It is IMPOSSIBLE to Find Better Council I have no way of truly stating or defining the fact that in your darkest moment as a father facing divorce, fear and anger develop. I was in this situation and needed to find a good attorney. Let me re-phrase this.... I needed to find the BEST attorney. And by luck, I did. Where do I even begin? Mr. Hartley and his team were on top of things since day one. If you work with him, he will definitely go above and beyond to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. If you’re looking for a gladiator then you’ve found him! If you want a straight up lawyer that’s gonna tell you what you need to know then he is it. I retained Mr. Russell to handle my dissolution with children and we discussed all options and he helped establish a fair and reasonable shared parenting time schedule with my ex-husband. He excels at negotiations and unlike many people, I understand that there is no winner in divorce/dissolutions/custody matters. It is imperative to reach a reasonable resolution rather than "beating your former spouse in court". I agreed with Mr. Russel that it is far better to try and resolve issues between the parties rather than leaving it up to a Judge. Simply put, there are things that you have to give up in return to acquire the things that matter most to you. Our dissolution was fairly easy and was completed in under 3 months which required both parties to be amenable (not always the case which can drag things out). Mr. Russell also proved to also be an excellent reference when I moved out of state in search of a new job. He is a class act and don't be fooled by his easy going demeanor to mean that he is passive or easily manipulated by opposing counsel. His ability to keep a cool head and calm demeanor allows for a more positive outcome for his clients. He cares about his clients and he will give you straight answers rather than making promises which is often times misconstrued by the lay person who may not understand the processes of litigation.
