I’m certain that Joe and his team see cases like ours all the time. However, when your biggest love is being a father and a divorce threatens the possibility of not having your children 50/50. A fear of uneasy sets in and you can’t get that out of your mind. Joe studied my case. He asked real questions and he needed full transparency. We gave him everything he asked for. After meeting with Joe, He told me that this will be a process and he had our family’s best interest Mind. After a year of back and forth and having to provide everything under the sun. We prevailed and set forth on a life of happiness. I have my children 50/50 and support was not granted. I can’t express the amount of gratitude and respect I have for Joe and his team! I can’t say enough positive about Gracie Wood Shepard. I worked with her a few years ago when she was newer and she did a wonderful job repping me in my divorce. So great, in fact, that I hired her again recently for a pretty outrageously complex series of legal issues. She is organized, calm, collected, BRILLIANT, legally savvy and very well-educated and clearly knows the law. She is also well-supported by her firm and shared that she collaborates with the other attorneys in her office often...which I love. She was very cool and articulate in court. She was bullied big time by the other lawyers and stood her ground without any issues. The other lawyers tried a bunch of slippery moves, too, and she was unwavering. She’s also a bargain at her current rate and I felt her charges were very fair. My only issue with leaving this review is that she might get too busy to rep me in the future!

I am so thankful to Scott Milner for his graceful representation of me in my divorce. I first met with Amy Lambert, who quickly saw that my case would not likely mediate, and she passed me to Scott, so that we would be prepared in case we had to go to trial. We did go to trial, and Scott Milner helped me to get the best outcome for my 3 children and myself. He had a very difficult case in my situation, and he had to defend me against tough accusations. Scott is so good at his job, he knows how the legal system works, he is very well-respected in the courts, and I feel so fortunate to have found him.

I hired Amy while going through a divorce and she was referred by a friend and she is quite good when focusing on my case. She is regularly unresponsive and even with repeated emails she was still unresponsive. I had to ask her to delegate the paper filing work to her paralegal or secretary and they helped move it a little forward. We are more than two months behind filing the signed mediation papers. To me without clear communication with her clients her actions are quite unacceptable. Or she treats clients different which is equally inappropriate.

Extreme focus on billing and not service...seems like we were never organized and on point. Constantly repeating work. Its like I have to defend myself in every conversation. It appears it’s a cultural thing. Turns out its a similar experience among others I've spoken with. If I could reduce to zero I would.

Kimberley Evans has been my divorce attorney many years. There aren't enough nouns for me to describe my experience with her as my attorney. Her tenacity, drive, and hard work are apparent. "The work will speak for itself" and it certainly does. Evans Law Group is also a representation of these things. When it comes to something like the fallout after an ended marriage, especially where children are involved, every decision can have lasting ramifications. I HIGHLY recommend Cristi Trusler for family law, particularly custody cases. Cristi, along with her phenomenal paralegal worked countless months/hours and put forth everything they had to ensure that all of the facts were conveyed in court. I hired Carolyn about 10 years ago, paid my $4000 retainer and she used almost the entire amount ($40 returned unused) in just serving him with papers, phone calls to me. Nothing was accomplished for $4000. I had to hire another attorney and pay again before I got my case settled. Very upset and a waste of money I didn't have.

Look no further than Jeff Barnett and his law practice to assist with your legal needs. He is worth every penny and extremely professional. I reached out to Jeff to assist with a frivolous lawsuit filed against me when no other attorney would help. Not only did he get my lawsuit dismissed, he helped with getting sanctions awarded against the plaintiffs attorney for not doing his due diligence before filing a frivolous lawsuit against an innocent party. I had initial consultations with 3 divorce attorneys, and within minutes of my first meeting with Melissa I knew she was the one I would retain. From the beginning, she gave me very honest and accurate information, which helped me to have realistic expectations.
