After my wife and I had our first child, we worried a lot about what would happen to our son if something tragic happened to both of us. We attended a terrific family estate planning workshop by the Meier Law Firm to learn more about how to protect our assets and assign a guardian to our son. Laura and Bonnie were extremely insightful about the laws that govern children of deceased parents and how they would be treated by the legal system. I have to say, Ernest Kim is the best lawyer I have ever had interacted with and cannot praise him any more than is possible. I was raised in a family of doctors, and as a doctor myself, I knew that doctors are notorious for poor financial planning and management.
