Perfect! Exactly what I needed. He was competitively priced and when my ex-wife tried to take my kids out of state he helped me through getting a restraining order dropped and the judge sided with me on 5 out of 6 counts. What was particularly surprising was Mr. Kontos knowledge and experience. In my first appointment he told me what the court was likely to do. In the end it was exactly as he said. I cannot recommend him more!

Hire this law firm. I went in today for the free consult offered on their website. I was pretty confused and distressed with all of what is going on in my particular situation. Bruce Clement laid out my options- all of which are actually free for me up until a point where he said I could hire a lawyer when that point comes. And then at that future point, he has three tiers of retainer and hourly rates. I so appreciate the information he gave, it was honestly worth paying for. This is review is the best way I can repay him. If in fact I will need a lawyer heading into the new season of my particular issue, I will be hiring this law firm. I always appreciate free value, and not feeling pressured into making a decision on the spot, and honest lawyers who are firstly focused on their clients (and potential clients) rather than focusing on the money. Janal is thoroughly exceptional. I had to engage counsel for a major modification to change parenting plan and sole decision making. I came to Fiori Law with not much hope or knowledge on ever getting a divorce. I Was married to a woman who took off with my daughter nearly 20 years ago, with absolutely zero idea on where she was or how to get divorced with no location. Michelle M. I had an outstanding experience with Janis Kipp who helped me through the difficult process of navigating the court system in a divorce. She answered all my questions, prepared my paper work, and saved my sanity in a variety of ways. I was very appreciative, and grateful for her patient work in addressing all my needs. It was very nice to have the option to pay an LLLT at a less expensive rate than an attorney, but to know that I would have access to their help if needed.... sort of like having a baby with a midwife at a hospital, but having access to the doctors if something should go terribly wrong. Janis is the midwife of birthing a divorce, for people like me, that want to have a more "natural" divorce experience, with no contention or conflict. She is amazing.

My husband has been a client of Fiori Law Office going on two years now. They had helped us tremendously with paperwork, child support, parenting plans, court and were patient with us and answered all our questions. They recently were bought out by someone and let’s just say they are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. We have called time and time again asking for Michelle, who has helped us so much in the past, and never once get a call back. When we do get a live person, they tell us that it’ll be $200 just to speak to Michelle.... then my husband emails because he needs an attorney right now and they tell us that they can’t take on anymore clients even though he has been a client for over two years. We will never recommend this place, nor will we ever pay them a dime again. Bye.

I was referred by one of my friends that said she used Loretta and a few of her friends have used her as well and they all called her a bull dog in the court room. What I enjoyed about her is she was personable and reasonable. She suggested and recommended what she could get for me, but wasn't there to tell me otherwise and take my money. I have had a bad experience with other attorneys that will take a deposit and not give you a heads up that it could cost more. I felt she was there to help and get the best end result. In fact I put a deposit down and started to role the ball on a case but two days later the other end was taken care of. Instead of charging me the hours her office had already worked towards my case she refunded me my whole amount. I recommend Loretta because she is one of the best attorney's out there and will do her best to get what you need. I will be using her again if I need her.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years; and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties. I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome. David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day. On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. He shielded me effectively against difficult opposing counsel. He advocated for and so allowed a fair and equitable outcome to occur. Friendly even. My highest recommendation.

I would without any reservation recommend David T Huber for any family law matter. No one gets married and expects to get divorced - but the reality is it happens. My situation was unique as all cases are I was scared and anxious. I was luckily recommended to David by another attorney. David and his assistant Joy were compassionate, experienced, understanding , communicated wonderfully, had great rapport with me and also mentored me in a way - they taught me to give myself credit and strength. My situation involved children , protection orders and forensic psychology - they were so great and kept my case from going to trial. I felt they empowered me. I have nothing but high praise.

Veronica was recommended to me through a close friend, at a time when I was at my lowest. I'd just been assaulted by my husband of nearly 20 years, who was/is a complete textbook covert narcissist. As soon as we met for the consultation I just knew I was in good hands and that Veronica would fight the good fight for me in my divorce. It was a grueling 12+ months but through the whole thing Veronica never lost sight of our goals and in the end I got what was fair and just. I was recommended Veronica and her firm by a friend of the family. My soon to be ex-husband is a very challenging person to work with and my number 1 goal through the entire process was to do what is fair and what is right. I appreciate that Veronica and her firm helped to support me in those desires while protecting me from being bullied by my ex. They helped me not only navigate through the divorce and mediation process, but also helped with communications with the ex when he was less than appropriate on numerous occasions. They helped remind me that the boundaries I had set around my children were not only fair, they were just and that he needed to respect those boundaries. I also used Fierce to describe this group because while my case was settled it mediation, it was clear they knew when and where to be fierce and that is what you want when someone is advocating for your rights and the rights of your children. Should this have gone to trial, I have no doubt that Veronica and her team would have been nothing short of phenomenal. I worked a lot with Amy in dealing with various correspondence with my ex and she was truly amazing. While I feel for anyone reading this review in need of a lawyer, I could not recommend Veronica and her team more.

Veronica Freitas and her team went above and beyond to fight for me in a custody case to insure my son resided with me, his Mom. She is an excellent listener, articulate, thoughtful, and compassionate. Her paralegal, Amy, touched base with me daily and helped me navigate through an extremely emotional & stressful case. She made sure I had all of the valuable & necessary information needed to win my case. When the opposing lawyer attempted to bend the laws in their favor, she was quick to point out the inadequacies in their argument and poked many holes in their case. Intake personnel Dani Berlin was quick to schedule a family law consultation for me and collect pre-payment, but she did not follow through with the attorney profile she promised nor did she return my email regarding the proper exchange of documentation. She did, however, contact me 2 hours before my scheduled consultation and tell me that the attorney she had scheduled would need to cancel because of a conflict. Due to the timeframe of my needs, this was completely detrimental to my situation and although I was refunded, the firm made zero attempt to reschedule or accommodate me. I consider this both unfortunate and unprofessional.

In a divorce, you need advocates. Advocates that are willing to listen, empathize with your situation and quickly ascertain what rights and entitlements one has. This review is a long time past due! I dont think I can say enough great things about Hillary. She stayed with is for 6 years dealing with a psychotic, narcissistic coparent who liked to play games, on top of being across the country from us majority of the time. She helped us navigate court and always kept what was at our child's best interest at heart rather than just winning a case. She became more than an employee, she became like family, so much so that she celebrated the birth of our youngest child with us from across the country. If our case had stayed in Washington State we would not have hesitated to keep her as our attorney!

My divorce last year was unexpected and took a toll on me both physically and emotionally. I felt lost and unsure as to how to proceed so I was much relieved when I found an attorney that took the time to explain the process in a frank and caring way. During my initial consultation with Mark Weiss he gave my invaluable advice including asking me to work as much out with my spouse before in went to the lawyers. He also impressed upon me the fact to be as calm, kind and as civil as I possibly could be. I took his advice to heart and although far from painless it could have been so much worse. Mark’s response time to my questions was superb, usually same day. Mark Weiss made one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do bearable and kept me sane. After learning the crushing news that my 29+ year marriage would soon come to an end, my first two thoughts were to find a good councilor and a great attorney. Mark has many exceptional qualities, such as being an empathetic listener, patient with my many questions during the divorce process, has high integrity and is very well respected from his fellow attorneys and collaborative team members, very thorough in all his reports and information, providing referrals for additional professional resources; such as career counseling, etc., has vast experience and knowledge of Washington state divorce law, very timely with his return calls, emails, and availability to discuss any concerns. Mark Weiss is dedicated to staying on task with the goal of reaching the best mutually agreed upon final outcome for his client, while also being respectful and compassionate of the needs of the other spouse and children involved. Overall, Mark has a very holistic viewpoint when serving his client through one of the most difficult experiences in their life, by addressing the emotional, physical, mental, and financial wellbeing of his client. Let me 1st start out by saying, if you are reading reviews and having a terrible time deciding who is going to help you at one of the worst times in your life. Just stop reading and call. From start to Finish, there is no doubt I would hire them back in a heartbeat. From working with Ken, getting questions answered at no cost, when it became apparent my then wife had hired a lawyer (even though she had pinky promised me she wouldn’t) I had called Ken and I was in a bad place I had just been served papers at my place of employment, he told me not to worry and he had someone to help me out. That is when I received an email and a follow up phone call from my new Lawyer Mitchell Polonsky within that same day. After asking me some basic questions about myself and the situation, he was able put my mind at ease. My wife hired the Lawyer with a reputation for blood. Mitch made it clear it didn’t matter who she had hired. He was going to do everything in his power to make things as fair as possible while minimizing the cost on myself and the exposure to my children (by making it as clean and quick as possible). My Ex wasn’t being fair, not dropping the kids off in the location agreed on, not letting me talk to them on the phone during a critical time in their lives and threatening to withhold them. I informed Mitch and He got to work that same day. It was night and day difference once he emailed her lawyer. That alone was worth the money, but there was still a divorce I had to finish up. Mitch was extremely responsive when it came to emails and phone calls. My Ex-wife and I would both have the same questions for our attorneys and most of the time it would take her lawyer a week to get back. But not Mitch, it was always the same day and typically within hours. It got to the point where I was able to give the Ex an answer before her attorney would even open her emails. (Again; that alone was worth the money) I understand every situation is different, but with Mitch on my side I was able to get 50/50 custody of my 2 boys, pay No spousal support and even kept her away from my retirement. As far as divorce goes I would consider it a win. Thank you Mitch, for everything.

I was 6 months into my divorce proceedings and parted ways with my initial attorney from another law firm. I heard about Goldberg Jones through a work colleague. After talking with Ken he paired me up with Gregg Morphew. I’m active duty military and Gregg had experience working with veterans and he also served in the Army. Right from the start Gregg recognized what was missing in my case and made an immediate impact. His reputation among his peers was obvious and I felt I was getting the solid representation I desperately needed. I highly recommend Goldberg Jones and Attorney Gregg Morphew for any father going through a divorce.
