One of the obstacles I faced after moving to Saint George last summer (July 2018) was when I attempted to get my Utah driver's license. Because my name change done in California was not recognized in Utah, I needed to hire an attorney to resolve this problem -- or face the fact I would never be able to drive here in Utah. Both Wes and Thomas did an amazingly thorough job on my mom's estate plan. They are professional, organized, kind and patient, and have great communication skills. This is the ONLY law firm to call with trusts, wills, and probate! I was so relieved when Jeff McKenna and his paralegal/notary said that they could come to us. My sister and I made an appointment with Jeff to meet with us at the home of my mother. My mother is 95-years-old and it was such a blessing not to have to take her from her home, put her in a car, lift her out, sit her up for an hour, put her back into the car, and drive home. It would have utterly exhausted her, not to mention the stress. The meeting itself was highly professional, efficient, and timely. In 2002 I moved from Montana to St. George, UT. I was so busy with new friends and the beautiful State and National Parks of UT that it was June 2004 before I ask for referral to an attorney and was extremely pleased to meet with Attorney Jeffery McKenna. Attorney Briney does not live the law of the USA. Or Utah law. Why would you trust an attorney that cannot obey the law himself? They are not anti Mormon laws Mr Briney is breaking, polygamy is not part of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Nor is it legal in Utah. So my question, without twisting words, in your response, why would someone trust an attorney who cannot obey the laws of the land himself? What's the difference between an attorney who is dishonest in his (personal life) vs an attorney with integrity in his personal life? How do you justify breaking the law in "your personal life" and then expect a client to trust the attorney in business dealings? Your law firm is treading on a slippery slope. What does the Utah Bar say? Is a TV show exploiting your "personal" life really worth it? It's about integrity and trusting your lawyer. Wouldn't you agree? And I was looking to retain you for my will and estate planning, as I have a rare autoimmune disease that is attacking my cerebellum. But I cannot justify your dishonesty. Does the dishonesty slip into your billable hours is what I asked myself. Like I said, it's about integrity. If you choose to have a partner that is so blatantly disregarding the law, that certainly reflects on your law firm.

Such an amazing attorney! We had an emergency guardianship and conservatorship need after a family member aggressively attempted to take physical and financial control of my step-father. We had to act quick (within hours on a Monday morning) to find an attorney to bring my step-father home from this family member. We had no idea of how to begin our search for an attorney that would fight for what was right and bring my mother's husband of 20 years home. We were referred to Ms. Schumann by Kathie Brown Robert's office as Ms. Robert was unavailable at the time. Ms. Schumann was everything we were looking for to represent my mother in this fight for justice. Ms. Schumann worked diligently and thoroughly to file emergency guardianship paperwork so our case could be heard that Wednesday in front of a judge.
