Absolutely, hands down, the best family lawyer in Austin. I cannot thank Ben enough for assisting me in a very difficult child custody case. He is honest, articulate, and really cares about his clients. I feel fortunate to have had him on my side through a difficult custody battle. When I started my search, I visited websites of many attorneys and it almost seemed like an impossible task when every website seemingly look the same. But just after spending few minutes on Ben’s website, I knew right away that I found an attorney who would be able to help me. I was really impressed by his straightforward explanation of how he does business, his credentials, and reviews from other clients. I ultimately decided on Ben after speaking with him. Ben was absolutely amazing, to say the least. I came to him in a frenzy after getting ghosted by a different lawyer that I ended up reporting to the board. Ben Carrasco is an excellent and attentive attorney. He defended the enforcement of a pro se settlement agreement at my hearing flawlessly. The day before, he got a continuance hearing dismissed - which is difficult to do. He is sharp and concise but also thorough and relevant in his delivery and defense of the facts. I reached out to Jeff to assist with a frivolous lawsuit filed against me when no other attorney would help. This man was an ad lietem for my daughter and she is a troubled teen. He is placing her in an unsafe environment with a family member known for abuse and sexual abuse. They are drug addicts and prostitutes and he wants my teen girl to go live with these people OUT OF THE STATE OF TEXAS SO HE CAN GET PAID . He does not care about anything but the money. period. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE OR CHILDREN,what so ever. He is very rude, calls people names,he is a snake. HE IS A SHARK OUT FOR HIS OWN. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCUM. The BEST FAMILY Law Attorney I have ever worked with. 1 year ago I was blindsided with a separation and custody battle. It all started with my ex wanting to leave making false child abuse and domestic abuse claims against me. She was threatening to have me never see the kids and specifically telling me that she would 'destroy my life'. Ryan Dougay was highly recommended from multiple attorney friends of mine. I highly recommend Ryan Dougay for custody issues. My daughter hired him to represent her in custody of her 2 children. As a mother fighting for her children and a grandmother having to watch, it was a very difficult time. After meeting with Ryan, he put our minds at ease. He gave us straight forward answers and explained what would happen. He believed in my daughter and had my granddaughters best interest at heart. My divorce/child support case was complicated. I spoke with half a dozen attorneys prior to speaking with Janice. None of the attorneys I spoke with were confident in how to proceed with my case. A few said they'd research it and get back with me (they didn't get back with me) and some just honestly said they had no idea how to handle this case. From the first time I spoke with Janice she was confident in how to proceed - she told me exactly what she would do and she did it. She researched case law for my particular situation and was very prepared in court. And 8 months later - our case is complete and we were awarded everything we asked for. Janice and her team were professional, they did not over promise anything. She is direct and to the point and was always available when I had questions. I hope to never have to use her services again, but I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing legal services for any family law situations.

We needed a fighter, and Bryan put on his boxing gloves for us and won our match. It was scary for our family as my grandson was taken by his other grandmother who took him out of school for the week and then took him to Corpus from the Austin area. We had to track her down, drive to Corpus and get him back. While my husband and daughter were on their drive, Cassie and I were in constant text - We were all on a mission to get that boy in his momma's arms again. Bryan filed restraining orders and writs and all of the above to make this happen. This was a long and hard case, but we had the Final Virtual Hearing today and he brought my family justice.. My daughter now has Sole Custody of her boy and I am quite proud of her and the outcome of this matter. I pray nobody has to go through what we did, but if you do - I assure you want Bryan in your corner.. I couldn't ask for a better representative for my family and thank you just is not enough words..

There aren't enough words to fully convey how happy I am I chose the Law Office of Tim Whitten to represent me in a recent cusody case but I will attempt in this review. I contacted Tim Whitten to represent me in the most difficult time of my life. After a few in-depth conversations with Summer and Tim, we agreed it would be best for my case to have Tim and Amerin Whisnant represent me. Amerin Whisnant was my main attorney and handled the bulk of the case and throughout the entire case, I have never seen more courtesy, kindness and hard-work on my behalf. I felt secure knowing the knowledge they possed would give me a clear picture of my options and guide me in the right direction. However, they allowed me to make all informed decisions based on what was right for my family. Rightfully so, emotions were high, however, Amerin did a tremendous job navigating me through it all and eleviating some of the stress and intensity that came with it. They displayed the utmost professionalism towards the opposing party including his attorney which showed me a lot of wisdom. I can honestly say my son and I are better off having chosen Amerin, Tim and this entire team as our legal coucil. Even their paralegal, Ashley, was great to work with - I highly reccomend them 100x over!

I hired Carolyn about 10 years ago, paid my $4000 retainer and she used almost the entire amount ($40 returned unused) in just serving him with papers, phone calls to me. Nothing was accomplished for $4000. I had to hire another attorney and pay again before I got my case settled. Very upset and a waste of money I didn't have.

I truly appreciate all the help Scott Morgan provided to me as my divorce attorney. The outcome of my case was very favorable for me, both from financial and children custody standpoint. As much as his legal guidance was crucial, the psychological and moral support he gave me was also invaluable. During the divorce I was getting all kinds of different opinions from friends and family, and Scott was the person that let me stay strong on my course. He was always available for communication, and very promptly, which was of great importance to me.
