Kelly Koch is the person you want in your corner. She settled my family law case in less than 2 hours, in what I was trying to accomplish for the past 2.5 years. Kelly was very knowledgeable and an expert when it came to custody matters. She worked and informed me where my strengths and weaknesses were and how to improve my position. Luckily, we were able to successfully win in mediation due to Kelly's expertise and familiarity with the process. She really works in the direction that you would like and advises you on that. After 1 phone call I hired Kelly Koch and her legal team! Their professionalism and knowledge of family law were apparent, and their patience with my many questions was greatly appreciated. She and her office were very responsive, professional and didn't put up with any excuses from the other party, even having him come to their office and sign paperwork at no cost, to ensure it was signed and correct. She and her team helped navigate the legal process during a pandemic and much quicker than I thought possible. The whole process took less than a year with 1 final Zoom court session, which I was very nervous and skeptical about, but Kelly's legal knowledge proved to be successful. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!!! After 5 years I still hardly ever see my daughter. Wouldn't file anything I asked. Wouldn't allow me to have witnesses. Wouldn't take time to talk or allow me to come to his office. The list goes on forever.

Mr. Dodson represented me in a divorce case. I had never dealt with an attorney before and was apprehensive about what to expect. I found Mr. Dodson to be personable and very helpful in my case. If you want a lawyer that has time for you , this is not the one . Multiple emails left unanswered, in which he responded he gets 100’s of emails a day and it’s hard to keep up. When I called upset about the lack of response , he kept assuring me I would get custody of “my son”. In reality we were fighting for my daughter. Just goes to show how much he actually cared for the case . Don’t get me wrong , he is extremely responsive when collecting your retainer fee .

Great attorney.. I chose him for his knowledge and how aggressive he was and how confident he was that he could achieve what I wanted.. I referred him to family because of his compassion and results achieved in court.. I am so thankful for this lawyer! He was able to terminate my daughters fathers rights which is no easy task even with a good cause (as I was told from other lawyers). He then was able to settle a very difficult case for a family member.. if you want results without needless billing hours, he’s your guy..

Talked to Mr. Reyes via phone because I had second thoughts about the original divorce lawyer I hired. Mr. Reyes could of easily talked bad about this lawyer just so that I would sign up with him but he gave me good advice and advised me to stay with who I originally hired. Very helpful information.

Steve is the best family law attorney in Corpus Christi!! I highly recommend utilizing his services. He knows the law and will always fight for you!! No matter how hard our custody battle got, he never gave up on our case. When we felt defeated because all odds were against us (living in another country & COVID) Steve always reassured us that he was going to do everything he could to win our case. We had a very difficult custody battle that lasted 9 months and we WON!!! He was the only attorney who was willing to take on our case for my stepson and got us a court date as quickly as possible before we moved to Japan for military duties. He is very fair in his pricing and will not over charge you. He lets you know what you are paying for before he charges and runs everything by you before he makes decisions. He always kept in contact with us and even called while he was on vacation or off of work. He is very professional and smart in the court room. He is an aggressive attorney that can get the opposing party quiet real quick!! His staff was always helpful and emailed us a courtesy copy of all the documents that were being drafted. We always knew what was going on in our case and we put all of our trust in Steve and his staff which ultimately led to my husband receiving custody of my stepson after 6 years of dealing with parental alienation. Mr Lopez in the past when he was working at his fathers firm was an exellent attorney. He has since moved to his own firm and has become almost useless as an attorney like he was before. After updating my address with his office, the AG, the respondents attorney, and the courts they mailed out letters to my previous address in another city. then failed to respond to emails questioning it. Drop me a week before court, but i have still paid the full price that he agreed to in our initial contract. There is very little communication from his office i have had to call repeatedly to get answers and even then mr lopez calls me on his way home with very little answers. He appears spineless in a courtroom setting and will not object to lies from the other attorney when we just had the conversation and he had been updated completely on everything involved and the lengths i was going through to allow visits with my zons junkie mother. I would not recomend Steve lopez as a family attorney as he will just back down and not fight for what you paid him to do

I was looking for an attorney that would look out for my best interest and still reasonable. Well worth it. The understanding that he brought to the table and what to expect help me to prepare to move forward. During the whole time was well informed and punctual. I knew he was a attorney but he treats you with respect and as family. He is a person that tells you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. Having children in the matter looked out for them as well. Even after my case following up with myself to ensure everything was going well for my family. Was so appreciate that I had him as my attorney and I would definitely highly recommend.

I have some mixed feelings about this experience. On one hand, Vonda was very personable and friendly when we did speak. On the other hand, getting in touch with Vonda is a difficult task. There were multiple occasions in which I would make many phone calls to her office or send an email and then wait well over a week to receive a response. Vonda also tended towards oversharing, regarding her personal life and other cases she was working on. I would have appreciated more professionalism along the way, but the job got done in the end. The documents Vonda crafted for us were well done, and I don't have any complaints as far as that component of the service.
