walked out of my consult with them hired to represent my daughter and I. Throughout the process it was very easy to get in touch with both of them and they continued to explain things to me step by step so that I was fully informed of everything that was going on. They sent me updated documents to review in a timely manner and I didn't have to have any contact with the other party in my case. In trying to find a divorce attorney, I interviewed a few and did not feel they were being honest. The retainer was so expensive and I was about to become a single mom. A family member recommended Taylor to me so I contacted her. First conversation I had with her over the phone she explained the entire process and laid out all the different options I had. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When I became emotional it felt she was genuinely sympathetic. At the end of the phone conversation I asked about fees. She laid out each cost of the court fees and paying a server. She offered options of getting my husband to sign without even needing a server and other ways that would make things less expensive. She never once asked me what my income was or my husband's income was, which is something the other lawyer's did and felt they were charging me a higher price because of it. She said that the retainer was to cover these fees and anything that was not used I would get back. The retainer was very reasonable and lower than the other quotes I got. I received a biweekly update on how much was charged and remaining left of my retainer. Taylor was always available to me during the process. I could text/ email her anytime with questions and she responded promptly. Even though her office was in Fort Worth, my home was North of Dallas and she met with me closer to my home instead of me having to take off work to drive to her office. After 6 months of going back and forth, I decided not to proceed with the divorce and was given back the remaining amount of the retainer as promised. I did meet with Taylor and she was professional but had a relaxed demeanor that made you feel comfortable, especially during this difficult time/ situation. I am truly grateful to her and would recommend her to anyone.
