Always remember that your attorney is NOT your friend, no matter how much they try to act like it while you still have billable hours flowing for them. It's after the billable hours get cut off that you find out the truth.

Micah and his team are phenomenal at what they do. MIcah is very diligent about helping keep you calm during a daunting process. He not only holds you accountable to what you say is the right thing, he will push to make sure you are keeping the long term abreast of mind especially when there are children involved. There were times I confused how calm he is in the pocket with a lack of aggressiveness, but that couldn't be further from the case. When it was crunch time, he delivered without me having to compromise my principles. Micah and his team also push the most amicable way to solve issues which you may not feel good during the process, but means the world when it is over. I would highly recommend Micah and his support team especially Kimberly.

This review is long over due. There is no way to put into words how wonderful my experience was with Micah and Kim. Divorce was the most difficult life experience I’ve ever had to navigate. The thoughtful and caring guidance I received helped me maintain my sanity throughout the process. I was an emotional mess and unable to make decisions. I appreciated the calm and calculated approach to handling the seemingly endless and often ridiculous attacks from the Ex. Despite the circumstances I actually looked forward to meeting with my team. I can honestly say that I miss seeing my new friends at this office. Possibly more importantly, my case was settled efficiently and ethically. They say only lawyers win in court but everyone involved knows I WON this one. Micah came through in a huge way for me. I’ve passed his card on three times. I’ll continue to do so.

I hired Micah Royer to help me with child support modification and enforcement. I reside out of state, so I trusted Micah to handle everything without me ever having to be present. What is normally a fairly simple process was unsurprisingly challenging due to the other party, but Micah and his paralegal, Kim, took a very trying situation and handled it with care and ease. I always felt that Micah had my best interests in mind and was ready to do whatever was necessary to see those interests pursued. He is not only skilled at what he does, but he handles his cases with compassion and care. It is easy to see that he truly cares about his work. I would readily hire Micah again and would highly recommend him.

The service and respect I've received after I've been with them for years has dramatically changed. I think if you are exploring options I would continue to explore. Extreme focus on billing and not service...seems like we were never organized and on point. Constantly repeating work. Its like I have to defend myself in every conversation. It appears it’s a cultural thing. Turns out its a similar experience among others I've spoken with. If I could reduce to zero I would.

Jimmy and his team are amazing. The depth of experience and ability to advise on my divorce was incredible. It became very clear to me that they work very hard at what they do. The most amazing thing that I continued to notice was how Jimmy could see far down the road and predict what was going to happen based on the TX legal system in conjunction with the personalities of opposing counsel. Kimberley Evans has been my divorce attorney many years. There aren't enough nouns for me to describe my experience with her as my attorney. Her tenacity, drive, and hard work are apparent. "The work will speak for itself" and it certainly does. Evans Law Group is also a representation of these things. Not sure why google isnt showing my review, but i am going to reword it then: I hired Will Shindler for a family law case. All I can say is I had a good case with good proofs, pictures, etc. He was very submissive to the opposing party and disrespectful to me and my case. He would ask me to do everything the oppossing party was asking for and would not really fight for me. Also, In family matters you have to be professional with everyone involved, these are painful moments for both parties yet he was heard many times laughing it up with the opposing party's lawyer, so much so that the oppossing party plaintiff noticed it too. I felt like all my money went down the drain, not to mention the emotional pain left after a "professional" didn't want to fight for you.

After we adopted our two children internationally, we wanted to "re-adopt" them in Texas so they could obtain Texas birth certificates. Not many family law attorneys even know this is an option for internationally adopted children. But Christine knew, and also knew exactly how to get it done quickly and efficiently. The CHA Law firm went out of their way when my son was dying of cancer. He only had two weeks to live when we contacted them. They spoke with him on the phone, wrote his will, came out to the house to ensure he had all his faculties, brought witnesses to the will signing at his house, and was warm and caring during his last days. As a father, you couldn’t ask for more.

Look no further than Jeff Barnett and his law practice to assist with your legal needs. He is worth every penny and extremely professional. I reached out to Jeff to assist with a frivolous lawsuit filed against me when no other attorney would help. Not only did he get my lawsuit dismissed, he helped with getting sanctions awarded against the plaintiffs attorney for not doing his due diligence before filing a frivolous lawsuit against an innocent party. This man was an ad lietem for my daughter and she is a troubled teen. He is placing her in an unsafe environment with a family member known for abuse and sexual abuse. They are drug addicts and prostitutes and he wants my teen girl to go live with these people OUT OF THE STATE OF TEXAS SO HE CAN GET PAID . He does not care about anything but the money. period. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE OR CHILDREN,what so ever. He is very rude, calls people names,he is a snake. HE IS A SHARK OUT FOR HIS OWN. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCUM. The BEST FAMILY Law Attorney I have ever worked with. 1 year ago I was blindsided with a separation and custody battle. It all started with my ex wanting to leave making false child abuse and domestic abuse claims against me. She was threatening to have me never see the kids and specifically telling me that she would 'destroy my life'. Ryan Dougay was highly recommended from multiple attorney friends of mine. I highly recommend Ryan Dougay for custody issues. My daughter hired him to represent her in custody of her 2 children. As a mother fighting for her children and a grandmother having to watch, it was a very difficult time. After meeting with Ryan, he put our minds at ease. He gave us straight forward answers and explained what would happen. He believed in my daughter and had my granddaughters best interest at heart. There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. I have nothing but positive things to say about Mrs. Lackey. My case with her is nearing the one year mark and her dedication to my case has been exceptional. I know it's supposed to be what attorneys are known for is navigating the legal system but I feel she goes above and beyond. She does not guess or give you a "well maybe that can work." She studies each aspect of the case to give you the most honest answer possible. I have no complaints and believe she is very talented in providing great counsel. Highly recommend!
