We were experiencing problems with our previous landlord, so I decided to call this Law firm to have a consultation. Since my first call I found very efficient people, also very nice and attentive stuff. We asked for 1 hour and 30 minutes consultation and the Lawyer we spoke with has been very professional and mostly helpful on explaining things to me and my husband. She gave us suggestions in a very detailed way. After the consultation we felt, my husband and I, relived and we followed her advice. Best money spent.

Shapiro law group is very unresponsive and very unprofessional. I’ve been contacting them for weeks on end and I haven’t been able to get a hold of them. I thought they were the ones to go to for support with an accident that almost left me paralyzed but instead I have to help them do there job and continuously harass them by calling for updates. This is not the customer service I was looking for and I am extremely dissatisfied with there lack of ability to get back in contact with you when looking for an update. If this is the type of response and help I am going to receive I recommend truthfully and honestly you go to someone else for help unless you know someone in the inside. I hate to give bad reviews because everyone is trying to make it in times like this but I have to be honest and let everyone know it’s not as great as others have made it seem.

Almost a year now I’ve been stuck with DCF in my family’s lives. I was wondering almost 6 months into DCF entering our lives what I could do to protect my family especially my child because after all the negative feedback I’ve read about DCF and the way they where moving with my case it confirmed everything I read, I decided to take action. I went online a started looking for a amazing lawyer but with a reasonable price. Attorney Kevin Seaver was my #6 in my list but after our phone interview he became my #1 choice. He first explained to me how DCF works, then explained to me what steps we can take in my case with keeping in mind every case is different, I was scared what was coming next the retainer the hourly rate the paper work fee “( but attorney Seaver is not like all these lawyers in Boston that just want to steal your money, he said to me “George right now the most important thing in your life is to protect your family and not let DCF take your child because believe me they will, my rate is a flat rate you can put a down payment and we can set up weekly or bi-weekly payment plans”. I was so relieved and excited at the same time because I knew my family is protected now. I can go to work enjoy life with my family knowing that we have attorney Kevin Seaver on our side. Getting back to my case, DCF filed a 51A took them weeks/ months to hand over the file they kept writing so many negative allegations about my family that where not true attorney Seaver got those allegations unsupported with no file sent to him even though he requested the file about 2-4 times via email. As soon as the unsupported letter was sent to us we where so relieved and happy joyful knowing it was finally over but DCF doesn’t give up so easily. DCF filed a new 51A saying “ we have new allegations that have been brought to our attention” yet they still didn’t provide no file and my attorney my family where shocked. Attorney Seaver is a very nice person very straight to point he will tell you what reality is when it comes to these cases no sugar coating anything so he did what he’s best at and wrote a long email to the DCF Lawyer, DCF case worker, (I forgot to mention DCF got their DCF lawyer involved and this case is not even in for trail or court) bottom line if you want a lawyer that’s the BEST I would highly recommend Attorney Kevin Seaver and follow his instructions I repeat follow his INSTRUCTIONS. I am so glad we hired Tyler. He served as our mediator and he put together and filed all the necessary paperwork for us, and he did it all for a very reasonable flat fee. I was nervous that the divorce process would be a nightmare but he made the entire process as quick and painless as possible. He was so kind and professional and he always responded to all of our questions very quickly and made sure that we understood everything. There was a moment during my divorce process that I said to Karla "you take the wheel, I'll do whatever you tell me to do" and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. Divorce is overwhelming, confusing, physically and emotionally draining. Your world is turned upside down and it's hard to trust yourself or others. I put my trust in Karla and her team and they never let me down. Her interest in the well being of myself, my son and our future was genuine. Her knowledge of family law is unmatched. Her composure and tenacity unyielding, regardless of how bloated the other side huffed and puffed themselves up like the Big Bad Wolf. My divorce from an emotionally abusive narcissist was not an easy one. Karla has an emotional intelligence that is invaluable. My experience with the Mansur Law Group was far superior to the ones I had before. I, unfortunately, had to meet and part ways with a variety of Family Attorneys with mixed reviews about their commitment to my case. I have an ex-husband constantly filing complaints and losing them over six years after our divorce. This has recently culminated in a full-blown trial over custody of our children. My ex-husband was arrested and charged with assault and battery of one of our minor children. DCF was involved. The case was documented in detail and before it was dismissed, we attended parenting classes and worked with a family therapist in an effort to help him. This ended up with a restraining order due to his aggressive behavior that was captured by security cameras at my house. Karla Mansur was amazing at capturing six years of history that other attorneys had dismissed for being "complicated." Karla wrote a Finding of Facts document with such precision and eloquent description of the facts based on books of evidence and documents shared with her. She was firm in her language and extremely knowledgeable about how trials and post trials work. It was also comforting to wrap up a stressful experience with a Family Attorney who is so focused on the outcome, and most especially, the children who suffer as a result of a divorce. I could not recommend the Mansur Law Group more. If you are reading this before you do more research, don't waste time and reach out to this practice first. I don't get impressed easily and Karla Mansur and her team still impress me for their work in family law.

I couldn’t have made a better decision choosing Karla. I’ve known Karla for a long time now and have had her as a lawyer before. In my recent family court case with my ex-spouse, I needed Karla’s help to ensure the best deal possible against someone as stubborn as my former partner. Just from our first call about this case, it was obvious that she was looking out for me as another human being and that her heart was in the right place. Numerous places do the least while trying to get the most expenses out of you regardless of the outcome, but Karla went above and beyond. She helped me realize just how much more I should fight for certain things as opposed to giving in like I’ve so been used to. Jerry and Wendy represented me what should have been a simple - but ended up being – a complicated divorce. They were thorough and clear in explaining the process. That prepared me to help our children throughout the long time the case took. They were both easy to get in touch with and prompt in getting back to me. They told me what issues or concerns that we needed to address and those I should not spend money on. They were empathetic and helped me keep my perspective, even while preparing me for trial. They spent time preparing me on how to be a good witness. That reduced the stress and made me better able to listen to and respond to questions. I appreciate their professionalism and understanding and their situational awareness. There was no pushing an agenda, no name calling. They kept it very civil and respectful at all times. And in the end, that helped with the post-divorce environment for our children. Also, at the beginning Wendy and Jerry said what they thought the end result would be. And, that is pretty much what the judge did in his Judgment.

This past year, Wendy Hickey guided me through a divorce with the utmost professionalism and kindness.
