I was referred to Provinziano & Associates by my family lawyer here in Arizona because of their expertise in jurisdiction. Me and my ex had an informal written agreement that our kids would live with me in AZ through the school year and visit him in CA on school breaks. On spring break of this year, my ex did not put my kids back on the plane home and ghosted me for 2 days. Because of jurisdictional issues, I needed a CA attorney to represent me and make the case that my kids are residents of AZ so we could have our case here. My lawyer, Al; and his paralegal Ava have made my life easier knowing that my case was in such great hands. They are professional, responsive, and so far everything has gone in our favor. I was referred to Cary by Steven Mindel to review my palimony case for viability. My legal situation is very complicated nearly 5 years later & 4 lawsuits between my ex & myself, so I knew it wouldn’t be “quick” or “easy” getting Cary caught up enough to decipher the situation, but I very clearly understand now why he is a difficult man to get a hold of, & why his hourly rate is as high as it is - because Cary is worth it. I walked in not expecting to get as much time, respect, information, support & truth as he kindly provided me with. I arrived with a sheet of paper that drew/listed out, each of the lawsuits: the case number, judge, date filed & complaints, organized chronologically. Cary spent about an hour with myself & a trusted family friend deciphering the overall situation & the best strategy moving forward. He told us what he knew about judges & other lawyers & their demeanours, he used his own past cases as examples to help us understand how he would arrive at his opinions. Ultimately, he told us the truth. It wasn’t necessarily enjoyable to hear (that basically everything I’ve already lost is lost forever & most likely will just get worse) & he agreed that none of this is by any means fair… but it was realistic & honest, & I can’t imagine a greater gift from an attorney. Altogether, Cary said it was not in my best interest to move forward on this case - that Cary could take my money at an hourly rate, but he didn’t feel the emotional & financial expenses were worth it. When I told him that I didn’t care if I spent every last dollar paying him just to drag my ex through some of the horrors my ex has dragged me through time & again, Cary calmly brought me back down to grown-up Earth: “That isn’t a good way of looking at it.” He reminded me that I’m still young enough to let this go & enjoy my life, & after a few tears, I felt lighter & good about letting this case (& everything else I’ve lost in these terrible 5 years)... go. Cary is patient, clear, kind, extremely knowledgeable, well-connected in the Los Angeles County court system, professional, realistic, & unexpectedly he also has a dry, lovely sense of humour in stolen moments. I would have felt proud & grateful to have him representing me. In my experience & interactions with him, I truly found Cary Goldstein to be a good man & a brilliant lawyer.

Jonathan Parkavan represented me and my children in a move away case. He has an exemplary understanding of Family Law, and was able to communicate with me so I fully understood the process and the seriousness of my case. What can I say about Maryam? She is absolutely the best attorney I could have found. I am so lucky to have found her. She is very calm and collected when dealing with you. However, she's as tough as nails with the other side. She resolved my custody issues almost immediately. And that was just the beginning! Maryam would have settled my case in less than a year had the other side not dragged their feet. In the end I got everything I wanted! If I could give more stars, I would. Tamara literally saved my life from a dangerous predator. She knew exactly how to guide me through the process and made sure I understood everything before proceeding on to the next issue, and was always very straightforward and honest. Mine was a very long and drawn-out process due to the level of psychosis of the other party involved, and Tamara definitely went above and beyond to keep me safe and ensure that my property remained in my possession. She worked when she was sick, pulled all-nighters and hustled over the holidays to ensure my safety. She made sure I received the maximum amount of protection from the courts, and even helped me regain some of the legal fees. She truly cares for her clients and it shows. I know she had lots of other cases besides mine but she always made me feel as though she was always there for me, and always responded immediately in an emergency, no matter the hour. She is truly what a great attorney is SUPPOSED to be. I always felt confident with her support, and believe me when I say that you will do well to trust her. Addendum 07/18/2021: Well unfortunately I was in the position where I had to hire an attorney again because of the same vexatious litigant, but I am so grateful to have Tamara on my side! She once again came through for me when I needed her the most, put my fears to rest, and took care of business. You will not find a more hard-working and empathetic professional in this field. I looked at the reviews and they were really good so gave her a call to help me with my divorce case and she made an appointment and the consultation was $425 when there are other people who do free consultation. It was alot but she told me she would put it on my retainer fee. So we made an appointment with her and she said her secretary would send me an email to confirm and they never did. That was a red flag. But I gave her a chance and I called again to send the email and they did. Then we made an appointment. I was ready for my appointment and they cancelled on me when I payed the consultation already. We made another appointment. She was late for our new appointment and she called and she cut me off because she needed to "order lunch for her son for school." And I was like what kind of professionalism is this? Then I let her do what she needed to do which took like 30 minutes but it was fine because I'm also a mother but she could've done that before our appointment. At that point I regretted paying her. I asked how much I was going to pay to finish my divorce and she said $10,000. I was like omg to just finish? I thought it would be 2500 or something. I asked her for some of my money back because she didn't even anything and everything was incorrect and she started arguing with me when I didn't get my full hour consultation either. I thought everything would be fine but paying her in the first place was a big mistake. Shes not professional at all I don't recommend her. There are other people who give free consultation and do a good job unlike Tamara.

Tamara knew exactly how to guide me from the first day she reviewed my situation. And even though court matters can take a while to settle in your favor, her advice was in alignment with what I needed to gain justice in a horrible situation. My situation was really bad because I lacked representation initially and had made mistakes of my own. I am overjoyed now that I did what she advised because it was such an enormous gain for me. WOW is the first word that comes to mind about Warren.  I had a tough case fighting for custody of my teenager.  It is hard to enforce custody orders when your child is older and it was imperative to have enforceable orders as the clock was running out.  His orders along with Ex Parte's to get the job done in the shortest time we could do, were amazing.  Warren knew just the orders to ask for that were enforceable.  If you are coming from your heart as a parent for the best interest of your child, taking steps towards that goal consistently and with determination. Warren did a fine job. I think we worked together, and communicated well, as a team. We established three or four key points. Gathered facts and data, and presented those in very clear, almost irrefutable Exhibits. Being as highly motivated as I was to win this case, I was willing to put in whatever hours were needed to generate documents that supported the arguments as Mr. Shiell indicated. All in all, the outcome was better than I had hoped.

I hired Warren Shiell to deal with a relatively straightforward matter involving the renegotiation of the final stages of my divorce agreement. While the legal aspects were not complicated, I needed someone who could help me plan out a strategy in advance (I came to him almost six months before a deadline mandated in the agreement) and be sensitive to the psychology of the situation. I’m sorry to report he was inattentive both to the case and to the notes I gave him about dealing with my ex, was difficult to reach, called out of the blue only when it suited him, failed to draft a proposal letter as I repeatedly ask him to do and then, with just a few weeks to go before deadline, disappeared on vacation for a month without any forewarning. The one document he produced was a strategy sheet, which largely reproduced work done by a forensic accountant (for which I had paid separately) and proved to be almost entirely unusable after I hired a new – fabulous, efficient, attentive and effective – attorney. After I dismissed him, it took him more than a month to provide a final billing and a check for the balance of my retainer, and then only after repeated reminders that became necessarily more insistent. In the wake of his dismissal, he charged three times as much for the last month as he had for previous four. He insisted he had charged me correctly for the work he put in, but I saw scant evidence that that was the case. I was deeply disappointed because Mr. Shiell came warmly recommended as a tough but fair-minded divorce lawyer who charged reasonable rates and gave clients their money’s worth. That was not my experience, on any front. Perhaps he didn’t find my case all that interesting. If so, he should have turned me down and/or referred me elsewhere, not wasted my time and my money. Others beware.

Best attorney ever! She is an amazing person. I found her based on her good reviews on google. I can’t believe what she has done for me so far. She knows everything and she is a very experienced attorney. I was totally lost, and she helped me to solve my problem. I had a divorce case with a bunch of narrow areas, but she helped me to finish that chaos. She is very responsible and loyal to her work. She won’t waste your time. She won’t charge you extra or for nothing.( this is a very important part, usually you get charges from your attorney and you don’t even know why!? But you won’t get that kind of experience from her.) I wish I had more space to write plenty of good things about her. She is awesome.
