I had consultation with Brandon to go over a termination agreement after being laid off from my previous employer. I was concerned with signing such a large contract and wanted someone to review it with me and make sure that it was okay and wasn't a harmful agreement for myself. Roger was my layer for a divorce. I was very satisfied. I don't think anyone "wins" a divorce but I was satisfied with the end result. It was better than I expected was going to happen. As further evidence, the opposing side was not happy with the outcome. I have ot assume Roger made a better argument and was better prepared. He was very fair on the billing. I never felt like I was being overcharged. He quickly responded to all correspondence. I would recommend him!!

This should allow 0 stars! Kelly Wieczorek at this firm is very inexperienced and has no clue what she is doing. Also they are very intimidated by lies by the opposing party. They are not willing to represent a client in their best interest on a case! They will then withdraw on the case after one week! She also appears late to your important court hearing and is the one that caused harm to the case. It seems they will give anyone a law degree these days. All they care about is the financial benefit! Their response is all lies to protect a firm that will do Nothing in your best interest on a case. I highly recommend to find a better firm, there are many out there!

If I could give a zero star- I would. My husband and I hired Mrs. Kamman one year ago. Due to Covid- our court dates kept getting pushed out. After a YEAR- we finally were set to go to trial. This was a straight forward case- ONLY to modify my husbands child support order that was 5 years old. We provided her with everything she requested prior to court and were told she would “file” the necessary motions for us. Leading up to our court date- we could not reach her for status. No returned phone calls or emails. February 2021 we finally have trial. Judge calls our case- and she isn’t on the call. Judge says he will give an hour for her to get on, and join. We frantically start to call and email her- unsure of what is happening! After one hour- she is a no call no show. Judge ruled against us. We ask for a continuance and judge says “FOR WHAT- NOTHING HAS BEEN FILED ON YOUR BEHALF FOR THIS CASE”. Total jaw drop. A year of continued court cases and a stiff $3500 retainer with NOTHING to show for it. Almost three weeks later, here we are... and still NO common courtesy call or returned email. I’d advise against hiring this crook of an attorney. Contact ARDC and complain ASAP! This kind of practice is unethical.

I had a very positive experience with Mrs. Kamman as my divorce attorney. My case involved custody, a shared underwater home that was complex to get my name removed from (due to the mortgage company), and my wanting to maintain a positive relationship with my Ex. In other words, while it was a friendly divorce; it did involve several issues that needed legal expertise. Sue was able to provide that for me. Also Sue did an outstanding job presenting me in court. The McHenry county judges respect her and she has an excellent working relationship with them. She has the divorced court system memorized down to every detail and form. Recently my Ex passed away, and our child is still a teen. Sue was able to help and guide me on who to contact to take on this next complicated journey. She also was able to provide the estate attorney with the divorce documentation needed. It was very helpful to have her help during a very sad and stressful time.

Has taken my money but has refused to call me or respond to my emails for 2 weeks. You need to answer me you took my money. Edit only called me after this review and yelled at me that her email server went down. When I asked why she didn’t call she became irate. Very unprofessional. Note the unprofessional response as well. I only spoke with you, you never responded. Nor did I scream at anyone. Also why are you responding 6 months later at 1am?

I have been desperately trying to get in touch with my hired attorney, Sue Kamman, for over a month. Our last conversation she told me she was going to respond to my ex’s attorney the moment she hung up the phone, and she never did. Since then, she has not returned a single call, or email, no matter how much I try. This is an extremely difficult time in my (or anyone’s) life and by abandoning me after she got her retainer, she’s made it exponentially harder. Do your research, and understand that lawyers are exactly who you think they are. Especially this one. EDIT: After nearly 2 months since I’d posted the above review, I was able to finish out my divorce without the help of Sue Kamman. I had to go around her back in order to get things done because she would not act. She blamed server/email issues for her reason not for contacting me, for over 4 months. Not once did she return one of my many phone calls. Having given up on any help from Sue, I requested she withdraw from my case, so that I could represent myself and finish my divorce. She made zero efforts to do this, and when the court date came, the judge was waiting for her to show up to the zoom call for over a half hour. After my ex’s attorney pressured her, Sue joined the call, just to withdraw as my attorney. She still has over half of my retainer, and has done the bare minimum of work, and effort. If you ask me my opinion, Sue Kamman is a criminal, and a fraud. I’ve requested my retainer back from her multiple times, and I’ve again received no response. This practice shows absolutely no professionalism, or human decency. I am disgusted by her behavior and I hope that the ARDC investigates these claims, as no lawyer should be allowed to do this to anyone. Sue Kamman should be disbarred.

I am not an English native speaker, I come from China. My case was very complicated and difficult case. I interviewed so many attorneys, some of them have decent titles. But after a brief conversation with David Kerpel, I decided to hire him without any hesitation. He is very knowledgeable, thoughtful, strong sympathy, think quickly. Attorney of ex-husband was very tough and also very experienced, but no matter opposing counsel how tough she was, David always very calm, respectful and control the situation quickly even though my situation was extremely passive. I am come from another country and don’t know anything about the law here, ex-husband was divorcing me by email when I was out of United States. He relocated to another state to open his own company. I did’t know how much marital property we had and how much he earned after he filed the divorce. I speak and wrote the broken English. You could imagine how difficult and passive my situation was. My son is American who is stay in China rather than in USA during this long divorce process, my physical condition also was bad, ex husband require our son back to USA but he doesn’t want too much parenting time. David has strong sympathy and consider all the facts for me and my son. Earning as much benefits as he can for me and my son’s future. The final result is beyond my expectation. Michael Domain was my second attorney during my divorce. He was professional, kind, informative and a calming presence throughout my divorce. Before I hired Mike Doman and Leo Sokolov, my divorce case was looking messy. This in part being that I had a 19.5-year marriage, I had never contemplated divorce and previously hired incompetent council lasting 18 months. I wasted a lot of money learning. My own naive self and unfamiliarity with the process combined with my wife hiring a Master of Rhetorical Sewage Creation put me in the position of needing a Superhero fast or I would likely soon die from exhaustion. Mike Doman is an impeccable Divorce Lawyer and his firm is outstanding.
