My girlfriend requested their services to create 1 operating agreement and 2 share certificates. She was told it will cost $1000. Once the work was done and delivered, she received an invoice for about $2000 detailing everything that was done. Some of the items listed in the invoice were ridiculous and expensive. Every little thing such as getting on a call, replying to an email, reviewing a document,... has been charged. It does seem they charged her as much as they wanted to get as much as possible. For big companies, I guess, it doesn't matter that much but for my girlfriend who is building her business on her own, with her savings and outside of her main job, it does!

The outcome after all of the work put in by the firm was we opted for a living trust, with provisions for life insurance, child care in case of our own demise, an estate distribution that avoiding probate, tax benefits, and other important components. I haven't met Roy but his partner and the secretary were rude.. They told me my husband have to be with me to set up a joint trust and if not I could go elsewhere. Do I really need to be told to go elsewhere? My husband works night and I work day. We have three kids which was why I asked if he could start with me first and my husband later. They had that "I don't need you" attitude...lol...then why have seminars and all the advertisements?? I regret for referring my friends to this law firm....never ever again. I didn't feel welcome. I felt as if they don't like Asian. Maybe they have had bad experiences with Asian but that just how they made me feel.
