Shea is a real gem. I can't recommend her enough. She is intelligent, experienced, and always steady and professional. I really feel she always had my best interests at heart, and had my back when I needed that so much. She was also flexible and understanding of my personal chaos and uncertainty during this difficult time. And best of all, she does her own work. I was never passed off to a paralegal or a secretary. All my correspondence was directly with her, and I never had to get anyone else up to speed on my case, or feel like I was just another case file in a big firm. And all this for relatively reasonable rates. I really can't think of a downside to my experience with her.

I wanted to take the time to give an accurate reflection of my experience. Literally she made things so much easier for me. My divorce was a bit messy and emotional. She helped me to see the process, understand it and target what I wanted out of this in the end. Because of Shea’s help I was able to have a less chaotic experience than other people I know have had with their divorces and not using Shea. My life is back on track and I don’t regret a thing. Shea was very thorough and quick with responses when I needed to talk to her. Her work is of great quality and she helped me avoid some possible major issues had I not had her in my corner. Facing the prospect of a divorce is one of life's biggest challenges. Engaging in this process with Conscious Family turned a potentially polarizing experience into a more compassionate experience. Everyone on the team are professional, fair & compassionate. They modeled this behavior for us & gracefully steered us to an equitable, fair and reasonable settlement. Rather than falling into the trap of a potentially adversarial process with individual lawyers, we chose this option. It's pricey but worth it as the added benefit of a more intentional process served to help me heal from the divorce. Leaving a marriage with dignity is a far better option than hashing it out with opposing lawyers. Brent Warkentine is an extremely good lawyer and his staff are wonderful. I feel very fortunate that he was willing to take on my case on short notice. My ex and I had decided we didn’t need an attorney to handle our divorce, but at the last minute I found out that my ex had hired an attorney and I needed a lawyer immediately. Brent was able to schedule me in and guided me through the legal process so I wouldn’t get steamrolled by opposing council. He helped me through all the hoops and helped me to make the right choices for me and my son that were not based on emotions. Brent was highly recommended by other attorneys in the area and also in all the reviews I read. Brent’s staff always made me feel comfortable and at home whenever I was in the office. His staff were always available when I had questions or had Brent respond if they couldn’t provide the answers I needed. I am a victim of att. Murder as well as my son and she completely dropped the ball when we went to court.. I obtained all the evidence and she couldn't even prepare it, in this severe of a situation she was willing to leave me on the chopping block she even showed up to court looking un hygienic and tired... I have hired Rebecca Pescador on a few different occasions to represent me and help me through some personally difficult legal matters. I found her services to be efficient, affordable, and effective. It was very challenging to find an attorney in the midst of a difficult divorce. Katie and her team were awesome! Despite me having them join the party late they got right to business in my defense. She was upfront and honest about what we can avoid to save me money if possible. She told me what was beneficial and what wasn't. Furthermore, I was forced to drop council to pay marital bills (which she advised) as a benefit to all parties. Then offered guidance as a more cost effective option. Even after Katie called me the morning prior to a hearing as a courteous human being and directed me on what was immediately required for the hearing. She even went so far as to edit my response, file with the courts which I had no way of doing and suggested that she would only bill me an hour to prepare it. This is a huge testament to the overall integrity and professionalism of the practice which is hard to find in any profession. Thanks!

I met with Katie a year ago after my boys came to me with a serious issue regarding parenting time. Katie took my concerns very seriously and directed me to seek protection for my boys. Zach was then assigned to me to handle our case. All I can say is, thank God Zach had a plan, understood my frustrations, my anxiety, my concerns for my boys, and once I understood the plan, things just fell into place and Zach's best interest and concern for my boys prevailed. Casey and her team did an incredible job in guiding us through the overwhelming task of preparing our wills and getting our affairs in order. The process was manageable thanks to how the information was presented - small bites at a time. It made us answer and consider some tough questions but now that we're finished, we are confident that our children will be cared for and our assets managed appropriately. And as our situation changes over time, we know we'll be able to easily make adjustments. My soon to be ex partner called this office to arrange for an amicable separation and was given a slew of misinformation regarding the divorce process. He was told absolutely absurd lies about policies and division of property designed to incite ill feelings that would lead to him hiring them as divorce attorneys rather than having them file simple paperwork for dissolution without litigation. Luckily, we spoke to two other law offices that set the record straight and have continued with our very straightforward and amicable separation despite all attempts of this office to derail and inflame it. This is an absolutely disgusting display of parasitic and predatory behavior against people in pain with emotions and frustrations running high.

Stephen Vertucci was the second lawyer I had to hire in my divorce, and I’m very grateful to have found him. Stephen is knowledgeable of Colorado divorce law and how they play out in the court room, and he has great interpersonal skills. He stepped into a situation with me that was not the norm, and he helped me find the best path forward to a resolution that did not leave me feeling like I would be continually stuck in the past. Although I didn’t like everything he had to tell me, I knew he was telling me the truth and providing the best guidance available. If I ever decide to become involved in a relationship again, I’ll be hiring him for a prenup!

I cannot recommend Tom Cossitt and his team enough. He prioritized the safety of myself and my daughter and made himself available 24/7. At our hearing, the judge said that we had the best relocation presentation he had ever seen and we were able to relocate! Tom was aggressive and confident in court and definitely knew his stuff.

The best thing that happened to me when I was using this law firm was when they fired me as a client. The mistakes this place makes are unbelievable. Wrong names of my kids, not holding a deadline, not holding the opposing party accountable, legal knowledge all very sub standard IMPO. Run from this law firm. All they will do is suck up your money and do very little for it.

The Cossitt law firm saved my children and myself. Not only was I only partially employed (as I was a stay at home mom), I was going through a contentious divorce that was getting more complicated by the day. After switching to this firm, Tom Cossitt became our champion. My children are safe now. They are happy now. Tom is the hardest working attorney I’ve ever met. He actually cares about his clients, I’ve sent him three other friends now and they all have had the same success. Divorce sucks. Tom helped it to suck less. Tom cared about the details, our family, and what was most important for my children.
